“Our first visit tonight, we were greeted by the most kindest women. She was so knowledgeable and told us all her specials and recommendations. We had the best soup and meal. Very tasty. We then went to the bar and met John, we were able to sit on the deck with a perfect view and our greeter(John’s wife)came out and talked to us several times made us feel right at home. “We had read many good reviews about this place and decided to check it out. We we not disappointed. Our host/ bartender and server Tara was fantastic. Friendly and attentive and answered all questions asked about the place.
We both ordered the Fried Seafood Platter. It came with a huge piece of haddock, shrimp and scallops with enough fries to feed three people. All cooked perfectly. For my main course, I had the crusted pork chop with au gratin potatoes and escarole, and it was truly delicious and cooked to perfection. To top it all off, the manager even came out to wish me a happy birthday, which made the experience feel extra special. I had a sausage, peppers, and onion omelet with Itlaian toast and coffee. Food was up in about 10 minutes. It provided the way I thought it would, except for ONE FLAW.. So, I order the Make your Own Grand Slam with 2 Eggs (Ordered them over easy) 2 Bacon Strips, Toast, and Pancakes. It came pretty quick, 8 minutes, not bad. The eggs were suspicious. I checked them and, what do ya know? It's not cooked right. It's not cooked AT ALL. So, I get it remade of course. They remake it, but with extra surprise. The surprise? It was greater than if my mom cooked it. My waiter was so good with service and understanding. So, I just wanna say, thank you, Denny's Staff. :D“
