“The service was great. The waitress was attentive and made sure I was okay along with the bus boy. The food was really good (I had the pescatore in marinara). I ended it with dessert. I ate outside and I really enjoyed the atmosphere, it was very peaceful. Definitely recommend!“

“Phenomenal from start to finish!! We were lucky to have the place to ourselves for an early dinner. Dani, co-owner & chef, greeted us with a warm welcome. You could tell right away she had a genuine interest in making our experience special. We started out with a creamy, simple burrata that came with homemade focaccia. The bread was SO perfect. We each had salmon with Israeli couscous and broccolini. The salmon was cooked to perfection and paired nicely with the wine suggested by Dani. Then dessert…it was so difficult to pick just one!!! So we got three! Ana, the other owner, is the evil genius behind the to die for desserts!! Tiramisu, mascarpone cheesecake (we took it to go) and an apple cider donut with vanilla ice cream. (The donut was so absolutely divine that my boyfriend ordered a second serving!!) And can I just say the cappuccinos were on point! My mouth is watering just thinking about it all again! I hope others visit and enjoy the fabulous food, service and atmosphere at Mambo. We don’t live around the corner, but will definitely make the drive back because the whole experience was just that good. I wish Dani and Ana much success. You can tell it is a true labor of love for them. Cin-cin ladies!“

“Love having Natalie back behind the bar! And Chef Ming is an artist. Seriously blew us away with his skills on the most basic dish - his classic cheese pizza. It’s almost what you would classify as classic Neopolitan, but with hardly any flop. He clearly chooses the best ingredients as well. Such an amazing surprise Can’t wait to go back with the family.“
“Chef Chris was professional, punctual, and helped me host the most amazing dinner party for my mom‘s birthday in the Hamptons. He created a fantastic menu and was able to accommodate all dietary restrictions while keeping the meal, smooth, consistent, and absolutely delicious. He is not only a delight to work with, but incredibly easy to coordinate with. He was such a pleasure to have in the kitchen, helped me prepare the table and made me feel at ease, even though it was very probable that our outdoor celebration might get ruined by the rain. 12 out of 10 if you’re hosting a dinner party in the Hamptons or in Aspen, he is your guy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone for any occasion.“

“We chose Risotto to celebrate our anniversary, confident the food and service would be top-notch—and it didn’t disappoint! The surprise highlight? A beautifully presented complimentary dessert from the owner that made the evening truly memorable. If only we lived closer—we’d be regulars! Until then, it’s a must-stop every time we’re in town.“

“We just came home from Sunday Brunch at Basso by PXK...the "Pots, Pans and Pasta" Brunch. Two hours, a dozen or more courses, one better than the other! Great food, great service. Peter Kelly dropped by each table to welcome us. So happy we went. Will be back for dinner...but it will be difficult to decide on one meal after such great variety.“
