“This place is just as advertised. Quick and simple food done very well, for a great price. I got the 1/2 chicken combo with Greek lemon potatoes. Everything was solid, the chicken was nicely cooked and juicy with a classic rotisserie flavor. The lemon flavor came though nicely on the potatoes. You also get a green sauce that comes with the meal that adds a nice acidic herbal flavor. Also, I got the grilled buffalo wings which I really enjoyed. Many places do not offer grilled, so I really appreciated this. I find especially for takeout, fried wings lose the textural component and become soggy. The grilled adds an extra depth of flavor that I personally enjoy. Overall great value.“

“The best breakfast. Today had the matza ball soup and a corn muffin absolutely delicious. Soup came hot and the muffin was so fresh. The staff and owners are warm and welcoming.“

“The service was quick. There's a few tables for seating. I got the 1/2 chicken combo with 2 sides. The chicken was nicely seasoned and juicy. I selected sweet potato fries and rice and beans as the two sides. The sweet potato fries got soggy in the container. They could have pack the sweet potato fries separately to keep it from being soggy. The rice and beans were a bit dry.“

“My favorite diner hands down. I moved to Staten Island a few years ago, but still cross the bridge when I want the best French toast. I visit at least once a week. Staff is friendly and very welcoming. I’m mostly there on Saturdays, and Catherine is always my server. Love her! I’ll be going back to work in that neighborhood soon (DOE), so I’ll definitely treat myself to lunch there as well😋.“

“The service was amazing. The two gentlemen serving us were kind and patient. I ordered the Acapulco style burger - it had jalapeños and roasted onions. The burger also came with a side- I chose sweet potato fries! It was amazing! We also got pancakes with whip cream and fresh strawberries for our table - I can't recommend it enough! The strawberries were FRESH! The pancakes were soft and tasty! All in all, it was amazing. We went on a Saturday evening and it was surprisingly not busy. The atmosphere was relaxing. We went after a pool day and it was nice to eat a bunch of food and relax. Do make sure you take your physical bank card - Apple pay and Google pay were not working when we went.“
