“My daughter graduated college and this was her choice for a family dinner after such a long day! Such an amazing experience. From the second we arrived until we left service was excellent. Thai food was delicious and the cocktails were unique and highly recommended. We had a decent size party and they accommodated us comfortably and every one of us enjoyed our meals.“

“Shows let out late, and finding a place that's still serving quality food after 10 PM is a challenge. This place not only stays open, but the kitchen is clearly still operating at full capacity. We rolled in after curtain call, still buzzing from the performance, and they seated us warmly despite the late hour. The food was just as good as it would be at prime time—fresh, hot, thoughtfully prepared. They even recommended a nightcap that extended the evening beautifully. For theatergoers and night owls, this is your spot. Curtain up, then dinner here.“

“My wife and I love this place. Usually get take out but dined in recently and absolutely loved it. We started with their Appetizer Combo that includes curry puffs, crab rangoons, chive pancakes and spring rolls, then had spicy Chicken Pad Thai and Basil Fried Rice with Chicken. Everything is fresh and packed with flavor, which pairs well with their Thai Iced Teas. The owner/cook/server extraordinaire is super sweet too! Would highly recommend!“

“Really afraid to tell everyone about this place since after one visit, you're gonna need to come back. Yeah, it's that worth it. They'll blow up and raise their prices 😁😁 ..but seriously, if you wanna go somewhere that's clean, not too expensive and enjoy good quality food, then this is definitely the place to come to. Especially if you love Thai like I do and an occasional spicy meal.“

-Moo ka ta a Thai pork hot pot.
-Papaya salad with tiny blue crab
-Suea rong hai a really flavorful sliced beef dish with origins in Northern Thailand
-Beef tartare from the issan region of Thailand.
The owner and the staff were super nice.
Check out Tea Cup for unique Thai flavors and don't skip on their drinks like the coconut milk with butterfly pea and shaved ice dessert.“

“It's a little too dark during dinner hours. But the food is so good.
Fried tofu : amazing sauce!
Puff pastry : amazing puff and sauce!
Chicken fried rice : tasty
Pad see ew beef : one of the best one so far, I wish they charred it more for more smokey flavor. But over all is so good!
Menu is not that much option, but they serve amazing Thai food.“

“Who would have thought you’d get such raw, authentic Thai food in Queens, NYC?
This is real Thai cuisine — not toned down to suit foreign or Western taste buds. Even compared to the Thai food back home in Singapore, this felt far more unapologetic and true to its roots. From the bold spices to dishes like sour bamboo shoot fish, every bite genuinely transported me straight to Thailand.
Food was freshly prepared and tasted fantastic. Portions were generous, and prices were more than fair — three dishes with rice for about $16.
A must-visit if you love authentic Thai food.
Skip it if you’re here for Pad Thai with a special request for zero spice.
8.5/10 from me. 🌶️🇹🇭“

“I’ve been to this restaurant twice. The first time, I tried the Hainanese chicken rice. As a big fan of the dish, I’d say they did a really good job. The rice texture is a bit different—in a good way—and you can really taste the ginger.
The second time, I tried their khao mok gai (Thai chicken biryani). It was so good—honestly, it tasted just like the version I’ve had in Thailand. I also love their condiments.
Overall, I’m giving them 4 stars. The staff are friendly, too. It can get packed, especially when groups of tourists come in to buy Thai desserts, so please be patient.“

“Other Thai restaurants should take some notes.
The size of my pineapple fried rice is mind blowing. I don't think I have ever seen this much chicken or pineapple in a pineapple fried rice.
And it taste amazing.“

“My grandma and I always go here and get pad Thai with mock duck. The food is heavenly! Anything good you could say about the food is true! The duck is crispy on the outside and buttery melt-in-your-mouth on the inside, and the flavor of the sauce is just incredible! The glass noodles are light and have a perfect texture. The regular noodles are filling and also perfect. Oh- and the peanut sauce that comes with the salad is the best peanut sauce you could ever imagine! It’s so addicting, and has a tad kick to it (I think you can only get that at lunch though). My grandma and I only ate there in person a couple times, but the service was great, considering how crowded the restaurant always is (I think the fact that it’s always stuffed to the brim is a sign of a good restaurant :). They had good vibes and a really chill aesthetic. We always get the food delivered, and it comes in a really short amount of time. My grandma also loves this food; we get food that’s not spicy, because we are both sensitive to spice (but if you like spice, they have dishes with that too). I wanted to think of something I didn’t like here, but I can’t! All in all, eat here!! (Also, hack for more duck; when asking for extra mock duck, ask for it in a separate container; that way you can see just how much you’re getting, and they can’t skimp! The logic behind this is when there’s an already full container full of food, you can’t add that much more duck; so when you have a separate container, they can fill it all the way up!)“

“Amazing Thai food! Every dish was full of authentic flavor, and the spice level was just right. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food came out quickly even during busy hours. Highly recommend the pad thai and green curry—both were outstanding. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“We originally ordered this place for take out and ended up choosing to eat inside instead of what a great decision. Everything about this place is perfect, the food, the decor, the music. I love it when places have relaxing music in the background so you feel relaxed while eating not always turned up. Service is great and the food is so delicious. Highly recommend“

“I was in route to another Thai restaurant and came across this place first and then I decided to make a U-turn and go in and get some drunken noodles.
The place was so beautiful and the staff was so friendly and welcoming I also love the atmosphere and ambience it has a dine in option,
However I just came in for takeout.
The food is made to order and they ask what level of spice would you like. Which is what I love the most,
The portions are great enough to feed 2/ people,
I also like the fact that they make everything fresh and it doesn’t take long for the food to be cooked.
I was so impressed with this restaurant that I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANY TIME OF THE DAY!!!!
I ordered the chicken drunken noodles and I had them before from California to all over NYC and this place reigns supreme.
Give them a try and thank me later!!
This is my new favorite gem.
Gonna be back sooner than later.“

“I order from Thai Social through Uber Eats, and every order has been packaged really well. Anytime I needed customizations, I either called or left notes and they handled it smoothly without extra charges. I have spent a little over $200 with them so far and they have been consistently solid. If you are thinking about ordering, I can confidently say they do a great job, especially with packaging and attention to detail.
Called and shared my positive feedback with Tammy the manager“

“Chao Thai is a true hidden gem. It's the kind of low-key spot that makes you love New York. The food is clean, authentic, and the best. The spicy papaya salad (som tum) is the best I've ever tasted, and the jungle and green curries are addictively good. The pineapple duck is divine (according to my partner, he loves it). It's a genuine Thai restaurant that makes you feel like a guest in someone's home. It's just the best food, highly recommend!“

“We dined in for lunch and the food was amazing. This lunch special came with so much food and was such a great deal! We separately ordered the shrimp sashimi, soft shell crab with bean thread noodles, and basil frogs. All of those dishes were tasty and fresh! Their new location feels fresh and seems very airy. The door was open since it was a nice day, but it was pretty noisy with the traffic and 7 train passing by.“

My takeaways: Incredibly nice staff, very affordable dinner (I had chicken pad thai which was just $12.95), amazing mango sticky rice, and very clean! Bonus: Parking lot in the back and the atmosphere inside is just really cozy - the decorations are so cute. I am definitely coming here again!“

“I’ve been here twice now and the food truly tastes like authentic Northern Thai cuisine—rich, soulful, and full of depth. The Khao Soi is the absolute standout - deeply flavorful, perfectly spiced, and pure comfort in a bowl. Add in the cool, relaxed ambiance and this place is an easy repeat for me.“

“Authentic Thai restaurant in Bushwick. With nyc being saturated with upscale expensive Thai restaurants, Golden Thai offers affordable prices and cozy atmosphere that has its own character. really good lunch special deals too!
We ordered duck noodle soup (15$), drunken noodles (11$), fried fish cake (half eaten) - all delicious and on par with the expensive Thai food I’ve had in NYC, except much more affordable. Recommend!“

“So I have been craving for authentic Thai food for a very long time and one cold evening after a long day at work I was checking out Thai restaurants near me and voila I came across Chill D taste Thai. It was low-key hiding in plain sight all this time.
We ordered Tom Kha Kai chicken Soup, beef green curry which comes with white rice on the side, pad Thai, spicy basil chicken fried rice and not to forget the mango sticky rice. All of the dishes were mouthwatering and exactly tasted like what I've been craving for so long.
Definitely going back!
P.S. Service was friendly and very prompt as well.“

“This is the best Thai in the Ridgewood-ish area. Even the pad Thai is flavorful! The green curry is fantastic as is the wonton soup .
I’ve only ordered takeout, once through uber eats and once through their website, and you might as well just order through their website as it’s cheaper and all deliveries are made by their in-house staff anyhow, which is very fast.
It’s a little pricey but Thai food has become expensive almost everywhere these days.
Can’t recommend Ma Kin enough.“
