I would highly recommend it to anyone in search of authentic Turkish cuisine served with a side of warmth and hospitality. Everyone was friendly. “I had ordered delivery food from here; almost every day; w/: meal costs, ranging from: >>approx., U.S.D.: $35; to: $165, each time; over the last, >roughly: 9.5 mnths.; since its' opening under: a fresh new operating direction; at right around the very start of this eatery, which occurred at about that same exact time.It's: a, multi-culturally fluent; attentive; interested; open-minded; &, hard-working fine dining place; under a, brand new; very good owner's management; w/: all new renovations; &, a refreshed approach to their business style.Their current menu has much by way of: great dishes; &, well matched, meal "set"-combos.Even this short while after first "re-opening", they seemed to already be able, to genuinely claim, these positive features: good service; attention grabbingly fine food; discernably pleasant beverages; demonstrably competent staff; a stellar owner; an appealing menu; well-capable; &, dedicated kitchen crew; store's own super delivery service staff; professional, &, assistance-focused: business attitudes; along w/: ongoing, authentic; repeatable, lovely customer experiences; posh decor; very ample floor size; large parking space; highly invested; serious-minded, heavy lifting, work-load efforts, by managers; some: generally overall affordable price levels; cushy ambiance; Turkish, commonly warm hospitality; flair; &, panache; Seasonal, bi-monthly, live-music nights; quiet, yet; conscientous enthusiasm; reasonable, negotiative; &, fair bill-payment handling; noticable, high desire to communicate; recognizable concern for detail; sincere attempts to make: real; sensible; &, rather good accomodations; ->etc.I saw; that all around, currently, these can't easily be equalled elsewhere; (altho, nothing; &, ->no ->place; is >>ever, ->perfect; really!; that's for sure; anytime; &, anywhere; including here;...i.e.: >some, language skills related issues; &, assorted cultural challenges; inconsistent kitchen; &, less than fully reliable; &, dependable staff; or, adopt lax, negligent; &, avoidant behaviors; approaches; &, attitudes;...Etc.; that present themselves; from time to time! “Easily the best Mediterranean restaurant in the area. For that matter on all of Long Island! Spectacular food in a cozy, clean setting. Served by the loveliest family at a reasonable price. When you give Shish Kabob Grill a try you will have no regrets! (5*) Oh! I almost forgot…municipal parking is close by. ?“
“The food is always good. The service was good but they were so overbooked and busy that they could not possibly be as excellent as they usually are. I Hate to not give them an amazing review because I am a regular and always have great service and excellent food there but last night was crazy busy. We waited a very long time to sit and we had reservations for 4 at 7:40lm. We waiting again a long time to get our food order in and then they were out of bronzino so it wasn't the same as usual. But I do highly recommend this restaurant and as I've said, I usually have an amazing overall experience there.“
“This is a favorite stop on our way back from northern Queens. The staff is unusually pleasant and the food is quite generous. I'd like to see another meat offering such as lamb, as I find their meatballs to be rather hard. A good vibe and an attractive eating area, also a plus. Enthusiastically recommended.“
“Since I’ve moved back from Berlin I’ve been scouring the island for the best chicken schwarma/kebab/sandwich/pita, whatever you want to call it. This place was hands down the best I’ve had. The only thing that would make it better was if they had fried halloumi to put in it, but I’ve yet to find a place in the US that does this so it’s no biggie. They don’t usually put hummus in it, but he did for me which I really appreciated. The salad they put on it had a very light oil based dressing that added an awesome taste to it. I was honestly blown away by how good it was. It’s a simple meal/concept, but the majority of places I’ve been to are incredibly subpar, as I am pretty picky. This is my new spot from now on.“
“Haven't been here in a while. Had heard not as good recently. Had been frequent visitors here. Decided to try on Friday. Everything was fantastic. Service spot on. Food delicious and plentiful. Prices seemed a tad higher, but not outrageous. Will return.“
