“The best slice in the Hamptons, with apologies to La Capannina and Dive Bar. Every option is excellent. I personally prefer the white slice without lemon. Paired with a bottle of Coke, it makes for a perfect lunch. The only thing keeping this from a five-star rating is the dining atmosphere. The seating area feels disconnected from Amagansett, crowded with celebrity photos, athlete portraits, and hip-hop memorabilia that seem generic—like they were copied directly from their Brooklyn branches without much thought. If this place adapts its vibe to feel more at home in the local community, it will easily be a five-star spot.“

“The staff is so friendly. Girl at the counter is a total rockstar, and probably needs a pay raise! Service was a bit slow and backed up. Crowd is hit or miss! Most of the folks were nice and friendly, while the “younger” “30’s” crowd were passive aggressively rude. Food was awesome- we got ours to go, but had drinks while we waited.“

“From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by what was quite possibly the most patient host I've ever seen. She was managing a huge crowd with a smile on her face, even while dealing with guests insisting they were owed a table when they weren't. She handled everything with professionalism and kindness.

Once we were seated, we were lucky enough to have Omar as our server, and he was easily the best server in the restaurant. He made sure our table was well taken care of, checked in at the right times, and everything came out promptly, exactly the kind of service we were hoping for. The next time I come back, I'll definitely be asking for Omar.

And the food? I can't lie.. it was absolute FIRE. I'd give the meal an 8/10 overall. Every dish at our table was solid, and I don't think there was a single bad plate.

“Had the chance to visit Sam’s last week and happy to report it’s still the same classic, family friendly spot it always has been. The minute you walk in the doors, all the great memories come flooding back. Our food (four cheese pie with chicken and the linguine with locally caught seafood) was delish! Our server was lovely. I also got a vodka martini that was perfect. Looking forward to coming back later this summer!“

“This pizza spot is incredible. Super fast service and incredible pizza by the slice or whole pies. Definitely recommend a pinwheel to compliment a slice. Also ordered a crisp Greek salad. Wide selection of bottled and fountain beverages. Great pricing, service and food at this location.“

“The beef was amazing. Chicken could have a little more flavor but the green sauce came in to save the day. Potatoes packed with flavor. Plantains on point. Rice is wow. “Absolutely loved Crazy Pizza in East Hampton. The atmosphere is lively without feeling overdone, the service was warm and attentive, and the food was genuinely excellent.

Importantly, this is not the place for people expecting traditional, heavy pizza. These are lighter, roughly 500-calorie pizzas with some of the thinnest crust I’ve ever had. Personally, I love that because it feels clean and doesn’t leave you feeling weighed down. But it’s worth knowing going in that this is not deep dish or a traditional NY-style thick crust.

That said, if you like ultra-thin, crisp, flavorful pizza with great ingredients, it really delivers. It has that rare mix of being fun, polished, and still relaxed enough for a casual night out. Great spot for dinner with friends, date night, or bringing people from out of town who want something that feels very East Hampton but not stuffy.

Definitely one of the better dining experiences I’ve had out east. Will absolutely be back.“
