“Attended a softball tournament with my family and recommended the Blue Dolphin for after the games. Several parents of players also came to eat. I have to say I was disappointed in the dining experience. I have been there many times in the past if I was in the area but the physical appearance was rundown and uninviting. The food was not like I remember . Adequate but lacking in quality…I was somewhat embarrassed since I raved about how delicious it was from my past meals….of course prices were increased but my sandwich was cold and soggy…the rib special was just okay and the spaghetti tasted sweet and mushy meatballs. Ranch dressing tasted bad…my granddaughters had salads and chicken strips and refused to eat it. I won’t be recommending this diner or stop to eat . I am from NEPA and I will have to find someplace else to eat when traveling through area.. So sorry.“

“I have tried the "new" extra hot wings. they are very tasty. they made my nose run, an indicator of "hot" wings. extra hot actually makes my eyes water as well as my nose running. BUT these have a very good taste, not the normal hot sauce and butter flavor. recommend them for anyone who really enjoys their hot wings.“

“Traveling home from a wedding in Columbus OH to home in Maine we pinned the halfway point to stop over. We discovered this gem of a restaurant of MJ's on the Susquehanna River in historic Owego, NY. We dined ohe deck by the river. We ate the butter lettuce pockets of vegetables and a Greek salad. DELICIOUS! Having been so sensible with our vegetarian supper we shared the pan cooked chocolate chip cookie with ice cream and caramel sauce. Great service, decor, funk factor, clean and good. We may live 8 hours away, but this dining experience makes it worth returning for. Plus there are plenty of interesting places to see in this part of NY.“

On top of that- wonderful craft cocktails, curated wine list and fun selection of beers on tap! The shining star on top of all that!? The FOOD! We had a group of us and ordered the house bread & cajun calamari to start - delish! Entrees ranged from the signature French Onion Burger (the best burger I’ve EVER had- no contest ) to petite surf & turf. Steaks were cooked perfectly and the seafood sides were unique and delish! Ended the night with the Chef’s homemade Peanut Butter pie - it was so full of flavor but fluffy and airy you couldn’t even dream of it having any calories. A showstopper. RUN - don’t walk to this establishment. You won’t be disappointed!“

“I was on my way to visit family , came across your diner . Staff friendly and courteous, and the home fries for me were the best. They brought back memories of the way my mother made them . “Me, my husband and a few friends from my local church had a fellowship get together here. The food was delicious and talk about bread, they have the best garlic bread, bread and butter I have ever had. The staff is very courteous and kind. The only bad side is they close early and don’t have a lot for night staffing. I would highly recommend this place for a nice place to eat and have a social get together for lunch. An institution in Endwell New York since 1942.Good food at good prices.Tonight I ordered the Southwest Burger with curly fries.The burger topped with: bacon, onion rings, Chipotle mayo, jalapeños, lettuce and tomato.Had a nice taste. The jalapeños and Chipotle mayo, give it the right amount of heat.The bacon and onion rings gave added flavor.The menu has a wide variety of options pizza, wraps, salads, sandwiches, burgers even a kids menu.I even know someone who has a drink named after them at the Galley.Give them a try for good food with a great atmosphere.“

“Came in for endless shrimp. Wasn’t expecting spectacular service. There was this wonderful manager. She had glasses and black hair. She told me her name but I don’t know how to spell it. I ordered my food and it was missing my side. Before I can get someone’s attention she came right over to me and asked how everything was. I told her I never received my side with endless. Within seconds she came back out with my side with a smile. She was very attentive. She apologized for my side not coming out originally with the rest of my food. I felt the sincerity in her voice. I then noticed her go to a few other tables to see how everyone else was doing. It’s great to see a manager take pride in a restaurant and making sure their guest are taken care of. I appreciated that.“
