“I had the 17-course Bougie Omakase, and it was honestly one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had.

The entire vibe of the place is fantastic. The interaction with the chef and staff makes the experience feel personal, fun, and welcoming from start to finish. You can tell they truly care about what they’re serving.

What really stood out was the quality of the fish. They source fish from Japan every couple of days, and the difference is noticeable immediately. The flavors are incredibly clean and fresh. some of the best fish I’ve ever tasted.

Each course is thoughtfully designed. The chef gradually builds intensity, serving sushi with progressively stronger and richer flavors so every bite feels better than the one before it. It’s a really clever and satisfying progression.

Some of my absolute favorites were the toro (fatty tuna), the wagyu, the scallop, which literally melts in your mouth, and the sake (salmon). But honestly, every single piece was exceptional. The subtle seasoning on each piece elevated the fish without overpowering it.

Overall, this was a top-tier omakase experience. Incredible quality, amazing service, and a perfectly curated progression of flavors. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who loves sushi.

“The moment I walked into the restaurant, the pleasant aroma of real Japanese food took me back to my days living in Japan. The restaurant is excellent; the sushi is fresh and plentiful; and the salads were perfect. The service was impeccable. The restaurant is clean. It was a great find; we were there for a weekend basketball tournament at Impact Athletic Center just two miles away. “Spent Valentine’s Day here and the food was absolutely delicious!!! The dragon roll and takoyaki were amazing! The unagi sashimi was to die for and lastly the chicken katsu was incredible. “We were at Shogun today and had a great experience! The service was excellent — our waitress was very professional and kind. She even brought a strawberry as a little gift for our daughter, which was such a sweet gesture. The food was fresh and very tasty. They also have a full bar, and it’s kids-friendly, making it a great spot for families. Definitely recommend!“

“We have always gone here for any celebrations and had a great experience. Tonight was good but not great. We were a party of 12 and made reservations. Once we were all seated it was like we were rushed to leave. Ordered drinks which too longer than normal. Order two plates of sushi and they came mid way through our meal. Cooking started before soup or salad. Once the cooking was done. Boxes came out but we were celebrating our granddaughter’s 7th birthday. So was asked if we could get something for her. Took a little bit but ice cream, candle and singing but there were 5 other kids at the table who wanted ice cream too. Asked for them to have some and waited 20 minutes. It was such an odd experience. We will go back but please slow down Hanzo! This is what we pay for…a nice evening out. To give a time frame, we sat down at 435 and we were done at 530 but then waited for ice cream.“
