“This dive bar is simply the best. It is not a flashy, new concept type of bar. When I walked in, I had this bizarre, deja vu experience where it felt like home. It felt like I had already been there a thousand times before and everyone was an old friend. The drinks are cheap and they are served with love. Kinda wish I lived closer so I could visit all the time.“

“If I can remember, I always come here every friday night. Which is karaoke night. So, my review will be based on that specific night only.

Been there few times on friday night. Very busy night, very long line of karaoke, but the DJ did a veryyy good job. He remembers people's faces, like literally remember who requested what. His great memory amazed me and not to mention there is no pause or break. So, eventho its a long line of karaoke, but you will eventually singing.

Bartenders are great, drinks okay. Prices normal for the area, drink sometimes good, sometimes meh.

But yea, so far its been pretty amazing experience.“

“I went to Everdene Bar with friends on a late summer evening and loved it. The hostess, Guialem, greeted us with a big smile, and our waiter Dawn took great care of us. The cocktails were excellent. I especially enjoyed the vodka gimlet and a strawberry drink(I can’t remember the name). The terrace was amazing for the weather. My only feedback is I prefer adding the tip myself instead of having it included as a service fee. Overall, a great spot to enjoy with friends!“

“Would have rated the food but kitchen was closed. Shares space with the mushroom restaurant next door so ther can be the option of getting food from there and having it delivered to the bar m, but it depends on foot traffic. On the other hand, it’s probably easier to go to the restaurant next door and order beers from the bar here because it’s less of an overall stress on the staff. The beer list here is thoughtful and there are some very meat bottles on the bottle list. This spot deserves a place on any list of significant beer bars in Manhattan.“

“The service here is really the standout. Every single bartender is friendly, and there are always more than enough staff to help. It really shines through! They do samples, and small pours which is great.
As a beer snob, I really wish they had some better options though. With 12+ taps i find that only 4-5 are really something special with the rest being average at best. If they can up the options just a little it would be a 5 star bar.“

“First time here! My family and I (party of 13)came here foe dinner to celebrate my 50th birthday 🎂 and it didn’t disappoint! All the apps and i mean cause we ordered alot was excellent! Order the lamb chops, the hakka noodles, and the salt and pepper prawns they were excellent, oh and the lasooni gobi! Our entrees were excellent…do try the punjabi khadi and the fish curry! The service was excellent , the staff were attentive, polite and did not rush us. Do try this place each regional dish will take you on a flavor journey you didn’t expect but will love!“

“The Portuguese wine dinner. Food and wine excellent . Joao is a very nice and great human being but he talks very little about his wines and answers all questions as a true s'enfoutiste. From that standpoint it was a real disappointment, I learned nothing about the domaine, the soil, the wines, the vinification process. But overall it was a great dinner with great company unfortunately not what I came for.“

“Posting this in direct response to the last reviewer, George Hernandez. This is a family bar that is beloved in the neighborhood and has some of the best craft beer you’re gonna find. Craft beer that costs a fair amount of money for them to bring in. Giving you a sample of however many beers you want to try because you might have a beer you dislike costs them money for no other reason than you are afraid of drinking beer apparently. I don’t know what you do for a living but start doing ten percent of it for free, lmk how much you enjoy that.“

“On vacation as a joke, we searched for "the worst bar near me" which led us to this amazing little place. We had the absolute best food! The waitstaff was attentive, fun, and helpful. Prices & portions were fair. The whole vibe of the area was low-key & pleasant with the dog-friendly patio, next door local shops, and other patrons. “I live in Forest Hills and I’ve been to this place a few times in the last few months with some friends and let me tell you their beer doesn’t taste any better then a cheap beer or ale from the 99 cent store. I really don’t like to write bad reviews to businesses especially with the pandemic and how bars/ restaurants are struggling to make ends meet today, but I really have had it with this so called owner that was beyond rude to me after I stopped by and used the restroom. I have come as a customer a few times and really needed to make an emergency restroom stop. Since I had patronized his establishment before, I didn’t think it would be a big deal to quickly use the restroom. When I got out of the restroom the owner was very rude and nasty to me, telling me to never come back to his bar. I asked him why and he said because I wasn’t spending money and that my type shouldn’t be allowed to come to his place. I was appalled at his behavior and attitude and told him I will gladly not ever return.“

“We walked in, there were no tables in the restaurant but we were given a table in the bar area (which was completely fine and we appreciated it!).

It was very busy but the staff were amazing. They gave us recommendations on meals and also made drinks that weren’t on the menu.

We had the burger which was very nice and the fries were amazing.

The crispy potatoes and shishitos and also crispy prawns. Everything was amazing.

“If you appreciate fusion sushi, I highly recommend giving this establishment a try. Their all-you-can-eat sushi on Mondays is an excellent option for a refined dining experience. The ambiance was truly wonderful. I visited on a Monday evening with my family, including children, and everything was impeccable. Our server, Patria, provided exceptional service. I requested the Knicks game to be displayed on the television, and she promptly accommodated my request. My personal favorites among the sushi selections were the Volcano roll and the Mar Y Tierra.“

“Food was so authentic. It took me back to some of my favorite spots on St. Marks back when Japanese Restaurants were kind of hole in the wallish and actually owned and prepared by Japanese. Tonkatsu was super crispy and moist. Udon was clean with a true Japanese flavor not flavor packet garbage some restaurants are passing off these days. The curry udon was amazing. Chirashi was delicate, flavorful and fresh. Great staff. Loved it all. Will be back and soon.“

“My wife and I visited Handcraft Burgers and Brews for my birthday this past weekend. As soon as my wife opened the menu she knew that I was going to have to try the burger of the month which was a peanut butter and grape jelly topped hamburger with jalapenos, bacon and cheese. Admittedly I have never had peanut butter and jelly on a burger before but I figured I would try something new and see what all of the hype was about. Turns out, I loved it! Every bite was so flavorful and completely made my birthday lunch a worthwhile venture! We also tried the tater tots, because who doesn't love a good tater tot. We could have chosen from multiple dipping sauces but we decided to go with the garlic aioli and I am glad we did. I dipped each of my tater tots in the sauce and there was plenty for both of us to share. We were helped by Vanessa at the restaurant and she was very accommodating when I was having trouble using a coupon that I had for my birthday. All in all this was a wonderful choice for my birthday lunch and when we are in the area again I would definitely stop by and perhaps try the latest burger of the month along with some tater tots and garlic aioli dipping sauce of course!“
