“My family and I went to Truck for the second time with some of our relatives, and we loved it just as much as the first visit. The food was amazing, so filling but still so delicious! I ordered three tacos: fish, pork, and chicken. Even though I was full after the first one, they were so good that I couldn’t stop and ended up finishing all three! Therefore, I’d recommend not ordering too much at once. For dessert, we pretty much shared everything on the menu, and I loved every single one! There was even a chocolate dessert—which I usually don’t like—and I ended up loving it too. The service was excellent; our waitress was super friendly, greeted us warmly, and kept checking in to make sure we were enjoying everything! The atmosphere made it all even better: casual, lively, and perfect for a fun family dinner.“

“Im not sure I have had duck this good before. Perfect new England style savory meat with Swiss chard and carrots snd i believe a balsamic style reduction. Amazing.

The bedford iced tea was a really great cocktail also. Enjoyed it more than the cucumber martini which was also good.

Cocktail prices a tad high, but for a well crafted cocktail it was about right. Food prices also in line with what you get around here.

I didn't have beer but they had a well curated list of craft beer too from high quality and well regarded localish breweries.

Fried oysters and deviled eggs appetizer was delicious.

Small place, packed full, no reservations but we were seating in decent time despite how full they were for a Friday night.

“My boyfriend and I went to this place for dinner. I have to say we had one of the most delicious meals ever. We started with the Tuna Carpaccio and a dozen Oysters on the half shell. The Tuna was beautifully presented and delicious as were the Oysters. We had huge hot popovers served with a honey butter which were mouthwatering. We also tried the Crab Cake which was one of the best I have ever had. The Crab was fresh, and the tarter sauce was very light and didn't over power the Crab, For dinner we decided on the Roasted Chicken with watercress and the Butter Brown Spinach Ravioli. They were both amazing and the presentation was absolutely exquisite down to the garlic shaves on top of the watercress. For dessert my boyfriend had the Chocolate Sorbet and I enjoyed the Toasted Almond Ice cream as well as the fresh baked cookies with milk. I couldn't have asked for a better ending to the meal. The Ice Cream and Sorbet were delicious and the freshly baked warm cookies with milk were scrumptious. Everything was homemade and you can tell how much love goes into the food here. The server we had Mae was friendly, smiling all the time, very attentive and made our time there so nice. A special thank you also to Kerri Casso who is the Service Manager there. I know her from her previous job and Kerri is the reason we tried this place. She checked on us several times and made sure we were happy. Thank you to Mae, Kerri, Sunny and everyone there who made our meal enjoyable. We can't wait to come back!“

“I "cried" when my fave VEGAN or VEGETARIAN "GO-to" eat-in place closed all their locations around Boston. That was sadly & formerly GrainMaker .. (gone now) However DiG has grown on me as their deFACTO replacement for all FRESH VEGGIES and otherwise ALL FRESH MEAL VEGAN or VEGETERIAN eats and eat-in place! This is becoming my greatly reccomended "hidden vegan and veggie gem" in Boston with LOTS of locations. They have 3 locations thus far in Boston and 2 in Cambridge. I hav ONLY visited their downtown location thus far! Just as formerly with GrainMaker, DiG is as close to authentic home cooked! & genuinely HEALTHY! AND fresh meals that you can get to. Always fresh veggies, steamed & otherwise. --(they also serve a variety of proteins, as in variety of meats and fish, but i stay vegan. I have NEVER tried any of their meats or fish here.. ONLY their veggies and seasoned TOFU on occasion.. more oft than not, i do not even get their TOFU as a protein and opt to feast on JUST their steamed or boiled or baked veggies, bases. like rice and excellent mixed veggie salads sides!) Have been frequenting it for about 2 years since 2023 now, but held off on reviewing it until i was SURE of my experiences here. Decided to review it today bcs "it's time". I spoke to the very customer service oriented and responsibve supervisor here at this location, his name is DiJuan and was served by Adonis today and he was also very accommodating (after i explained i eat vegan) and on showing me my MANY fresh veggie choices, bases, proteins (including delish prepared Tofu) and PLENTY of heavenly veggie sides, all preped like you'd expect to find in a Thanksgiving grand day family meal. (AND they do this EVERY DAY!! ) This is HEALTHY eats and quite tasty and delish! See my posted pic w this review of my choice of eats today. In short, just today, i started with very little brown rice as my base and added 2 types of their fresh salad, Cannellini Beans w dill & greens along with their steamed or boiled Kale greens and added also a sweet potato that had been steamed & also steamed brocolli. I LUV eating fresh, healthy, TASTY and "homemade style" (as in NOT processed!!). I added their Garlic dressing to top it off. It came to something like 10+ bucks (B4 tax)! Unheard of !! for a BIG & FULLY portioned full veggie plate like this! BIG PORTION of a FULL PLATE! -- i declined, as usual to get any protein with my meal today, is why, STiLL i got a HUGE portioned plate! ( I normally HAVE2 order 2 - 3 separate orders and combine them, at HoneyGrow, anuther fave local "vegan" franchise in Boston, in order to get filled up if i'm only eating OMAD, as in One-meal-a-Day, in order to get full elsewhere usually!). They have a FAMILY (feeds4) option after 3pm every day that feeds 4-5 people (adults not kids) for like $43. QUITE A BARGAIN for something like this. AND it look like a Thankgiving day meal to top it off! --(formerly anuther non-vegan place "had this", now gone, called Boston Market. However they LOADED their side protions and even base meal with SO MUCH SALT, yuck! so that was ALL you could taste. THEY supposedly made home made, but found out NOT SO!!, theirs was loaded with processed sh*t, like their supposedly home-made mashed potatoes were the powder kind, loaded with pseudo milk and SALT, YUCK!!) NOT SO ! with this place.. DiG is 180 degrees fr tht.. This is truly GREAT tasting REAL and "home-prepped" veggies. They are winning me over from my other 2 "go-to's" "vegan-ish" franchises in Boston whcih have steadily been declining for various reasons, those being Bon-Me (their employees, over at Bon-Me for last 2-3 years it seems at ALL locations i have tried, simply do not undertsand nor speak english for the most part, their food WEN i can get it ordered the way i want it, is generally good, oft times its taken over 2 returned plates in order to get it prepared the way i orderd it.. v“

“A great local spot for a night out with friends or a date night. The cocktails are absolutely delicious - the pear martini and the espresso martini were both to die for. The menu has plenty of shareable plates, which makes it perfect for trying a little bit of everything.

It can get busy, so I definitely recommend making a reservation, but even when it’s packed, the staff does a great job of fitting you in. Overall, an excellent choice for a fun, flavorful night out!“

“Randomly found ourselves in the Barley House while on a weekend get away. The place is beautifully decorated and the design of the bar, lighting, etc was very impressive. We had some house mixed drinks, followed by some cold drafts. The food was served with great timing and was absolutely delicious. The price of wings were a little higher than anywhere else, BUT they were absolutely delicious.“

By the way I love the chandeliers. We sat upstairs - very nice area. Plenty of people eating here. The food and drinks I may add is very delicious. I had salmon and white wine and sangria. While the chicken sandwich was satisfactory, personal preference might favor chicken breast over thighs. “Alright folks this is a diner. Americana level stuff that I take any of my international friends to experience part of the American dream whenever they’re in country here.

They have a massive menu and always speedy service. Don’t be afraid to wait. During peak times you and still get a table within 20 minutes or so.

I’d say it isn’t really the cheapest diner option - they know what they’ve got (lol). But you will leave satisfied and portions are humongous.

I recommend trying the onion rings with any of the wraps/sandwiches.

All of the dishes are excellent, and don’t be afraid to hit the classics.

“We had a wonderful 50th anniversary celebration at The Kittle House Inn on Saturday, October 11th.

We worked with Katina Rodriguez at the venue to plan the event. The venue has been recently renovated and it is just beautiful; a lovely upscale venue with gorgeous light and windows that give such pretty views.

The food was fabulous, the bartender was great with the guests, our maitre d was very attentive and the valet guys were friendly and so helpful with our guests.

I would highly recommend this venue for any special event.“
