“LITTLE FLOWER IS THE BEST CAFE EVERRR! They are so much more than just a cafe though, it's more like a movement or way of life for me at this point LOL. I love their food, their activism, and how they show up for our neighborhood. I have tried various things on their menu and it is all my favorite LOL! I typically get a cold brew and some kind of food. My go to is their guava pancakes and egg sandwich. Their pastries are phenomenal too. You need to do yourself a favor and visit! The staff are the sweetest most genuine people on earth. I love our little chats. Ok this review is already so long-- ILY LF!“

“I had my birthday here such a great place to have any celebration, the food was amazing the wait time for the food was not too long, and The staff was friendly and willing to help making it special and enjoyable. The price was too high though that was the only thing that was the issue. But I recommend this place“

“I have used Nerwan for a couple of specialty cakes. Very talented, very accommodating, very delicious, and spot on service. This young entrepreneur went from working from home to a beautiful little location. It is a pleasure to contribute to her rise in this field, so give her a shot for your baking needs or just stop by and try her products you certainly will be pleasantly surprised and pleasantly satisfied.“

“*THE BEST COFFEE SPOT IN ASTORIA*
The staff is GREAT 5 star ?, nice ,talkative, knowledgeable about menu and extras. GREAT ENERGY overall. The main reason I keep coming back other than the Chagachino ?.
SPACE- IS 3 parts the front / people watch enjoy the breeze / Inside to smell the food cooking and over hear conversation while working/ The back with +++ seating there is an in depth floral setup ?.
I could keep going but check them out!
My order - Chagachino + expresso + caramel on cup + extra ice = a good day!“

“Amazing place. So invited. You walk in and it feels like family. The staff, especially the owner, are all wonderful. I go there with my 1 year old daughter and always get the vegan Spinach pie. OMG sooooo freaking good. I can eat so many of them but I restrict myself to one. Even my daughter loves it. She gets so happy when we stroll on into the cafe because she knows what that means. I hope to try other items but just can’t let go of that spinach pie. Ugh so good lol“

“Albeit Italian, this is a family-owned restaurant (the owners are Greek). The menu is comprised of mostly Italian dishes, with some inspired Greek dishes. A great neighborhood spot! Love it!“

“Being that this place just opened there was a wait to get in since the space is on the smaller side. Unfortunately they don’t take reservations, however they were able to accommodate our party of 5. We did overhear the party of 2 after us would have to wait 45 minutes, more or less, so timing is something to consider if you’re planning to come. Once we were seated, there was little to no wait being served water and complementary bread. We had questions about the wine and the waiter was really attentitive.
For appetizers we got the calamari and tuna tartare. Both were good but I’d definitely recommend the classic, calamari fritti. For entrees we got the fettuccine bolognese, porcini ravioli, and penne arrabbiata con salmone. The bolognese was a comforting classic with a big portion. The porcini ravioli was very creamy and flavorful, while the penne arrabbiata con salmone was very filling and as mentioned in the description, on the spicier side. Don’t forget to save room for dessert, the tiramisu was fluffy, airy and most importantly delicious.
Overall this place is good for classic pastas and a casual dinner. The only downside was that the bathroom was dirty, toilet paper on the floor, water all over, etc.“

“The arepa I ordered was delicious. I know it was Pabellón but it was beef, with sweet plantains, cheese and beans. The meat tasted delicious. The lady who helped me was very helpful and friendly. Fast service. The only thing I would recommend to the establishment is to find a way to not feel the smell of the bathroom so much. The rest was excellent.“

“My friends who live in Astoria took us (me & my cousin & her son) to this boba place. I had Brown Sugar Milk Tea w/ black pearl, and boy, I loved it esp the soft, chewy pearl! I highly recommend it!
PS: service could improve though. I guess the girl who served us had a long day already - she had this poker face and dealt with us like she wasn’t feeling well.“

“Three words: OATMILK DRAFT LATTES. Haha but seriously, have been looking for a cafe in Astoria that sells them ever since I left Brooklyn, and this is the only one I’ve found. Too good. Also nice baristas, relaxing environment with chill music that’s ideal for focusing, and plenty of outlets. Great place to get work done“

“Ordered relatively late night takeout (9pm) and it was really good and really cheap. We got the pastrami and chicken cutlet with brown gravy sandwiches. Together it all cost less than twenty dollars. The cutlet was fantastic; the pastrami was not up to same caliber as Katz’s, Sarge’s, David’s, Pastrami Queen, etc. but was totally fine—and it only cost like 8 dollars (not to mention that we live a block from this place). Will definitely eat again“

“I haven't tried their toilet yet. Maybe on my next visit. The baristas are welcoming and fortunately, one of them speaks English. Buy to get a toilet code.
Parking: I am not sure if there is a parking building nearby. But I don't see any.“

“Highly recommend NYB&CH for your bagel and schmear needs! They offer so many delicious bagels to choose from, and spreads and beverages to go with them! Including this stunning rainbow bagel 😍 which I promptly took home to devour… by the way the staff is very knowledgeable about what bagels are vegan (including this one!)! Don’t forget your iced latte (with my favorite, oat milk) to go!“

“Recently moved out of state but was back in town and had to make a stop. This was my go-to meal prep place which made packing lunch for work affordable and I knew it was able to fit into my meal plan. Always great taste, no matter what you get. Also the thicker than a snicker and Smurf’s up are my favorite smoothies. 🤤🤤🤤“

“I frequently visit this location since it’s conveniently located next to my apartment. All of the employees are very polite and seem excited to be working here. My only gripe is that the service can be bit slow at times in the evening. Hope the management/ownership can further train the young employees for more efficiency. Otherwise keep up the good job!“

“Anassa Taverna Astoria delivers a polished yet soulful Greek dining experience that feels both upscale and inviting. Visited on a Saturday evening with two friends, we were immediately struck by the warm lighting, marble accents, and the hum of a lively crowd. The open kitchen and attentive staff set the tone for a memorable meal.
Highlights:
• The grilled octopus was tender with a perfect char, complemented by capers and onions.
• Lamb chops were juicy and flavorful, served with roasted lemon potatoes.
• Lobster spaghetti featured a rich tomato sauce infused with ouzo and herbs.
Drawbacks:
• The restaurant can get noisy during peak hours; consider dining earlier for a quieter experience.
Insider Tip:
Don’t miss the complimentary revani cake at the end of your meal—a delightful semolina dessert soaked in honey syrup.“
