“The thing that blew me away is the beauty of the menu and people. Everything on the menu works together and against itself. Somehow on 1 menu there is pate, porridge, pasta, bologna, a $15 shrimp, foie gras, and a cocktail with the word poo in it. It's like the rest of Hudson- a group of people doing whatever makes them happy and it's great. We went here twice in 18 hours. The menu changed - somehow The decor is quirky, the staff is friendly and answered everyone of my questions, the food is decadent and incredibly well executed The kitchen is exposed - and silent. Somehow through a lunch rush and brunch rush everything was spot on and not a single shout from the kitchen - perfectly orchestrated. The bologna sandwich - velvety and decadent. Only a few ingredients - but well thought out. Couldn't be made any better. The friggen crepe - fluffy and flat at the same time. Beautiful flavor - maybe buttermilk? Some other acid? Charred and barely cooked at the same time. Makes no sense The tartare - incredibly flavorful with some crunchy bits of celery? or something. The bread was just very toasted white bread. Simple and perfect The porridge - modeled as a congee with flavorful chili oil and a barely poached egg Teccione pasta - mushrooms and chives in a thin butter sauce - so rich but still light“

“This is a great low key coffee shop with excellent vegan and gluten free options - a true gem in the area. The coffee was good, the service was great, and the vegan and gluten free "puffs" were excellent. Highly recommend grabbing some of those along with whatever you order. We got the rice bowl (V, GF) and cashew cream cheese toast (they also have gluten free bread) and the vegetable platter, which is three small bowls of kraut, all of which were great. Plenty of space for groups here and enough tables to come and do work. If we lived here we would definitely be regulars.“

“Absolutely delicious breakfast (and stroller friendly!) We typically try new restaurants for each meal when we're traveling, but Tanzy's was that good that we went twice for breakfast. They use real eggs (not the egg beaters,) salted butter so the toast is extra flavorful, great jam for the toast, AMAZING home fries seasoned to perfection and crispy in all the right spots, and the truffle hot chocolate is rich. Highly recommend! 10/10! Also, really nice staff. Don't be discouraged by the dated, almost run-down-looking decor, it's part of the allure.“

“So I had the most well balanced and thoughtful BLT of my life on Saturday. Had to come back Sunday to try other bites - breakfast burrito was also ideally ratio-ed (consistent precision clearly) and each b-fast burrito component was intentionally cooked to perfection. But I gotta say, the pastries blew my top off. My goodness. Specifically their Sweet Bun - a sweet and savory matrimony made in Heaven, a crispy sugary glazed crust encasing an angelic cloud like center - this bun slapped me back to being a child again. This decedent yet tastefully crafted bundle of love has secured Willa’s as a mandatory stop whenever I’m back in town. Special shout out to Greg for the love he clearly pours into his pastries.“

“Food always consists of plentiful portions served relatively fast. Great for families with kids. Service is pleasant...and there are great views of the Kinderhook creek from the back section. Can be a little noisy at prime meal times when it's crowded- hard on hearing aids...or those with hearing issues. (Off times are much quieter)“

“So I was on Warren street in downtown Hudson and googled the best pancakes and ended up finding Lindsay’s the food was definitely worth the drive but the service was incredible! The waitress was so happy, kind, and attentive. Not to mention the prices are great, so you can sample a few different options and not break the bank! This place is GEM! “Double espresso for here came to $4.05. Sweeter than what i was expecting, a good thing. Plent of seating and they have a bathroom too. Also alcohol options. That they roast the coffee makes a difference. Various food options. Friendly staff. They're expanding to next door as well so they must be doing well.“

“I had a veggie breakfast sandwich and drip coffee. The former was deliciously fatty and the latter was just okay. The shop is cute and conveniently located, and they offer free wifi. The two things I’d change are: (1) the seats, which are uncomfortable for those hoping to do work on a laptop, and (2) free water. You can ask the staff for water, and they’ll give you a small glass, but I always appreciate when there’s a water dispenser.“

“The food is very good, but not the best in the area. It is definitely the best if you want to sit down in the restaurant though. The breakfast however is phenomenal. I love breakfast burritos and most that you can find in the capital district are just meat, egg, and cheese in a tortilla. At Robert's though, you get a burrito with more than just standard breakfast ingredients.“

“My partner and I’s favorite place to go! It’s close by, service is always great. Food is always amazing. I recommend the Monte Rouge breakfast sandwich and the Greek wrap. My partner loves the classic crispy chicken sandwich. The staff is always so friendly and working so hard! Bobs is usually pretty busy, but they keep up! Nice and mellow for a bit of Saturday morning work or coffee date.They do have snacks like muffins, cookies, quiche and small sandwiches the are delicious and reasonably priced when you want something nice to fill your stomach so the coffee doesn't burn. But just know they're not the upscale places down the street.“
