Came here for my daughter 40th birthday dinner I called ahead of time told then that I had a large party, we got to the restaurant and were seated right away and the menu said happy birthday Tisha on the menu which was so so great and let me tell you everything we tried delicious the drinks was great waiters were wonderful. The oxtail here is just phenomenal. The depth of flavor of the gravy was such a standout. My rice and peas were covered in it and I wish I had more!

The jerk chicken was incredibly tender and the sweet and spicy sauces were a great compliment.

The fresh pine ginger drink is a must have and the homemade coco bread was pillowy soft.

The chef is an absolute pro here when it comes to salinity. The seasoning was spot on for every entree without any lingering saltiness.“

“We catered from Trini Bites for a brunch with friends to celebrate our recent wedding. Working with Renee was an absolute pleasure. From start to finish, she was attentive and responsive. We knew we wanted to cater Trini food as my husband is Trini and I felt the stakes were high to make sure everything went well! And Renee delivered on every front.

The food was an absolute smash hit -- no tray was left untouched or unpolished, and we even sent folks home with to-go containers as they loved the food so much. Particular favorites were the stew chicken, the buss up shot, the mini doubles, and the curry chana and potatoes. “visited Paradise Jerk Jamaican Restaurant for the first time today and decided to try the cornmeal porridge and an order of sweet plantain. I have to say, I was very impressed! The porridge was smooth, creamy, and full of authentic Jamaican flavor seasoned just right with the perfect balance of sweetness and spice. It had that comforting, homemade taste that instantly reminded me of traditional island cooking. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick. The portion was generous, and the food came out hot and fresh. For my first experience, it definitely left a positive impression, and I’m looking forward to going back to try more dishes on their menu.“

“I arrived to the location recommended by a friend who’s considering this location as a b day rendezvous in the near future.

Parking: there’s parking available in a well lit parking lot directly behind the building. There are lights along the entire plaza outside. No major trash or debris. A small spot which still made us feel safe. There’s an entrance / exit there’s well as the front door. There’s parking directly on the main road. We saw a few spots available in the side streets which was a plus.

Business at 8 pm was busy and rustling. A few seats became available at the bar as the crowd rotated. We were promptly greeted by the bartender. We also made eye contact with a wait staff who also went behind the bar POS. The music was at a moderate volume featuring classic reggae sounds throughout the spot. The bar has about 12 seats. There’s are four tv displaying weekly pronouns and local sports. We ordered wings and fries. Both were bright crisp and hot. An indication that grease is rotated fresh. The panko batter for the wings was tasty.

The restroom is located at the back by the entrance. I did not have an opportunity to check this out. The dining room is bright white and modern. There’s a projector and a tv screen in the area. We are observed the climate control is fair with hot food in hot chafing dishes. There are windows which let light in at sunset.

We discussed future dinner plans with owner Jeff. He provided menu options for large parties. He has digital displays of food and menu plans which was impressive.

“It was my very first time visiting J & D Good Taste Restaurant… I am beyond satisfied and highly impressed with the quality of the food. Amazing taste. I ordered the griot to stay, the legumes, and Bouillon to go. The griot was absolutely delicious and fresh, platains done well!! Now, when I got home and tasted the bouillon it felt like I was back home at Moms…OMG!! The legumes was the same … just like Moms. They give very nice portions and lots of meat. I’m definitely going back. Now I have to try my Jamaican faves from them. You’ve gained a customer in me. Thank You !!“

“Came in today for a jerk salad and a side of Mac and cheese . The server innocently rang it up as pasta but they corrected the error with no problem and were very nice about it . Let me say , the jerk salad was DELICIOUS. Definitely worth the money , the chicken was a little spicy , super flavorful and juicy . The mango’s and cucumbers in the salad were fresh. The side of Mac and cheese was the best I have had at any Caribbean restaurant in the entire area and I’ve lived here for over 20 years. Definitely a great experience and I will be coming back for more !!!“
