The Lady who took my order was super friendly and very thorough.I ordered Three the Hard Way with rice and peas and cabbage. I added a side of Mac & cheese and plantains.OMG! It was SO MUCH FOOD...AND it was still hot when I got home!Well, the Jerk chicken was very palatable (most jerk is TOO spicy for me). Stew chicken and curry chicken were very good, as well! Cabbage, rice and peas and plantains were good. Mac & cheese was okay. (I'm a hard judge of Mac & cheese. It needed a little more flavor.)Overall, I will certainly order again!! I've eaten pad Thai from other establishments and Tamarind Thai, hands down, has the best Pad Thai. The staff are nice but I would not say they move with any great pace not are they really trained. More of family vibe going on. The food was prepared well but was a bit on the bland side. “I grew up in the Lansingburgh area so I've known about Verdiles for many years. For those that do not know Verdiles, it is a family run restaurant and back when they first started it was their mother who made the pasta sauce and meatballs. Her recipes are still used today. I love going there, the staff is very warm and welcoming. Everyone is treated like family. The atmosphere reminds me of a 1960's Italian restaurant. They have made many updates and changes to the restaurant but it still has that vibe. I love looking at all the pictures of the Verdiles family that are around the restaurant. I recommend their homemade pasta with your meal. Great food, great atmosphere and great service. You can't go wrong.“

“I came on a friday and ordered a fish and chips. Fish tasted very fresh. Only thing I could recommend is draining the oil a little bit longer so the fish at the bottom don't get soggy. The fries were good. Mac salad was okay. Pricing was great for the amount of food I received and service was fast. Wasn't a deal breaker for me but the restaurant does only accept cash so make sure you have cash on hand to avoid atm fees. Servers were very nice as well! Would definitely come back if in the area.“
“Wow, I'm Italian and felt like my grandmom was in the back cooking. Everything had was amazing! Lidia, the co-owner, waited on us. She took the time to talk with us and made us feel truly special. Only problem was that I ate too much because everything was so good. We started with the special olive oil dip and bread. I would normally never mention this, but it was amazing, enjoyed sharing the roasted red peppers salad with my spouse. Sooo good! I had the Chicken/eggplant Parmesan combination. Amazing! Amy, my spouse, had the Chicken Milanese. She loved it! We had enough for leftovers for the next day and I can't believe that it tasted even better the next day! “My wife and I stopped in for the first time this past Saturday and smiled when we saw the sign for Fin Your Fishmonger! Had to go in and look. Left for a few and came back and ordered the smoked bay scallops, smoked salmon and smoked bluefish because we didn't have a cold bag to bring fish back to the house 45 minutes away.The scallops, salmon and bluefish were absolutely delicious and will be a regular order for us. The store was clean and charming and didn't have any objectionable odors. The young lady who helped us was sweet as can be and engaging! Very rare these days with the younger folks.Nice selection of fish and it looked fresh. We also noted they were bringing in some fresh cases of product. Next visit we will be prepared with a cold bag or 2 and some ice packs.Going to try the fish tacos next visit.“

This establishment gives everything you would hope for in an upscale steakhouse. We went here on a Saturday evening as a party of 3. We had drinks, appetizers, a full meal, and dessert. My Ribeye was cooked to perfection, and the sides were so big they could have been shared. The waitstaff was very sophisticated and friendly. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu.
