“The food and service was top notch at Gio’s! 10 stars! I asked for shrimp oreganata which wasn’t on the menu but they nailed it. Absolutely delicious. Had the antipasto and the Caesar salad. The most delicious unique Cesar salad I have ever had and who knew warm olives would be so delicious! I will definitely be going back! This spot is an amazing addition to AB! And Thank You to the staff for being so attentive and accommodating.“

“The environment is comfy and cozy when you walk into restaurant and they had host waiting for us to sit our table The food Was great, for me and my mom , and stepfather as we all ordered different things from meat to seafood, and pasta dishes. The one ravioli that had a little ice in it or cold which i take one star away from it. But other than everything was good. Also, the owner is very nice and came to talk to us to our table.“

“My wife and I really enjoyed the entire setting family style dinning. We both love eggplant very much the seasonings were not salty or spicy plenty of sauce stuffed with fresh ricotta cheese. All of what we could see were large entrees no fru fru at all. This is another local good place to dine in Floral Park.“

“I came here on 5/28/25 for dinner take out/pick up. I ordered their house/garden salad with grilled chicken, Gnocchi Bolognese, and it came with I believe it is possibly fresh ricotta cheese, which was really good, and it also came with some really good bread. I am a really big salad person and I did not really like the salad or the salad dressing that it came with. My opinion, I was not a fan of the field greens, the field greens did not smell/seem as fresh, compared to other salads that I order from other places. The pasta dish was ok/good but I was not a fan of this either. I was really a fan of the side of fresh ricotta cheese and the delicious bread it came with. It seemed to have a great atmosphere and many people were there eating when I came to pick my food up. The service was good and accurate. This review is simply just my personal opinion. “Meta always goes above and beyond for a fabulous dining experience. This past Sunday, I called to see if it was possible to bring in an Elvis impersonator for my Dad who is in remission from cancer. Not only was Roberto and his staff receptive to the idea, the whole restaurant was singing along with Elvis and all of us. This night was truly magical and I cannot thank Roberto and his staff enough for making my Dad’s dining experience so memorable. The food was amazing, the drinks were flowing and the dessert was delicious. If you haven’t tried Meta, I highly recommend this fine restaurant for a wonderful night 🎉“

Unlike many Italian restaurants that are stuck in an Italian food time warp their menu is an update of delicious Italian delicacies. Their choices are like eating in a restaurant in Italy. There is nothing I don’t like that I have ordered at Il Gufo. Service is wonderful I never feel rushed and love how they remove dirty dishes quickly. FYI great place for desserts and a cup of espresso.“

“One of the best Italian restaurants in Lynbrook or anywhere else. They use the freshest and highest quality ingredients and prepare the food exquisitely. I ordered takeout tonight for six people in my extended family and served it family style, and everyone was raving about the food. We ordered Scallops Oreganato, Shrimp Stuffed with Crabmeat, Chicken Francese, Zuppe di Clams White Sauces and a few appetizers and it was all superbly prepared. Several of us were from other towns and repeatedly asked me how to find this place so they could visit in the near future.“

“Excellent Italian in a very competitive restaurant scence in Rockville Center. Been there for decades and it is a local gem. The food is awesome but I do not like that they do not give pasta with an entree but rather give mashed potatoes. Pasta can be ordered ala carte. A little silly if you ask me but those are the rules. They close promply at 9pm and last order taken is at 830pm so be aware of that. Excellent wine list. Amarone choices are great.“
