“I was amazed by "squid rice with shrimp". It's cooked with squid ink. There is no fishy taste at all but all the goodie including red pepper, green pepper oinion, pea and of course squid and shrimp. The drink is amazing. Be careful, they are very very strong! Owners and servers are super friendly as well.“

“Ropa Vieja has definitely hit the spot, service is great but they need to invest in new speakers for the music it's so loud coming from the corner, but if speakers were spread out along the perimeter the great music could be played without giving you a migraine when you leave.

“What a gem. This cozy restaurant has everything I needed after a long day. The staff is friendly and polite. The space is comfortable - not too fancy and not too casual. Most importantly- the FOOD. The Salad Tropical was the most delicious salad I’ve had in my life - fresher than fresh with a unique and perfect blend of subtle flavors. I judge restaurants by their pork and the Lechon did not disappoint. Delicate flavorful seasoning complemented by tenderness. I will definitely remember this meal and recommend this place. Easily, I offer 5 stars.“

“I ate at this restaurant during my Christmas vacation visit to New York. It is fantastic! The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is so tasty. “Delicious dinner with great service & recommendations by our server, Justin. We really enjoyed the unique flavors of the Cuban Chinese fusion. Bonus that we arrived in time for their great happy hour. Enjoyed ropa veijas on tostones and Cuban sandwich egg rolls to start, followed by Bian Pao Salmon, Cuban Fried Rice, Ropa veijas noodles, and stir-fry cashew cauliflower. Topped it off with the best slice of tres leches we have ever had. Everyone loved all the items we ordered! Highly recommend!“

“We visited La Morra this past Saturday night and we really had a great time. The vibe and service was incredible, we also enjoyed the food (highly recommend the Tomahawk Steak for two) drinks and the live show. We will definitely return for another night out !

With constant changes on my end, the staff was always a phone call away, very courteous offering excellent advice to ensure the perfect feast. Oh and the food was amazing.“

“Great happy hour specials. Drink special are available at tables but the food specials are only available at the bar. Enjoyed empanadas, stuffed plantains, roast pork. The salad was just ok and could have been a bit better. We enjoyed conversing with Orlando, the bar tender.“

“A big shout out to my best latin place in Hoboken: Chango Kitchen. Traditional yummy latin dishes. Our faves are churrasco con chimichurri (skirt steakgrilled) and ropa vieja (shredded beef). My kids loved "alfajores with dulce de leche", "tres leches" and hot chocolate with when it's cold outside. Service is warm and friendly. We can visit the place multiple times and never get tired. #supportlocal“

“Great food and great service. The food reminds me of home and is reasonably priced. We keep coming back for the ox tail stew, ribs, beef steak, porkchops, dumplings and the boneless chicharonnes de pollo. Most meals are served with white or yellow rice and beans or vegetables. If you want to try something different, they have the beef liver and squid ink fried rice which remind me of squid ink Paella. The combination meals are a great option to try out different dishes. The staff and owners always greet you with a warm welcome.“

“This used to be one of my favorite spots to go to. I went a week ago, and the food was completely different and insanely overpriced. I ordered almost as soon as I came in and a couple that sat down 20 minutes after I did got their food ate it paid the check and left when my food was just arriving and I waited for over 20 minutes for one drink. The food is nothing like it used to be at all. $100 for two drinks and one meal is insane.“

“It's a small but charming little Cuban Cafe and Restaurant. Seating is limited to a cozy corner with a compact sofa and chairs. The coffee is delicious and Breakfast. The rest of the menu are fried delectable Latin meats like pork, fried plantain, longaniza etc... They also have options to order large trays, which is perfect for party's.“
