“My daughter graduated college and this was her choice for a family dinner after such a long day! Such an amazing experience. From the second we arrived until we left service was excellent. Thai food was delicious and the cocktails were unique and highly recommended. We had a decent size party and they accommodated us comfortably and every one of us enjoyed our meals.“

“Got takeout recently. Food was very good. We had pork jowls, crab Rangoon, curry puff, papaya salad. Drunken noodles with chicken. All very good. If you’re unfamiliar the pork jowls are leaner than pork belly. Very tasty. Would order again. Recommend. Well packaged for delivery.“

“I came on a Saturday for lunch with a friend and there was no wait. I was surprised at the quality and variety considering this is $40 Ayce. My favorite was the Tom Yom soup, steamed eggs, spicy beef and the mango sticky rice! My only complaint is that 90 minute is short between the time you take to choose your food and grill it. At the end you can get a gatcha (1 per table). We got a free mouthwash which was pretty random Overall I am definitely planning to come back and take friends here!“

“Erawan is my favorite Thai restaurant. Absolutely beautiful; like you are in Thailand. The food is amazing. My favorite is red curry tofu with brown rice. The best red curry coconut milk sauce. The salad is fresh with an orange-carrot dressing. The interior design is very chic; a combination of orange-yellow, bronze and Tiffany egg blue. Relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere.“

“Had the pad thai, chicken and basil and curry. All on point at a reasonable price. $15-20 per person with decent serving size for a lunch special. Owners so pleasant makes you want to keep coming back. Must have if you’re in the mood for thai food in the ditmars/ queens area.“

“The cuisine here is packed with flavor. They did not hold back on the authenticity at all. The dishes are full of spices, if you like heat, try the Southern Jungle Curry. I enjoyed all the dishes here, the fish, shrimp, curries. The workers are very friendly.“

“This is literally the best Thai food spot in Queen's. From the service to the food and atmosphere. I love introducing my friends to this place. The Massaman Curry and Tom Kha soup are my go-to's. With a side of Thai iced tea! It's perfect :)“

“I ordered takeout from Khao Nom and the order was ready relatively quickly (10-15 minutes).
🍗 BBQ Chicken: I feel like the skin could have been a lil bit crispier but the chicken tasted good. Dip it in the spicy roasted rice sauce (this is what they called it) and you’ll get a lil spice that is light and a great complement to the chicken and rice.
🍰 Thai Pandan Layer: I’m gonna be honestly, the pandan flavor was there but for some reason, it felt a bit artificial. Perhaps it was the jelly itself, I’m not sure. But they were soft and slightly chewy - easily melts in your mouth with just a couple bites.“

“Very nice restaurant, excellent food, loved the Roti and the salad, we tried the pork and the duck and they were great. Place is modest and deserves a good clientele. They went out of their way to make us feel at home, reserved parking for us.“

“Zaab Zaab is one of the best Thai restaurants in NYC. I love the larb ped udon, the kapow, the crab fried rice, the tom sum gai hot pot, the mieng pla pow fish. There's great spice and authenticity here. And the atmosphere is super cute and inviting. Best of all, the owners do so much for the community; they're heavily involved in local food relief efforts and are always giving back. It's a place you can feel good about supporting!“

“Ambiance and service were great. We ordered a Thai Pink Milk smoothie, Hoy Jor, Crispy Pork, Leng Zap, and Crab Noodle. Nice little Thai spot in Woodside/Jackson Heights serving some very authentic dishes.
Hoy Jor - Deep fried pork and crab meat in a tofu skin. Really enjoyed this since it was very tender and packed with a decent amount of crab meat. Dipping sauce was a little sweet and tangy.
Crispy Pork - Super crispy, crunchy pork belly. Dipping sauce was salty, tangy/sour. Great appetizer as well.
Leng Zap - Pork bone soup. A literal mountain of tender pork spine in a very flavorful soup. We got ours with mild spice and it still had a kick to it so be mindful of Thai spiciness! The soup is very sour and bold in flavor. They give you some plastic gloves to help with pulling apart the meat and there is definitely plenty of meat. Extremely tender and fall of the both. Some parts you have to really dig out but worth it. Feeds 2-3 people for sure.
Crab noodle - Noodles with chunks of crab meat, seasoning, peanuts, boy choy, bean sprouts, and a lime. Mix together to get a nice noodle with light crab flavoring, very nice dish as well.
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, located on ground level.“

“I’m a fan of this corner cafe. It’s right in the heart of Little Thailand and they have sweet and savory dishes to try. I had Thai hotpot for the first time here and it was much different than the hotpot I’m used to eating, but I liked it. It was much more intense in flavor with more notes of acidity. They also have an amazing duck noodle soup and the boat noodles that I’d recommend. The dessert option is great too, I didn’t know what to expect from the Rooty Tooty but it was perfectly sweet. The staff here were super nice as well, we definitely felt welcomed here!“

“Ordered the lunch special set--the veggie spring rolls, chicken Pad Thai, and Thai iced milk tea hit the spot. The food was really good as any good Thai place is, so I got what I expected. The milk tea was a bit on the sweet side, but lately, a lot of things have been getting too sweet for me.
Anyway, the restaurant is not a dimly lit restaurant vibe. It's more like a to-go place with places to sit if you need to. But I wanted to eat good Thai food, not look for a nice atmosphere, so I'm a happy customer.
A notable part of my visit was the customer service. I was greeted by a man who knows how to make the customer feel welcome.“

“A great local spot. Love being close enough to enjoy this restaurant. The staff/owners are super welcoming and make you feel like you are coming into their home. (They often have amazing incense burning that adds to a super warm and relaxing atmosphere.) When our stove was out, we dined here every night for a week. Everything I have had so far was more than a delight. Incredible Fish Fritters, Calamar, Pad See Eiw*, Chicken Basil Fried Rice (perfect amount of spice for me...lovely fresh red hot peppers), Pad Ma Muang*, and great cocktails. Love going to Happy Hour, and Martini Mondays. It is often a little too easy to have a wonderful meal, then when it's over move to the bar and enjoy another cocktail.“

“Dear fellow food lovers, if you're searching for a delightful dinner idea for four, I’ve got the perfect recommendation for you! Picture a menu featuring Pork Pad See Ew, a comforting Squid Tom Yum Clear Soup, and refreshing Yum Woon Sen. For a bit of adventure, try the Grilled Chicken Liver and the Yum Nam Khao Tod, which is sure to impress. Don't forget the Krapow Moo Krob to round out your feast! Just a small request: please let the server know to prepare everything no sugar and MSG. To complement your meal, I suggest a special Coconut Smoothie, served without any sweetness. And remember, all the servers are wonderful, so let’s be sure to treat them with kindness and respect! Enjoy your culinary experience!“

“Today, I ordered takeout food for the first time from this place. I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the restaurant. Very clean, and cute looking; love the decor. A nice upgrade from the prior restaurant that was there. This place has been in business for 1 year. I’m surprised we’ve never tried their food before. The food was delicious. My husband who works from home will be walking here for lunch. We plan on dining in one day soon so that I can post pictures of their wonderful food! #foodie“

“My grandma and I always go here and get pad Thai with mock duck. The food is heavenly! Anything good you could say about the food is true! The duck is crispy on the outside and buttery melt-in-your-mouth on the inside, and the flavor of the sauce is just incredible! The glass noodles are light and have a perfect texture. The regular noodles are filling and also perfect. Oh- and the peanut sauce that comes with the salad is the best peanut sauce you could ever imagine! It’s so addicting, and has a tad kick to it (I think you can only get that at lunch though). My grandma and I only ate there in person a couple times, but the service was great, considering how crowded the restaurant always is (I think the fact that it’s always stuffed to the brim is a sign of a good restaurant :). They had good vibes and a really chill aesthetic. We always get the food delivered, and it comes in a really short amount of time. My grandma also loves this food; we get food that’s not spicy, because we are both sensitive to spice (but if you like spice, they have dishes with that too). I wanted to think of something I didn’t like here, but I can’t! All in all, eat here!! (Also, hack for more duck; when asking for extra mock duck, ask for it in a separate container; that way you can see just how much you’re getting, and they can’t skimp! The logic behind this is when there’s an already full container full of food, you can’t add that much more duck; so when you have a separate container, they can fill it all the way up!)“

“I have been ordering from here for years and it’s always consistently good and the prices are even better. The lunch deal is phenomenal, I would order it often when I worked in the area. Dining in is great as well. It’s very much a hole in the wall place but they keep it clean and modern (and very cold, you may need a sweater).
It’s nothing fancy, delivery people are in and out and there’s only ever one server handling everything. But the food is on point. The thai teas are some of the best I’ve ever had. The duck curry is great and even the average dishes like the pad thai and green curry are well done.
This isn’t a place that will win any Michelin stars or be lauded in the next issue of Food & Wine, but when you’re craving some simple thai, Tasty Thai is the place to go.“

“The Shrimp Tom Yum is very good. They give a good portion of shrimp and loads of mixed vegetables in the quart size. Other Thai restaurants I've been to give a lot fewer shrimp and maybe a few sliced mushrooms, cilantro, green and/
or yellow onion slices and not more in a quart size. The Ginger Beef is very tasty, and I'm told the Pad Thai is good. One complaint is the salmon should be grilled or lightly sauteed in Thai seasoning before being incorporated into the fried rice. Whole filet would work, however cut into smaller sections or large cubes would be easier to handle on your fork.
Take service was reasonable and the atmosphere is not bad few a small take out restaurant style restaurant with a few tables. There were approximately a company of 7-8 people eating family style when I was there last.
'I believe they had a pretty selective menu with specials that change and the prices are reasonable“

“The best Thai in all of New York City, hands down. I've been coming here since they've opened and am never let down. Service is always great. The nicest people work here and in the kitchen.
Try the spicy basil duck, tiny crispy prawns, crispy pork with Chinese broccoli, and the tom ka gai(lime-coconut milk soup with chicken and mushrooms) for some of my recommendations. Don't forget to order medium spicy level or you'll be hit with the real intense spice of Thailand.
Only issue is that they only accept cash. Otherwise, it's one of the BEST hole in the wall neighborhood spots with amazing flavors. The menu is so vast that it will keep you coming back for more.“

“This restaurant is a gem at the Tangram food court serving authentic Thai cuisine! The place is small, but they clearly displayed their effort to create a nice dining atmosphere with decor and lighting.
I’ve been here many times and tried many items on the menu. Food was flavourful with a good amount of spices.
Here’s what I really like and ordered many times!
- Kapow over rice
- Thai fried rice with extra egg
- Pad Thai
- Drunken Noodle“

“Warm atmosphere and consistent. It’s a staple of this neighborhood and serves meals quickly and deliciously. Try the Thai iced tea. Chicken satay and spring rolls. Can’t go wrong with the pad Thai or pad see ew but their entrees like pad Prik king (protein with string beans and lime leaf) and the “crying tiger” steak or pineapple duck specials can’t be missed. They go as spicy as you would like.
Is it the best Thai in the world… NO. It is an amazing choice for our area and for folks who want a quick and satisfying meal.“

“Eim Khao Mun Kai is a fantastic spot for Hainan chicken rice! I ordered the steamed chicken over Hainan rice along with a Thai iced tea, and everything tasted amazing. The chicken was tender, well-seasoned, and paired perfectly with the fragrant, flavorful rice. It's a simple yet nutritious meal that truly satisfies.
The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The Thai iced tea was the perfect refreshing complement to the meal. If you're craving a delicious, wholesome dish with great service, Eim Khao Mun Kai is definitely worth a visit!“
