“a much needed meal after going on a rocky and steep hike up beacon mountain. came on a saturday night and they had live music. the menu felt very fall forward with a couple dishes having apples in it. we tried the focaccia (loved), pierogis, crispy potatoes (delicious), biscuit with honey butter (lovely), pork chop (well cooked), angolotti (tasty mushrooms), sea bass, and skewers.“

“Absolutely excellent dinner location for Thanksgiving. Authentic Revolutionary War Era Inn setting with phenomenal dinner menu for Thanksgiving. 4 of us came here for Thanksgiving- my wife, me and her parents, we all got something different and this place did not disappoint on anything. The chateubriand filet mignon and New Zealand rack of lamb were on point in every way. The side vegetables- the sweet potatoes, the stuffing, the arugula, the green beans, and the carrots were all perfectly cooked to an optimome composition and coloring. The popovers were a nice throwback a little dry but the strawberry butter more than made up for them. The dessert the Belgian chocolate mousse was impeccable. The overall ambiance and atmosphere of this place was very Yankee in a great way, it reminded me of Olde New England Inns and Taverns. Pricing wise it was not the most economical menu but doing Thanksgiving at home with guests wouldn’t have been cheaper. I definitely recommend anyone slightly interested in a place like this come here as they will fully enjoy. We did not reside here but if their hotel accommodations are on par with their dining accommodations, you will get what you pay for and then some.“

“The burgers are INSANE, a must order. I loved my caramelized onion/French onion, burger, and the brunch burger with fried egg, both were delicious, probably top burger I ever had.
I forgot to add a picture because I done right in and then before you know it, it was gone before my eyes 😅
The regular size fry $6 was huge and way more then enough to share for 2 hungry adults

From the very beginning, Chris, the owner, was an absolute pleasure to work with. Since The Beacon Daily typically does not offer direct delivery for a la carte orders, I explained that this lunch was part of a very important three day celebration and that everything needed to be handled with extra care. Without hesitation, Chris personally stepped in, took ownership of the order, and even delivered it himself all the way to Glynwood's Perkins House. His attention to detail, responsiveness, and willingness to accommodate our requests were truly remarkable.
