We hosted our wedding after party at Velvet and it was the best decision I made! From planning to the day of event - Jose and staffs were so helpful and attentive and kind, made our day extra special. The space has great lighting, decoration, and also mic and screen for karaoke! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a private venue, can comfortably fit ~60 people.

Velvet Brooklyn is a great place for any celebration. The staff, including Phil, Jesus, Jason, and Luis, are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure guests have a good time. The space is ideal for groups, offering enough room to dance and socialize. The bar service is excellent, with Jesus even described as turning water into wine. Whether celebrating a birthday or any special event, the table service and cozy setting create a warm and enjoyable atmosphere. The back lounge is spacious enough to fit a DJ, photo op, slideshow, and plenty of seating, making it perfect for private parties. The decor has a gothic/victorian speakeasy feel, adding to the unique vibe. The private area is separated but visible through a curtain, giving an exclusive touch. The bar offers delicious drinks for around $16-17, served by a friendly bartender. On quieter nights like Thursdays, visitors can enjoy sports on TVs in a relaxed environment. Jada provides excellent customer service, making sure guests feel welcome from reservation to departure. Overall, Velvet Brooklyn is highly recommended for its great vibe and attentive service.
