“We went here for cocktails this evening and it was an excellent find. The cocktail menu was extensive and interesting. We enjoyed everything we had. The cocktails were on the pricey side but worth it if you're looking for something beyond the basics. The bartender was knowledgeable and skilled. The environment was low key and pleasant. To find it, go in the unmarked wooden door on the way up to the train tracks. Definitely worthwhile and a place I will come back to when I am in the area.“

“Stay Away!!! Just kidding, this spot is popular and rightfully so for all the right reasons. The atmosphere is bot chill and warm for lounge lizards wanting a great watering hole. The drinks are fantastic, The Monk Fashioned being my favorite, reminds me of a magical Sazerac. The food here is delicious too, been a couple times and look forward to returning again soon. Love the Sweet And Salty Grilly with Gruyère, Prosciutto, Fig Spread, Arugula on Sour Dough. The Fonduey Mac & Cheese is also a cooze fest of cheesy goodness, also the Whipped Feta with the Everything Bagel Pretzel. Always love to get the Crab Cakes. Though I’m eyeing the Skewered Thighs for next time they look like a divine dine. Fortunately we’ve gotten in without a reservation, though I’m sure it’s good to have one.“

“You have to get your silverware, clean table, get your own drink. However, my turkey sandwich was delicious. I would return to Uptown Garrison again to eat the same sandwich. I have never had such a scrumptious sandwich. I am still thinking about the sandwich as I write this.“

“I went to this establishment on Cinco De Mayo and when I mean they are the sweetest people ever. It’s a family owned restaurant and the atmosphere gives that. Me and my cousin was served right away. The drinks were delicious and the tacos 5 out of 5. Although I didn’t get to experience their entire menu because they just made a menu for that day I was so pleased. I had a conversation with one of the workers who took time out to speak with me and my cousin she gave us the history of their restaurant and more. God bless them. They gained a returning customer for sure. Can’t wait to go back and experience the full menu. If anyone loves authentic Mexican food and your in the Bronx please go check them out you won’t regret it.“

“Let me start by saying…. OMG what a beautiful spot. I am so impressed, by the food, the drinks! Wow! The service… Top NOTCH. Julia, and Anthony. Wonderful servers with some of the best professional and charming personalities I haven’t seen in a very long time. They should write the BOOK on hospitality real NEW YORK customer service.

First of all… The entrance to The Blind Pig is stunning. And the decor is gorgeous. Takes you back into colonial days or even earlier. There’s no other way for me to explain it. Just genius Beautiful artifacts with gorgeous sitting and an electric fire place along with walls filled of stunning 1800s art and style. The servers are very well dressed with a vest and tie. Very nice touch and they are super attentive. This was our very first time here and it was way over and beyond our expectations for sure. We ordered our drinks… Just delicious… I am old school, so I ordered an Old Fashion. Was done to perfection. Let me repeat that… PERFECTION.

After watching my buddy enjoy the hell out of his purple drink… I just had to order one. Wow… That was unbelievable. The next time I come back to this restaurant. I WILL book a room around the corner, because I will be having a “few” of those and won’t make it home, lol! As far as the food. Just Spectacular. Very nice portions with a nice presentation. The atmosphere is just gorgeous. I included pictures.

The owner also owns a bar called “The Crooked Quill.” Which is literally across the street from The Blind Pig. BEAUTIFUL… We crossed the street and took the rest of the party there. WOW… Elegant place for the elegant person. Will be now one of my favorites or possibly my favorite in White Plains. If I could give this place 10 stars I would.

We asked if any place was still serving. The "MAN" Vic asked what we would like, from one of the tables. In no time we had a bottle of Vino Tinto in front of us and people were making us try food they were dining on. I felt like I was at my friends ,' THE PIAZZAS " house.
