“I had an amazing experience at Sahara’s Turkish Cuisine! The soup, Iskender kebab and Gyro were incredibly flavorful, with the kebab perfectly tender and rich in taste. We also tried an appetizer platter, which was fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented.

To end the meal, the baklava with tea was absolutely perfect flaky, sweet, and a great complement to the tea. The service was excellent, with a warm and welcoming staff that made the experience even better.

I told the waitress when I finally finished my entree and she apologized and said I should have told her right away and she would have exchanged my meal. I appreciated her response. Food was mostly good. The spicy dip (acili ezme) was excellent. Sis-kebap and calamari were also good.

The liver (ciger tava) wasn't great. The cheese pide had tomatoes and sesame seeds, which I didn't expect. It should be a classic cheese pide unless they ask. The rice pudding wasn't very good either.

The place was okay, nothing special.

I'd go back for the good service and the spicy dip. Just ask about the pide before ordering.

Parking: Parking wasn't too bad for Brooklyn. I found a spot two blocks away.“
