“I was traveling for business in the area. My Brisket Sandwich was wonderful. Staff and owner were great. Place was clean. One suggestion season the Mac and Cheese, it just a little bland. I did not ask for extra sauce to season anything. But great place. Very tasty food and your outdoor smoking area is one of the best. Hope this place stays open and I will be back again.”

“This restaurant was a huge surprise and our favorite in Lake Placid!! Highly recommend reservations because the indoor dining area is very small with limited seating options. They also have an outdoor patio that would be fantastic on a warm night under the patio lights. It is a cozy, moody, quaint place that is perfect for an adult date night. The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful. The food is amazing and full of flavor. Will be back next time we are in town! Highly recommend!”

“Great coffee, friendly staff, great view. Only downside is that the seating is very limited, at least in the winter (for about 7-9 depending on how comfortable two people get). Not sure if there's more seats on the porch in the summer.

Not a shop I'd choose for leisurely reading/writing/relaxing beyond getting your coffee and going. But worth a detour for the coffee.”
