I had never tried Guyanese bread before until I came to this store. They had whole and plain tennis rolls. The guy behind the counter also suggested bread and said it goes really well with the cheese. I bought one loaf and really liked the texture. It was a little sweet and crunchy. I will definitely buy more when I'm in the area.
Whenever I am in Brooklyn, I try to visit one of a few Guyanese bakeries to pick up a variety of pastries to bring back home with us. Pam’s is always fully stocked and their consistency is recognized and greatly appreciated by my family.

Best bake and salt fish in the whole of NYC. It's not an eat in joint, but the food is amazing hands down. My mothers flys from Texas to get her puri/ roti/ black cakes....
