During our party the folks eating the cookies were in aww of the cookies and wanted to know where we order them from. I told them Bella’s bake shop in Mount Kisco. “I am genuinely surprised by some of the negative reviews. I decided to visit the bakery on a whim because my usual one was closed, and I was needed a cake and some sweets. I had the chance to meet one of the owners, who was incredibly sweet and friendly. She was incredibly patient as I placed my order, which included a multitude of items. My family and I were happy with the cake, and the mini chocolate, passionfruit, and mixed berry mouse cakes that we ate. Not to mention, I also got a loaf of bread, which was sooo tasty!! “So been here alot before i started writing reviews. In The Summer during the Thornwood car show, my parents and i can be seen eating their italian ices, which are very good. They also have cakes, pastries, and i believe i tasted my first almond horn from here, and it was good! Also once brought a pint to use for my 18th/Graduation party a few years ago. Inside, they do have chairs and tables where one can sit if they want.
Went here on Saturday August 10th 2024 while at the Thornwood car show with my parents. We were there to get italian ices. Staff was pleasant, and asked what we wanted right away. I got a Cotton Candy Italian ice, and my mom got lemon, and my dad got chocolate. We paid with cash, as they charge for using a credit card. Italian ices were very good! as we enjoyed them! We hope to be back soon!“

My friend, who attends Pole Position (the pole dancing studio) across the street, took me in to grab a hot drink on a rainy day. Tous Les Jours was brightly lit and had some of the prettiest pastries I’ve seen! We grabbed some cinna-cloud bites and a spinach-feta danish, but I told myself I would be back for the macaroons!

The girl behind the counter (I wish I had gotten her name) was super sweet and gave great recommendations for our drinks. She also was warmed up all of our treats and was also our barista; everything tasted delicious. While I got the lavender latte this time, I need to be back to try their tiramisu latte and their butter pecan cloud latte!“

“Best Mexican tortas, right across from a hospital you will definitely get your moneys worth if you stop here for a meal. Prices are cheap you cant beat them. Mexican bread pan dulce also available you can have a beer with your meals. Street parking is the only issue“

“We've been coming to the reading room since it opened. We are big fans of the coffee bar especially the hot lattes. We had one yesterday that was delicious, creamy, smooth and had divine chocolate notes. Cup sizing is great too (small = 2 shots, medium = 3 shots, large = 4 shots). They do coffee right in a way that most coffee shops do not!! Staff are always welcoming and kind. Wonderful seating on front porch. Book selection is also great and they will order any book for you! They are the best :)“

“There is a lack of good coffee shops around me but this place doesn’t disappoint — good strong coffee, great desserts and reasonable prices.

The lady at the front was also super nice and recommended different options.

“I had a very good pretzel from here. It was hot and fresh. The only thing wrong was that there was a long line. This meant the staff was having a very hard time handling the people and making the pretzels at the same time, so I had a very long wait.“

“The bagels here are some of the best I've ever had! My favorite is the blueberry. The service is great and they are happy to toast and cut your bagel however you like. They will wrap up your items nicely and offer you extra bags if you want, it's always such a good experience! They also have a variety of cream cheeses; lox, strawberry, plain, etc.

The pastries and baked goods are hit or miss for me. The linzer cookies are great but the cakes aren't my favorite. I suppose they have something for everyone.

“Just picked up 3 Stollen (German holiday cakes) one hesitates to say these are by far the best, forget about the sad supermarket specimen. I have bought them in German high end patisseries including in Dresden where they reputably come from, NOT even close! “Stopped by The Shop Ardsley and it did not disappoint! The vibe is cozy and welcoming, and everything feels fresh and thoughtfully made. The bagels were absolutely delicious, perfectly chewy with that classic NY-style bite. You can tell they really care about quality.

The jalapeño spread was the star, SO good! Creamy with just the right amount of heat, and it paired perfectly with the bagel. Honestly, I’d come back just for that alone.

Only small downside: the menu posted outside on the window could definitely use an update, it didn’t reflect all the yummy options they actually offer inside. A refreshed menu would make it even easier for new customers to see what they’re working with.

Still, highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area and craving a proper bagel fix. I’ll definitely be back!“

“If what you’re looking for is good bagels, you will not find better in lower Westchester. No frills, but who cares? You’re in and out. The bagels are chewy and fresh. Nearly every other bakery nearby sells bagels that would qualify as a variation of bread — not bagel. This is the only place our family gets them from.“
