“Amazing place. So invited. You walk in and it feels like family. The staff, especially the owner, are all wonderful. I go there with my 1 year old daughter and always get the vegan Spinach pie. We randomly walked in on a Saturday afternoon celebrating our one week wedding anniversary. From the second we sat down, she was so knowledgeable and ready to provide suggestions and hear what we were looking for. Every dish she suggested was better than the previous. It's very obvious that this establishment cares about the finer details and showcasing the chef's exceptional knowledge and pallet . From the off-white colored table clothes to the delectable Luxardo cherries in the old fashion cocktails - this place is 10/10.

As Astoria natives, I can not recommend Il Nonno enough. Vibes are exquisite - perfect for a date night, or to grab a well balanced cocktail. Music playing- Olivia Dean, Khruangbin, lofi vibes. Absolutely a 10/10 experience from ambiance to service. The food and pear desert takes the cake as well. We've been around the block with restaurants in this neighborhood and i can confidently say we left ecstatic about the experience. Wish we took pictures of the main dishes but we were too excited to eat them!“

“I just discovered this amazing coffee place not long ago. I’ve been trying a lot of coffee spots in the area, and this one is honestly the best. Not just because of their quality coffee and tasty focaccias, but also because of how friendly everyone is. Gabriela and her sister are super sweet and skilled baristas—same with the owners and staff next door. They always check on you and make sure the place stays clean and homey. Highly recommend!“

“Had delivery a few times before and came tonight to eat in person with my wife and we loved it. It is a very tiny space but very nice. We split the stir fried bok Choi and the fried chicken mini dumplings. They were both good but the dumplings were especially great. She got chicken with broccoli and I got Mala chicken; both were also great. Finally, they gave us a free cucumber salad which was actually the best thing we had!

The staff were not very talkative but very nice!

“Great spot for Gelato Ice cream. We really enjoy the pistachio, biscoff, dulce de leche, and espresso ice cream. 🍦 I think this store is open all year long and even on cold days we will still come here and get a couple scoops of ice cream. Just a heads up the gelato ice cream is a little sweeter and richer than regular. However with that being said there is usually a higher price for that. Be prepare to spend around $10 for cone or cup. But I highly recommend 🍨🍧“

“New York City Bagel & Coffee House is a great spot with a couple of caveats. The bagels are truly exceptional — fresh, chewy, perfectly baked, and easily some of the best around. The service is consistently good too, with staff who are friendly and keep things moving smoothly even during busy hours.

The only downside is the coffee. Unfortunately, it tastes burned and doesn’t match the quality of the food. If they improved that, the experience would be close to perfect.

Overall, fantastic bagels and solid service make it worth a visit — just maybe skip the coffee.“

He’s there almost every day, always greeting customers with a warm smile and adding a personal, welcoming touch that makes you want to keep coming back. And YES, they have the famous CHOCO TACO everyone’s been raving about on TikTok! Just make sure to come early because they do sell out fast. Ice cream is great, service is even better.
