She made sure that we were well taken care of in every way. All our dietary restriction were met. The Owner, Dennis was very nice and accommodating from day one. He made sure we had a great time. “Perfect little neighborhood gyro shop. We are frequent customers. Very residential area, quiet and relaxed. The food is great, it always tastes very fresh. Large portions. Our usual waitress Violetta is attentive, friendly, and wonderful. We live a block away and they are good neighbors and a wonderful addition to the community. Only drawback when visiting is that parking can be a challenge.“

“Gyro Village in Floral Park is truly a neighborhood gem. I’ve been here so many times, and it never disappoints. I almost always order the chicken gyro, and it’s consistently fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The portions are generous, and you can tell they really care about the quality of their food.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with clean tables and a nice view of the charming Floral Park streets if you’re dining in. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy your meal, and watch the world go by — especially if you grab one of the window tables.

What makes Gyro Village stand out even more is the friendly service. The staff always greet you with a smile and make you feel like a valued regular, even if it’s your first visit.

If you’re in the area and craving a delicious gyro or just want a clean, friendly spot for lunch or dinner, I can’t recommend Gyro Village enough. It’s hands down one of my favorite local spots.“

Only thing I would change is to add oragano salt and pepper to the gyros and don't blend the tzatziki makes it a bit pasty in texture but flavor was 7/10. The baklava less refrigerated time and more syrup not leaving the tops so dry. Would visit again.“

The service was phenomenal as was the foo, from the appetizers to the dessert. We ordered the Agean special. The watermelon salad was one of my favorites! We are New yorkers who moved to Florida 13 yrs ago and we are in for the Christmas holidays. I highly recommend this restaurant. We always enjoy their authentic, delicious Greek specialties and recently, they outdid themselves with a PTA Staff Appreciation Lunch at Oceanside Middle School. “Came here on a weekday after work. There were many takeout orders going out the door while we dined. We started off with their grilled octopus, which was one of the best I have eaten in a long time. For the main dish, we ordered the mixed grill platter for 2, which came with a side of lemon potatoes. Honestly, that was enough people to feed more than 2. Everything tasted great. The tzatziki sauce and lemon potatoes sauce were great for dipping. We ordered an orange and lemon greek soda for that all-out authentic greek dining experience.“

“Just about everything is good here. The only thing I cannot recommend is the lemon chicken rice soup, which to my taste has too much lemon - but that’s only one person’s opinion. The lunch rush is just that - a lunch RUSH; the place is extremely crowded on weekdays from about 12 noon to 1:30. But if you’re willing to wait you won’t regret it.“

“About an hour ago I ordered food from B Greek kitchen in Lynbrook. You could go read my review on their page for how horrible that experience was. That being said I ended up canceling it and ordering from this place whose name I can’t even pronounce. Let me tell you something the food was ready in 10 minutes more delicious than I ever could’ve imagined and service was super friendly. I will 100% be back. Especially considering the time the other place was taking to make my food was longer than the drive to this one and back.“

I stopped by this souvlaki spot in Howard Beach right before closing, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. Even though I arrived just 15 minutes before they were about to close, John served me with a smile and made me feel completely welcome. My order came out super fast, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.

It’s rare to find places that maintain such high quality and great service so close to closing time. Big thanks to John for going above and beyond—I’ll definitely be back again soon. Highly recommend if you’re craving great Greek food!“
