My two favorites are the pistachio and rainbow cookie gelato ?.. they also have a nice selection of pastries / cakes. If you have a sweet tooth the cannoli creme filled lobster tails were amazing as was the rainbow cookie cheese cake! Last but not least they have a wide range of offerings as far as coffee & espresso!“

If the prices are going up with less portions that’s going to be a problem for Friendly’s. I would hate to see them go out of business because I love Friendlys too!!“

“If there was an option for ten stars, I'd rate this place ten stars across the board! EVERY time I go to this location in Bay Shore, I'm so impressed on how spotless the whole place is. The one lady & man (he's usually in the back unless a few customers come in) that are always there are so nice. The lady is constantly cleaning up after herself after everything she makes. You can see that they work hard & appreciate the business. They give excellent customer service & I HIGHLY recommend this Carvel!

The LICORICE flavour was AWESOME with tiny bits of black licorice in it. The building facade has a fun energy to it; the garbage can looks like a massive ice cream cone.“

“Recently, I came in and placed a large, last-minute order for a catering party that I had forgotten to arrange ahead of time. I ordered several cups of soft serve ice cream and sundaes. From the moment I walked in, the staff were welcoming, upbeat, and ready to help. They handled my order quickly and professionally while keeping a friendly attitude that made the experience easy.
They made sure every cup looked great and were very generous with the toppings not skimping at all. I was impressed that they even waived the charge for one topping because the cup was already filled to the top. Their attention to detail, kindness, and willingness to help turned a rushed situation into a pleasant one. I left feeling relieved and impressed, and my guests loved how everything looked and tasted. Outstanding service!“

“Everyone who grows up on Long Island knows that Ralph's Ices is a staple. All of the locations are excellent, but this one right here takes it to the next level. Recently renovated, super clean and very efficient.

The staff goes above and beyond offering a seemingly endless array of tastings and flavors (Kudos to Maddy for being the best). The drive-thru is so convenient, they offer ice cream & soft serve as well, and they even have a candy bar! Cannot recommend enough.“

“This is probably my top 2 favorite ice cream place (my other fave is sugar hill creamery). SO MANY FLAVORS!! Amazing sundaes, the staff has always been incredibly kind, they literally warm up a brownie to crumble on the Sunday without asking (not a great example but you get the point), I absolutely love it here.

Vegetarian options: It’s ice cream lol

Kid-friendliness: Great for kids! Lots of options for the adventurous and the picky.

Wheelchair accessibility: No steps! The door is not automatic, you have to pull it, but there are no steps and it is easy to order from a wheelchair“

“I go to visit relatives in Northport a couple of times a year. I can't believe that I haven't been to this place before! I've driven by and noticed it but it kind of blends in.

I ordered 3 sandwiches (Rosa, Amore and Porchetta). I was a little concerned that the sandwiches might be on the small side, based on the images on the website. Well, let me tell you, these sandwiches are huge. One sandwich could be lunch and dinner (one half each meal) for a majority of people.

And the meatballs are tender with a delicious tangy marinara. These meatballs are better than Maroni down the street and much less expensive.

Sandwiches were so good, I picked up another for the beach the next day (La Nonna meatball sandwich). It was fantastic but did not come with any red sauce. Maybe they forgot it, I dunno. But I also ordered more meatballs and used that sauce to dip the sandwich

The macchiato was great. I am quite particular about coffee. This coffee was flavorful and strong

“Went to the Northport location this morning. I had the Tex-Mex Benny Bowl. Loved it! Something different, our server Karen was outstanding. Attentive, without being annoying. Even had my favorite hot sauce, highly recommend.“
