The horchata was also really good; it’s a sweet drink made with rice and cinnamon, and definitely worth trying. There was a line when we arrived, but it moved very quickly. They quickly welcomed us in with open arms and fresh hot coffee. It was one of the best brunches I've ever had, but what made it even more special was Joey the owner overheard our story, knowing we had a rough morning, and gifting us one of his comfort food cookbooks! Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. When I finally try that food I just got in shock. Super tasty, delicious, the Trinidad and Dominican Republic flavors- was so down the earth. So thankful to have them at the neighborhood, the service is excellent and Yesenia and her employees super professionals. The ambiance and decoration soo relaxing- I love the food and the service, how they welcome you, is hard to find a place like that.
