“Every time I come to Callicoon my first stop is the Westen hotel there food is 5***** the drinks are fantastic!! The only place I go with friends when i come upstate!!. I own a place in the Beachwoods and I don't cook when I'm up. John the Chef is amazing The hotel is beautiful... so much history.”

“Stopped in on a road trip hoping for something better than the local quick stop. Wow did we get it!! Got the pork, Cuban corn, and rice and beans to go. The drive became e a 5 star experience and we were revitalized. So thankful and will absolutely come by again the next time we pass through. The place smelled amazing and the drinks looked great (if we weren’t driving).”

“*Cash only* 6/5 for the food. This is one the best diner breakfasts we have ever had in the US after living here 9 years! Buckwheat pancakes were so, so delicious. Highly recommend getting the real syrup. Meats very high quality. Would definitely go back as soon as I can.”

“Good little take out place. I got the roast pork with bean sprouts. It was nicely flavored with ginger, sprouts were springy and not mushy which is often the case. Pork was well cooked. I also got the wonton soup which had a nice broth and the noodles had just the right amount of bite. Meal was ready in less than 10 min. It’s not a 5 star dining experience but a good staple.”
