“This small tucked away location seems to be a big date night spot, or let me say first date night spot. I came to meet a friend here and was pretty amazed at how many ppl seemed to be on dates. The ambiance is very cool you would never expect this inside of an old train station. Food menu is limited for more of snacks which I think is perfect for this size place. Drinks were flowing and service was attentive and had recommendations if you need it.“

“By far, one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had in NY. I stopped by to grab a drink before meeting a friend. Super cute speak easy vibe. Small. Intimate. The cocktails were amazing! Mine were crafted by a gentleman with braids and when I tell you his story telling made the cocktail experience just that, an experience. Top two, Ma Mandelbaum & Queen of the Desert. A yes for me. I’ll be back✨“

“AMAZING EXPERIENCEThe hostess and manager were kind enough to seat us despite a late arrival a few minutes after the kitchen was scheduled to close. This superior hospitality was our theme throughout the evening. The server ANFERNEE was prompt, professional, and polite while attending all of our needs. TEXAS-sized portions reminded us back home. Delicious food, tasty cocktails, and wonderful music made this a night to remember.Vegetarian options: The jerk cauliflower was spicy and delicious. The asparagus was roasted to perfection. The mashed potatoes were buttery, creamy goodness.“

“Stay Away!!! Just kidding, this spot is popular and rightfully so for all the right reasons. The atmosphere is bot chill and warm for lounge lizards wanting a great watering hole. The drinks are fantastic, The Monk Fashioned being my favorite, reminds me of a magical Sazerac. The food here is delicious too, been a couple times and look forward to returning again soon. Love the Sweet And Salty Grilly with Gruyère, Prosciutto, Fig Spread, Arugula on Sour Dough. The Fonduey Mac & Cheese is also a cooze fest of cheesy goodness, also the Whipped Feta with the Everything Bagel Pretzel. Always love to get the Crab Cakes. Though I’m eyeing the Skewered Thighs for next time they look like a divine dine. Fortunately we’ve gotten in without a reservation, though I’m sure it’s good to have one.“

“Augustine has become my favorite restaurant in the Mamaroneck area. The fresh pasta with seasonal preparations are always divine and not your classic Italian dishes (e.g. gnocci with the lamb neck meat this spring, and wild boar in the winter), the wine on point, and the service warm and authentic. The atmosphere is elevated bistro, so it works for date night or dinner with friends but the food is significantly better than any other local restaurant. The chef didn't earn a Michelin bib for nothing.“

“A different venture from your regular Dykman experience. It is an intimate, sophisticated culinary experience inspired by owner Felix Abarca's birthplace Ecuador. Fusing rich flavors found in Ecuadorian cuisine with its food and beverage program they offer an experience in the shape of a glass or plate.Staff is always inviting and on point. Place is always immaculate and organized. Live music on the weekends by local artist or even the bartender "extrangero music" is always of great taste and not too loud.Pop-up and collaborations with chefs or bartenders happen regularly. The amazing wine list is unique and curated by a great connoisseur and wine enthusiast, the owner Felix. The coziness of this place is what makes it even more special.“

I came as a solo during happy hour & sat at the bar … oysters were 1.75$ , clean, fresh and yummyDrink was pretty pricey (17$) but definitely worth the try, the aroma and craft of the drink was appreciated. I had “the smoke”.Also tried the shrimp bun , soooo soft it almost melted in my mouth ! Food was AMAZING! I would visit again!“

“I brought my daughter for dinner this past Thursday night. I didn't know there was live music. I was a little worried at first that my daughter would find the music too loud but she loved it! The honey truffle Brussel sprouts were so delicious. I can't wait to go back and have it again. We also had the risotto funghi and banana bread pudding....both also very tasty. I also tried the happy jalapeño drink...so delicious and not sweet. Overall a wonderful night out!“

“This was a dope spot in the Bronx. Went here for brunch with my family. Spanish vibe music nice. Food was great! I love me a great skirt steak with chimichurri and this was a good one. It could have been lil more on the well side but other than that no issues! Them potatoes was mad good and the eggs was light and buttery!!!! YummmThe waiter was kind and attentive. Not a long wait. The lady at the front was extremely accommodating. She wasted to get us a table for us and our two year old but the one they did have available was perfectly fine and good for us. I appreciated that she considered my child when seating us.“

“Nice cozy dark place. The entrance to the restaurant was..interesting and the atmosphere is pretty dark. The food was great. We had the breakfast platter and the bacon tasted like pork belly. The pancake has more of a cake taste and was thick and airy. It was certainly a unique unexpected blend of flavors but good.“

“My daughters and I have found our favorite sushi spot. We absolutely love it! The atmosphere is low-key and has an amazing vibe. The music sets a great tone, making the overall atmosphere just perfect. Even though I highly recommend this place, I hesitate to do so because I want to keep it as our little secret. I don't want it to become overcrowded. I know it might sound shady, but this sushi spot serves the best sushi I have ever tasted, and my daughters feel the same way.“

“This is our neighborhood restaurant. We usually come here on Fridays to celebrate the end of the work week. Their handmade pastas are ALL excellent (my fav is the bucatini) and their pizzas are soft and chewy and pillowy. The staff are all warm and friendly and the vibe is just relaxed and chill. Whether it’s a cold winter night sipping an old fashioned or a warm summer afternoon sipping a Negroni, there’s no other place I’d rather be at than Bar 314. This is a destination restaurant. Even if it was all the way down in the Financial District I’d travel to it.“

“First, I have to say that this place is amazing!! We love it and the staff/service are great too. We have been going for a long time to buy from the bakery section but to actually sit and eat there, it’s been three times. Food is great, prices are great, and on Fridays and Saturdays they have live entertainment. They only negative is that the third time we went there it was packed and no tables were available. We were told we would receive a text so we sat outside in the car. We then noticed that a group of 3 were seated as soon as they walked in and a couple walked in and were taken to a table right away when we questioned the hostess she said nothing and smiled so I asked again why didn’t we receive a text and why were those people seated before us and she said the table took a few minutes to be ready which still didn’t make sense. We sat outside waiting for almost 15 minutes and others were seated right away. Mistakes happen and so we gave her the benefit of the doubt. We also tried to pay with a $50 Visa gift card and the cashier did not know how to do it so we had to pay with our debit. She claims it was declined but it has $50 and we called from there to prove it. Overall I still gave the restaurant as a whole a 5 because this is the first time today, 1/20/2024, that we had a semi negative experience. I definitely recommend this place.“

“The food and drinks here were amazing. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious, and the drinks were tasty and strong. This restaurant is good for families and people of all ages. It has a chill vibe and it's a place where you can have a conversation with the others in your party. No loud music, no DJ for brunch if that's the vibe you are looking for. I typically like "party" style brunches, but this was a nice change and the food was absolutely worth it. I will definitely be returning!Dietary restrictions: No dairy free desserts available.Kid-friendliness: Good place to bring kids.“

“I live in the neighborhood and all the restaurants in this street have loud music during the week which imposes a lack of conversation and chilling out when you’re having a drink or an appetizer and a restaurant and restaurants now unfortunately have loud music and it makes you feel stressed and uncomfortable not being able to enjoy yourself having a drink and listening to your thoughts. So I’ve discovered this is a place if you want to chill out atmosphere with great drinks, a great bartender and the music is out of lab where you can actually have a conversation not only with the service staff but with other people next year, so I recommend it’s not only for happy hour during the week and such.“

“Food was good. The service was not. Our waitress did not smile much. She was playing with her cell phone when I approached to the service desk with computer and other billing stuff. “Great experience, waiter was very knowledgeable and explained every single detail. He was also very engaging. Food was definitely very good and there was many great options. Only reason im not giving it a 5 star is because the place looks fancy the people that go were very well dressed but the utensils did not look up to that it may be very minor detail but i feel like its all part of the dining experience.“

“The food at this establishment was incredibly delicious, making it my second visit here. On our first visit, we didn't have a reservation, but the staff still accommodated us on a busy Saturday night. The food was exceptional. This time, we were seated in a better location, and the meatballs were outstanding! I enjoyed a Pom martini and the carbonara pasta, while my date savored the balsamic chicken, which was equally delightful. “Why aren’t more people talking about this place??!!!??My friends and I went tonight night for dinner and drinks because we saw they had the speakeasy and we love that vibe.We decided to sit at the bar. Immediately, the bartender, Steven/Stephen, starts telling us about the place and it’s rich history. He was so kind and helpful the whole night. He made sure he connected with us for a great experience. We ordered espresso martinis, because obviously. They were INCREDIBLE. You can get it with or without Baileys which was nice. We even got decaf espresso. The level of sweetness was just right. The foam was foaming. They were truly a treat. 10/10. I also ordered a Tiramisu martini which came with a lady finger on top. This was a little stronger but still nice and creamy with great foam. 9/10.The food was absolutely DIVINE. He told us the food is made fresh because they don’t have a freezer..?!?!!? Impressive if true. We started off with the Arancini because they are my religion. Mouthwatering. The rice was perfectly cooked. The crispy outside was amazing. The flavors melded together well. 10/10. I had the Spicy Rigs. It was made with homemade pasta…!!!!!!!!!! I am not a pasta girly but when it’s homemade…consider me a pasta girly. The sauce was smooth and creamy. The tomatoes really came through. I wish the Calabrian chilis poked through a little more for more of a spice. However, the flavors were still balanced. 9/10.The vibes were immaculate! We got there about 7. A DJ started playing music around 9:30. It turned into a club vibe which was shocking. The music was blaring so it did become hard to hear each other. The music was still good though. They do have HH Monday - Friday which seems like really great deals on drinks/food.I would 100000000% come back here and recommend it to anyone. I hope to try their sister restaurant soon, Hudson Prime Steakhouse, which is the only steakhouse in Irvington apparently!!!For me to live in Westchester all my life and to not have heard of this place before is crazy! It was so good.“

“No question, THE FINEST RESTAURANT in Westchester County, NY. Look you out to eat for a good meal and to be pampered with service. Micheline has the best food north of the City. Period, end of story. From the burger to the fish to the meat, the food is delicious. Always paired with the perfect wine. I'm a beaujolais guy but their selection is vast. My new favorite dish on the menu is the duck and the puree that comes with it. As an appetizer, I love their soups.“

“I've never had whiskey before, because my mother always said it was an undignified drink for women. At the risk of appearing unladylike, I stumbled into The Hamilton with the intention of trying whiskey for the first time. As I was internally battling with my mother's judgement, a kind bartender named Ross noticed me looking troubled. He could tell immediately what my predicament was. I was surprised how intuitive he was. He assured me that women drink whiskey all the time, and it's completely normal. Ross allowed me to sample a few different kinds of whiskey, and I really loved how it made me feel! I'll admit, I did feel slightly more boisterous after consuming the samples, but Ross assured me that it was okay to express myself! At the end of the sampling, he fixed me an elegant cocktail, and I was again reminded of my feminine demeanor. I loved being able to let loose while sipping a delicate cocktail. Who says women can't drink whiskey??? THIS woman can and WILL! Thank you Ross.“

“From the outside, you wouldn't think much about this spot. But once you enter and try their food, it's actually really good. This little gem is situated in Harlem, an easy drive from the Bronx. We walked in and got seated at our table. Our waitress and bartender were very friendly. The vibe was very romantic and cozy, perfect for date night or just grabbing dinner with your girls. They do play throwbacks and R&B so it's definitely a New York spot. Now on the food. The bruschetta was okay. My friend is not a fan of tomatoes, and I'm not a fan of unseasoned tomatoes, so it wasn't a win-win for us. However, the entrées were great. My friend got the skirt steak with fries and I got the linguine bolognese. My pasta was absolutely delectable, and I don't know how I finished the entire entire plate in one sitting. My friend liked her steak, but the fries still the show. They were perfectly fried, and crispy. We also got the berry red sangria. It tasted like a regular Pinot Grigio with a cherry added to it so it wasn't really that special but nonetheless, for $13, you get a full glass so you really can't complain. All in all, definitely check out the spot. It's low-key, but worth a try. I would definitely come back if I'm in the neighborhood. Thanks guys for a great dinner.“

“Just had the absolute pleasure of dining at La Casa Bronxville for the first time. Where do I start? It had been recommended to me by a couple of friends as a really unique, quality twist to the Mexican dining genre and were they ever correct. Started with the warm and friendly greeting and spacious well decored bar and dining areas. Once seated and presented with the menu - I was pleasantly suprised with the cool spin on some of the more traditional Mexican menu items (ex. Oyster soft tacos to die for - and I don't even like oysters but these were out of this world). The quality of the ingredients and food items are clearly a top priority for the management and the chef. The owner Spencer Pingle is very present and you feel it. He explained that the chips, guac and many other main items are freshly made in house daily - any wow the flavors pop!!! I can go on for quite a bit about this Westchester GEM but I will simply recommend that you go for this experience and see for yourself. Very reasonably priced for the impeccable food quality, portions and presentation. YES YES YES!!!!“
