My favorite dish is the Salmon D’ Oro which is a green rice wit peas & peppers, very well marinated & on top of rice is a crispy salmon & salsa criolla. I always look forward to coming here. “By far, it is one of the best restaurants in NYC. The Ceviche is the dish that speaks for itself. I was in Florida, San Francisco, Washington DC, Virginia, CT, New Jersey, but I never have eaten a Ceviche like it's is done at Chacras!

“Got takeout from here: a beef empanada, the half-chicken with rice and beans, and the chicken tips. The portion sizes were VERY large, more than enough for lunch the day after. The chicken was good, the beans were wonderful, but the highlight was the beef empanada. The beef empanada was FANTASTIC, it was perfectly seasoned, had raisons, and was just generally lovely. Would recommend coming back here just for the empanadas.“

“Probably one of the most excellent grab and go meals money can buy! Get a rotisserie quartered and point at the sides from the hot table to go with it. They’re all good, especially the Mac and plantains. Sausages, steamed veggies and ribs also slap. I dooooooo miss the sandwiches though :)“

This was the first spot we ordered from when we moved to Round Rock, and my husband, my 2 yr old daughter at the time and I sat on a blanket on the empty floor of the living room eating hot rotisserie chicken, fries, salad, and ceviche.
