“Great place! The rice is very flavorful and the steak is tender. They’re also pretty fast they told me 15 minutes and my food is always ready in like 10 minutes. There are other food spots around, but this one is definitely the best. Call before you go so it’s ready when you get there. 10/10 highly recommend!“

“Authentic Colombian fare that's delicious. I tried traditional baked goods- almojabanas (my favorite) and pan de bono. The 'avena' or oatmeal drink was the best my husband has ever tried. We also tried the chicharron (pork rind) and traditional Colombian sausage accompanied by potaoes.....yummy. The next day I had my Colombian comfort food - the tamal valluno, which I ordered frozen, to go. Amazing flavor! I must go back to try more dishes, but I definitely recommend this eatery in Astoria.“

“I stopped by in flushing to drop off a passenger for the us opens and decided to walk around Rosevelt Ave. I already had something before walking in so I got me a coffee and a coconut bread all 7 bucks. The bread and coffee was good and I believe the waiter was a little nervous due to my character possibly. I found it that people are not used to friendly or over friendly greatings due to it being offensive or comming off to strong in other countries ( I’m Hispanic decent). But no worries I will come back. Aye! 😁“

“Fantastic coffee & lunch! Very friendly & helpful staff. Especially since I'm from North Carolina and don't speak spanish. The nice customers helped me too. They have a green sauce that goes with the empanadas that is awesome; I would buy it by the quart! And a Columbian roll with cheese that is not sweet that is wonderful. Definitely will go back next time I'm in NYC“

“During my time in Kingston last year, I enjoyed a lot of the menu options such as the fruit salads (especially the ones with chocolate in it). I especially enjoyed the banana crepe, velvet crepe, chicken crepe, garlic beef crepe, and the chocolavo drink. All the options were quite unique and worth the price. It's too bad this place is closed though. I really wish there was a restaurant in my current area that is at least remotely similar to Fruit Festival.“

“I like this place. We had brunch and the food tasted really good. Baked Chix w/ lemon, awesome. Juicy, moist and tasty. The rice and beans w/chicharones, yum. Not into sweets but the flan w/caramel just hit the spot, it was sweet but not too sweet. The ladies, servers, was very nice and attentive. The ambience, upgraded industrial columbian resto, great.“

“During my first visit to this restaurant, I enjoyed a “posta cartagenera.” OMG DELICIOUS !!!
For the first time in a very long time, I saw a restaurant put true love into a salad—not just plain chopped lettuce. It had tomatoes, carrots, a delicious dressing, and you could tell it was made with a lot of care.
Their entire staff is impeccable, Jose, Carla and I also enjoyed the great music from DJ Buena Vida. I truly tell you: what wonderful people!!! Definitely worth coming back!“

“Do you want some comforting, warm, delicious, homemade food? Food that makes you feel like someone's grandma whipped it up just for you? And service that treats you like you're best friends? Yes, yes you do and this is the spot.

I've come here a few times now and every dish is so good. It's almost unfair how good it is. I could put down 7 of their signature Arepas and not feel a tinge of guilt about it. And if it's cold out? Get some of the best soup in all of Williamsburg right here (even the vegan soup is out of this world).

My wife and I went again last night and Nicolas was such an amazing server. Always with a smile, making sure everything was delicious. He even helped us with some recommendations that he grew up eating that were amazing. Get the Oblea!!! Oh and the cocktails were perfect. Blackberry Mojito? Never had one before, need 100 of them.

“I’ve been searching for a chicharrones spot in NYC for a long time and I’m glad I finally found a spot in Flushing! I got the chicharrones with rice and beans and potato salad (comes with half an avocado). Every aspect of the meal was delicious. The pork was perfectly crispy, the rice was soft and delicious. The beans also paired perfectly with the rice.

The staff was also super sweet and friendly. I would definitely come back for more and for breakfast. I saw a lot of New York breakfast friendly options on the menu for a very reasonable price. They take cash, credit card, and apple pay!“

“My first memory of this place was the first time I bit the pan the bono- it was perfect. After that I remember having the craving to go there every morning. I don’t know about the other workers but the girl that works morning is so lovely. She played Karol G every morning for an entire week and it was just a vibe. It took a while but now she knows me, I like my small coffee with one Splenda and little milk. I could keep coming back for seconds because I like my coffee hot.
