Agua de Coco Bar is such a vibe! The atmosphere was perfect — laid-back but lively, with great music and beautiful decor that gave it a tropical feel. The drinks were amazing (especially the coconut cocktails — so fresh and flavorful), and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. You can tell they care about the experience. Also the chciken over rice tatses amazing espcially with the white south and hot sauce it is a good combo. The ice cream slection is also good and at the time of this review they got this rainbow colored ice cream like they got at the iceies carts. “This was my first time trying their food. I had the Curry Chicken lunch and dumplings (they were tasty after I reheated them). The CC, sweet plantain and cabbage were good! But I don't know why Jamaican restaurants only give you a table spoon of cabbage 😁. The rice was okay but a little dry even with gravy. The serve J. was nice!“

“The food was delicious! I had the grilled chicken with rice, beans and mashed potatoes. The ladies in there are absolutely attentive to all of your needs and i never had to wait for anything. If you like bachata, salsa or on the evening i was there soft rock by camilo sesto, the music can be requested to the staff setting your atmosphere. 5 stars in all categories.

Parking: No parking, unless you get lucky and find someone pulling out of a spot. Instead take the 4 train to the 183rd street station in the BX and poof! Your there“

“So let me start by saying I LOVE RICE!! This place did not disappoint by ANY means. Between the rice, the stew beef, the smells and the energy, this place is an authentic island within a restaurant. Oh, did I mention the rice was on ALL points of the point system. I was genuinely sad when my food was ready and I had to leave. Felt like I was leaving a family members house that I just met, probably shoulda did a background check on, coulda been poisoned..but js wasnt.. I hope that makes sense. 17.35 stars outta 10 kinda thing!!“
