You would expect a lot of these desserts to be very heavy but they actually are not crazy. Everything is just flavored perfectly you would thing a brownie crammed with a rainbow cookie would be very rich surprisingly it was just right. They really hit it out of the park with everything. My only wish is that you could get smaller portions of the regular cookies I didn't feel like shelling oit $20 for a pound while I was already trying all this other stuff. “We’ve experimented with many different bake shops and literally nothing has come close to the goodness at Catalina’s bake shop. It’s a little further for us than all the other bake shops near us, but it’s worth the trip every single time. We originally discovered this place when I needed a cake for my daughter’s birthday which came out absolutely beautiful and was the best tasting cake we have ever. “If you like apples and anything made with apples you need to come to Jericho Cider Mill!It's not a huge store by any means and you have to park along 106 and walk with the traffic but it's well worth the visit once you're inside. Shelves and shelves of jams (including moonshine jam!), apple cider doughnuts, pies, cider, and other various goodies. Fairly priced and a fast moving line with a helpful staff. I always warm up their cider and it hits the spot each time. Not too sweet but also not too tart. The doughnuts are heaven and so fresh. I do need to try their jams next time I visit. Very much worth the impossible parking situation (wear boots) to get some apple goodness.“

“This was my second visit to this adorable shop. The displays are always filled with delightful treats and an amazing variety. Last time, we sampled one of each of their macarons. Perfection. From the feet on the macarons to the light but flavorful fillings, we knew we had to return for more treats. This visit the macaron shelf was filled with small individual cakes. We could not resist. We tried the carrot cake and red velvet cakes and I opted for a black and white cookie as well. Service was fast and the ladies at this shop are very amicable. I appreciate and value good service and this location is top notch. The store is clean and they have a drink station also. We will most definitely be coming back again. I just have to try the spritz cookies. I would like to perhaps get an assortment to try one of each.“

Definitely spacious as one walks in to look and select pastries, cakes, sandwiches, drinks they wish to purchase and either dine in or take out. Cakes are nice and cream is light and not heavy. If you need a cake with writing, need to pre-order at least 2 days in advance for pickup. Mochi donuts are delicious and good to share, along with the pastries. They have seasonal specials and special promos for PB members who have signed up and use the app. PB reward members earn points with the app for every purchase so don't forget to scan. And if redeeming rewards, only one reward can be redeemed at a time.“

When I arrived, I was immediately greeted. There are some people behind the counter that speak English but they speak mostly Spanish. I do speak Spanish, but it was good to know that there are other people that can speak English, because I wanted to share this restaurant with my colleagues at work and they do not speak Spanish. Everyone was friendly, kind, and helpful. I ordered the special of the day which was caldo de res (beef soup)- there is an option to order it "Complete" which comes with rice topped with beef stew, macaroni salad, and plantain. I got a Colombiana soda to go with it and it was perfect!!! it was nice, clean, bright inside and the bakery is to die for. I didn't get to take pictures of the empanadas and pan de queso I bought, but it's a MUST have. I would love to try their cakes next time, it looked so good!! they have a whole pastry/bread section. Definitely recommend this place“
