“I saw this place on instagram and added it to my bucket list. My husband and I traveled from Atlanta just to try The Monkey King. The atmosphere is comfortable and laid back. Our waiter was accommodating and made us feel like we were seating in VIP. We met the owner Mike. He was professional and was grateful for us traveling to Brooklyn New York to try his restaurant. The taste from each dish blew us away from the concocted herbs and spices. We will definitely return.“
“The best thing about the restaurant is the old lady that owns the restaurant! Absolutely! Adorable and soo sweet! The beef noodle dish was so5 stars for 5 seasons1. Owner is sweet! Sweetest old lady you’ll ever meet!2. Beef noodle dish was perfection! Super flavorful, noodle texture perfect! Beef was so tender!3. Price was amazing!4. Fast service! Super!5. Location was good! Not the best!“
“Love this place .. my brother Inlaw and sister came here from Jax beach Florida and they love it !! Brought me back some food to try .. I loved it !! Check out the article in edible queens !!!!! Definitely a pleaser !!!! If you love spice this is the place to be !“
“We were looking for a place to celebrate our daughter’s first birthday. We live in Manhattan and needed a place where we could host up to 80 people with easy parking and good food. All of the usual ideas weren’t cutting it for us so my father-in-law who lives in Woodmere suggested Jackie’s place as an option. My wife was a little hesitant at first. I think she had her mind made up with some of the more traditional options like an ice cream parlor or room somewhere with catering. But her father and Jackie talked some more and sent her pictures of the location and the idea of hosting here grew on her.Jackie had never hosted this kind of party but he and my wife worked out the details in terms of setting up a buffet, the right cost per person, the time (on Feb 10, Chinese New Year) and the decorations. Everyone was a little nervous, including her father who kind of felt like he set us up on a blind date: we hadn’t had the food or actually visited the place.Cut to the party and it wound up being absolutely amazing in every regard. My biggest concern was the food. My family loves Chinese and who knew it would be so delicious. I knew the other details would be fine in the end and people being together would make the party fine regardless, but bad food would have been trouble. Not only was the food not bad, it was truly Delicious! We had trays of dumplings, spring rolls, cold sesame noodles (often tough to get good ones but not here!), Sesame chicken, pork chow fun, shrimp with vegetables, lo meins, fried rices, Mongolian beef, and lots more. We figured we would have food to take home and were shocked at just how little left overs there were. And this was not due to lack of volume but instead to how much everyone ate.I could say lots more about Jackie’s first time hosting an affair like this, and about him as a host, and about the party being so successful. But bottom lines are these:1. If hosting a kid’s birthday or other such event at a Chinese restaurant wasn’t a thing, it should be now2. Call Jackie to host your next event. You won’t be sorry3. Come any time for a meal or takeout. If Delicis was in downtown Manhattan, it would be insanely popularThanks Jackie and Delicis staff for your time, communication and amazing food. Hoping you start hosting events like ours more frequently!“
“everything was excellent! I had a tremendous lunch with my wife for $11.99 per person. When you enter you go to the buffet and take a plastic snack (there you will see them on the buffet), you can take as much as you want until the food is full and "it can close well.", then you pay and that's it! only $11.99 per (person/meal).I HOW did you hear! and I was fine! ??I fully recommend this place! It is fine and economical and you eat very tasty!“
“Chang Pai Restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience with a diverse menu of authentic Asian cuisine. Manager Momotha ensures top-notch service and a welcoming atmosphere. The food is consistently delicious, and the staff is attentive. Whether you're craving traditional Thai dishes or exploring new flavors, Chang Pai is a must-visit dining destination.“
“Never underestimate the power of good food. Eating delicious food can be a life changing experience. I'm not usually the type to write a review on a restaurant, but I have to undoubtedly admit medina halal was of the best restaurants I have ever experienced. From amazing service to delicious food the list Carries on and I would highly recommend for you to go there whilst you’re in Worthing. Your truly Devendra Bishoo“
“I was on a job nearby and was set on getting halal food. I saw this food truck and decided to give it to a try. This is honestly one of the best food trucks I’ve ever tried in NYC. I will never eat general tsos chicken from another Chinese food place again. He also hooked it up with extra chicken. Excellent customer service“
“Very nice place, the menu boasts a wide variety of options, from classic favorites like General Tso's Chicken to more adventurous dishes like Szechuan Spicy Beef. Each dish is prepared with care, using fresh ingredients and traditional cooking techniques.“
“The best buffet in Brooklyn. They have everything & everything was was good. You don't have to wait for them to bring out more food. They refill before it's empty. The food is fresh. I love their sushi bar, all kinds of sushi.“
“Great local Chinese spot in the neighborhood. I ordered my food for pickup and it was ready within 5 minutes. The food is made to go, and smells delicious. For takeout, the food is delicious once served at home. Still very hot, and you can tell it's freshly made. The lady behind the counter is very nice and friendly, and always has a smile. Unfortunately, don't go unless you have cash in hand. They don't take Cards.“
“Great chinese food. Much better than the average takeout place, for only a few bucks more. They charge extra 1$ for rice unlike alot of places and dont give any sort of crispy wontons to start which would be nice but the dishes taste very very good and for that reason i keep returning.“
“I work nearby so my coworkers and I order from here often, about once a week or so. We prefer this takeout restaurant over the other ones in the area. I usually order by phone and so far, never got an incorrect order. That's always a plus! I believe that the one who answers the phone is also the main cook. Since it's often a one man show, please remember to be patient and kind. My usual go to is the Sesame Chicken Lunch Special with a side of Coke! The flavor is always consistent and delicious. My workplace ordered a tray of Fried Chicken and Lo Mein a few times over the past few years and it was just what staff needed. I did see that they also sell fresh fruits in a container (pineapple and watermelon) for about $2. The price is very cheap compared to the other Chinese takeout places that I've visited. I will continue ordering from here as long as I work nearby!“
“Handmade noodles tossed in chili oil with a dan dan Seasoning. Dumplings crispy and not oversteamed. The dumpling sauce also not just watered down soy. It's got vinegar sugar and a hint of fish sauce. Hot sauce also is a special mix as well. Lots of flavor. Lots of seating. Doesn't need to be pretty, the food does and it's very tasty“
“Ok, the food is great, the portion is large and the price is good. It is also important that they have an A in health and exquisite flavor! It is unfortunate to see someCustomers treat staff badly. I imagine everything the girl must endure.“
“Had the best experience this evening! Our server Jessica was so pleasant and took care of us! She was so kind and attentive. Overall the food was delicious and excellent service. Definitely recommend coming here for authentic Guyanese food! Was worth coming all the way from Toronto!“
“Amazing food all around. Had the sweet corn soup and samosa chaat as starters, and they were both really good. The samosa chaat had the right spice level!Veg Hakka noodles is the main I got while my partner got Singapore noodles with shrimp. The Hakka noodles were perfection in texture, not oily, not soggy, just right and very generous portions too. Needed a little bit of salt but that's easily fixed and I'd rather have less salt in a dish than too much!Partner said the shrimp was cooked beautifully in their noodles and was very flavourful.Had the ras Malai for dessert and it was really good too. As previous reviews have mentioned, Tanveer was an excellent server and was very sweet and helpful. The restaurant is very clean, has really good table settings and overall the atmosphere is cosy for a dine in. Highly recommend them for their food + all around service.“
“I really wanted pan fried noodles but haven't found good ones in the neighborhood. I found this place on google maps and can't believe I've never seen it before. I stopped in and ordered the vegetable pan fried noodles and asked for them to pack them separately otherwise they'd be super soggy by the time I got home. It was so good. Very flavorful. I'm def going to have to go back to the some other things“
“"After 20 years, Lee's Restaurant remains an exceptional place with impeccable service. The classic Blue Hawaiian still delights my taste buds, and every visit here has been a wealth of happiness. A truly incredible experience that lasts throughout the years! time!"“
“Quick, efficient, and delicious. Exactly what I wanted for a Chinese food fix. The fried shrimp dumplings are outstanding. The egg drop soup was hot and peppery with tons of egg. Everything was served up super hot and fresh as soon as I arrived. I live a short 10 mins walk away. The menu prices have almost doubled from the menus you see here on yelp, so keep that in mind and bring enough cash. What I thought was going to cost $10.50, cost $18, but it's enough food for 2 nights so I'm not complaining. Didn't have the pleasure of being served by Sue. But her presence is felt everywhere with the multitude of signs signed by Sue.“
“Wendy the owner is always kind and greet customers with a great appreciation for us being and I love her for that. The food tastes even better that way. Thank you Wendy for your years of service to our neighborhood. They also take cash app and Zelle can’t go win with “
“Let me start by saying this the atmosphere was beautiful!!! The waitress Kadijah was amazingly sweet! I went there yesterday with my girlfriends and was instantly greeted by her, I was there at 4pm and the restaurant was busy at the time we got there so I was shocked that we had such fast and amazing treatment! We ordered cocktails and saw that it was being made by Kadijah herself, her “bahama mama” cocktail was to die for, I had 3 myself!! I would come back to Sheriff Street just for her to serve me… she is a sweetheart!!! The food was also incredibly delicious!!!! 10/10“
“Got take out for the first time and didn't have high hopes bc the menu is so big but the food came fast, was warm, packaged well and was great! The sesame noodles are a ginormous portion, the buns and chicken were great, the chicken was big white meat pieces, the mango in the mango tuna roll could have been sweeter but its not in season so makes sense.“
“Me & my family just ordered a delivery. I've read the reviews and i wanted to give them a try and I'm so glad I did. The food is really delicious (really fresh), the hospitality 5 star, Linda took care of me from the phone call to the delivery. And I work in the Marriott Marquis Hotel, I know quality and the whole staff is very welcoming. I ordered 12 fried wings, Lg lo mein, Shrimp & Broccoli, and shrimp egg rolls. Let me tell y'all; everything was cooked perfectly. This is my new delivery spot. And I almost forgot they are thoughtful and gave me a 2024 calendar which I thought was so sweet.“
“Know them for 5 years and My experience is a family oriented place where I can eat comfortably I'm feel comfortably with though The chicken is always fresh and and perfectly crispy their food is very good and it's very affordable Delivery is also fast They're family to me“
“Best Chinese food takeout in the LB-IP-Oceanside Area. Go to order: Pork soup dumplings (note: the cashier will clarify if you meant pork soup dumpling or dumpling soup. Yes, you do mean Pork Soup Dumpling), crab meat cheese wonton, pecking duck, eggplant with garlic sauce, and crispy shrimp w/ honey walnut“
“This is the kind of joint you gotta love. It's brisk, snappy, fast service putting out solid Chinese takeaway. Lunch special under $10? Great value. Really good hour and sour soup. It's gonna be rich in cornstarch, egg and tofu. Not overly hot or sour but full of flavor. Roast pork/shrimp options are where it's at. I just love walking into a joint, seeing people deciding to eat their order right there. It's a small space so it makes it feel loved when people are chowing down on soup, fried chicken and noodles on a cold day.“
“From the moment you walk into this place, you can feel the warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The food is absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from.“
“Asian Yummy House is the absolute best place for Chinese Food. Besides the food being clean, fresh, and not greasy like most Chinese places, the presentation is always nice and neat. The food looks delicious and taste very very good and high quality. And they give large portions.I ordered:Sesame Chicken w/rice: Delicious! A 10! The sauce was perfect.Chicken Lo Mein: Super delicious! A 10! Not dry like most places. And their Honey Fried Chicken wing are exceptional! Nice size Chicken wings and not over-cooked/hard like other Chinese restaurants.I do not live near Asian Yummy House. There are a host of other Chinese Restaurants near my house but none of them compare to this place and so it is worth the travel.I have a sophisticated palate and I have standards, so please take this review seriously. Hands down, this place is the best for Chinese Food.“
“If you like soy wings this is the spot. No frills here just a take out counter. I suggest order ahead. Timely order pickup, when you call they ask exactly how long you will be for pick up and honestly I've never had to wait . The pace is never empty but the workers are fast and friendly. It's a bit of a dive looking place but don't let that stop you from trying the soft fried soy wing- Yes it's not the harder texture of battered wings. Think more of a rotisserie type wing that has been quickly baptized in hot oil. We order party trays of wings and it's always a crowd pleaser. The fried rice is good too. We haven't had a lot of the other food items, we generally go for the wings. We actually call this placw Snyder Wings lol because it's located on Snyder and noted for wings . Cash only . Street parking if you're lucky and there's a bus that stops in front ( sorry I can't remember the number).“
“Delicious Peruvian Chinese fusion plus some typical Peruvian dishes. We stopped in on for lunch, and figured we'd try one of each. The fried wontons (wonton frito), were crispy and the spiced meat filling was unique and delicious, as was the sweet dipping sauce. The lomo saltado entree was luscious, tender beef, tomato and red onion flavored with cilantro (which I don't always love) in brown gravy over French fries and with white rice too. My husband soaked up every bit of leftover gravy with his rice. The owners are friendly, but speak mostly Spanish, so be prepared to point if you don't speak any. They were kind enough to gently correct my very rusty Espanol. The place is bright and clean, including the restroom. We'll be back.“
“BEST CHINESE FOOD IN LONG BEACH HANDS DOWN ! I've been coming here since I was a kid and they've NEVER messed up my order or took longer then 30 min to deliver. I recommend this place to all my friends when they come in to town. Anyone looking for good fast Chinese food this place is it ! Oh & I love the chicken wings.“
“I’ve ate at so many sushi places, but this one is like a hidden gem in queens. I always keep coming back to this one whenever I go with friends and family, because honestly a sushi place doesn’t get much better than this.- Never crowded- Food is fresh and high quality- Pricing is not super outrageous- Service is always attentive, and respectful- Very clean and nicely designed- Music is the restaurant is at a good volume, and it’s not too loud.If you’re ever craving some true and high quality Japanese food, and you’re near Myrtle Wyckoff, this is what you need ?“
“First time here, I came because of all of the reviews. Sincerely the food is great! I love chicken fried and it was delicious. Nice and crispy. My daughter ordered buffalo wings and it was also a success. Definitely recommended this place. Prices are affordable too?“
“The food is fresh, delicious, and amazing. The portion size is generous and the food is always hot. The workers are all respectful and always willing to help. I don’t get my food from anywhere else but New East Meets West Superb Chinese Food Howard Beach. Kudos to Lisa on running a great establishment! Keep it up.Parking: Free parking right up front. Can’t get better than that.“
“Delivery / take out experience: 5 stars for quality of food and how it arrives!! Food is well packaged and ventilated. Portions are perfect and ingredients are FRESH. I have ordered delivery from them about 10 times now. Will definitely order again.“
“Granda Panda has a delicious selection of food! I always get the boneless spare ribs with any rice ?but the secret is in the ICE TEAAA! Simply delicious.Vegetarian options: Ask them for their veg options they'll be more than happy to tell/show you!!“
“I ordered through DoorDash. Quart of sweet n sour chicken. Fried dumpling App. First the chicken was crunchy and not overly breaded. The batter did NOT taste greasy. Their was so much that they couldn't close the bucket! OUTSTANDING!The sauce was very tasty. The only thing missing was the cherry and pineapple chunk. The fried dumpling were delicious. The mystery meat inside was not off putting in anyway. The dipping sauce was not just a container of soy sauce but actual sauce with real ginger and other spices! And I got two! I hope this place doesn't tank. Best Chinese I have had in years.“
“The best Chinese restaurant here in Jamaica AVE. The lady who answered the phone was very friendly and always knew what you wanted. I ordered mix vegetables chicken in garlic sauce. The fresh garlic flavor was very strong and very fresh food. Recommend it!!!“
“Better than I was told it would be.Maybe because I ordered something different than a friend who had been there I like itVegetarian options: The second thing next to rice is vegetables. I'm sure you know that.Kid-friendliness: All kids love chicken wingsWheelchair accessibility: You're kidding right“
“We loved the freshness of the food. Everything tasted like it was made from scratch and not previously frozen. Egg rolls were full, not mush, and the crust was layered and crispy. The fried rice was lite, not oily. Vegetables were definitely fresh (not frozen), not fall-apart soft with the right amount sauce not drenching them. Chow fun was the one dish that didn’t taste as fresh. It was stuck together and looked like it had been chopped up instead of wide flat noodles. We called in our order for take out. They were quick and prices are reasonable. Would order again if we’re not trying to get chow fun with the order.“
“Ordered in last night and the food was really great. Honestly I don't know how they were able to deliver the soup dumplings so hot. Those usually don't travel well, but these were hot and light & delicious. Chicken and eggplant were also hot and fresh and tasty. Special fried rice, scallion pancake and dumplings in peanut sauce were great as well. The best part was no MSG as I often get a headache from that. Friendly delivery person as well!“
“Good food delicious everything food is so good service is good only thing is the restaurant could use a good redo it’s nice and clean but could be made to look better other then that the food is one of the BEST CHINESE for i ever had.Kid-friendliness: They are nice ??“
“I'm a snob when it comes to American Chinese food take out. Before a few months ago. I never tried Hardee's. My boyfriend insisted it was better than my usual spot. So I decided to give them a try. He was right. Now they are expensive. I've never paid less than $15 for any meal I've eaten. The chicken wings are great. Their Buffalo shrimp with broccoli got me in a chokehold. It's not your typical buffalo sauce. It's not really that spicy but it's savory with a hint of sweet and heat. I like it and they give you their version of bleu cheese. I do love that they give you 10 jumbo shrimp versus the 5 X-large you may typically get with a shrimp dish from Chinese takeout places. They're pretty quick and if you're a regular and creature of habit like my bf they know you by order and face. They need a reward system for all the money he's spent there. They accept card payments but they charge random fees and it's not worth it considering how expensive they already are. Bring cash.“
“The food is delicious here you can’t go wrong it’s the best Chinese food in the area the only thing is the store looks rundown so at first glance you would just say no. A lot of homeless linger in front of the store begging for Change. They need to stop them from doing that.“
“This is my old Chinese restaurant from the old neighborhood. One of the best in the valley stream area.Food taste fresh and good and the prices on par for today's climate.Good menu option from appetizers to main dishes, with even American fare of chicken wings with fries, etc.I especially love the rib tips with pork fried rice, which you can't get the further east on the long you go.I return here often as it beats the Chinese restaurant in my area.Parking is in a strip with other stores and can be dicey depending on the time of day.“
“Decent Japanese food at a good price. Delivers fast and free. The three roll lunch combo is great and same with their combo bento boxes. I’ve tried the eel, salmon, shrimp and tempura and keep coming back for more. For some reason hard to find decent priced tempura in this area but this place does it well.“
“Don't judge a book by its cover. That's what this restaurant is about it's a hole in a wall type of place, great to just carry out. Their chicken fried is amazing it so authentic the closest I would say to Hilton fried rice from Guyana iyky. We order their food on a weekly basis. Their maybe some local queens uncles by the bar, just let them be lol.“
“Hi! So I'll be honest, I had just moved to New York and the first place we went to did us so dirty. So when I saw East Garden I was very hesitant on going in but eventually decided to take a chance at fate, little did I know how much their General Tao's chicken with shrimp lo mein would change my life for the better.See I can't handle too-too much spice, so I was reluctant to get it but the aroma brought back memories of my grandparents eating the General Tao's chicken from back home and got it anyway.Once I saw it, I noticed it had just the right amount of sticky sauce, it was churchy but soft too (Which I loved) and from the moment I tasted it, I was immediately reminded of the times I had with my grandparents. Since I recently lost my grandmother, this moment made me burst into tears (Happy ones of course) when I had gotten home. It wasn't too spicy and had a tint of sweetness, an paired with the Shrimp Lo Mein turned out to be the right choice, The dish was very very Delicious. I do recommend this fine restaurant with all my heart, I hope you visit and enjoy these wonderful dishes.“
“Standard Chinese food restaurant. I do like their food because it is not overly seasoned. It’s not salty. I prefer this taste.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps to get in or out of the establishment. Two wide doors open out onto the sidewalk.“
