“SO happy we chose VRock for our little function. I really love the renovations they have made! It is beautiful in there. Perfect for fun or sexy get togethers. And the staff; SO NICE. We had two bartenders and they were very attentive, pleasant, and quite funny. I have not had a chance to try the food yet, but I definitely plan to visit again soon.“

“I’ll preface this by saying that I’ve had garbage plates from Dogtown & Nick’s (the OG). I got a half-plate, which was still a huge portion weighing probably four pounds, with mac’n’homefries and cheeseburger topped with the cinnamon (mild but tasty) meat sauce and “a little bit” of onions, mustard, and ketchup. This was BY FAR the most delicious garbage plate I’ve ever had. I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back here. And it’s less than a 10-minute, quick’n’easy drive from Rochester General Hospital (so skip the Wolfgang Puck despite the convenience). I will add that the young woman who took my order was kind and friendly. The meal “to-go” was ready in less than 4 minutes. And the food was delicious, not at all greasy—literally PERFECT“

“Shared a pizza and a salad on a date night out. Salad wasn't the one we originally ordered but it was okay. Pizza was solid. Unique area. (Village Gate) Service was excellent. If we weren't in a hurry we'd probably have reserved early and ate at standard table instead of the higher chairs near the bar.“

“My husband and I went for a Friday fish fry. At 530 it was busy but the food came out quickly. I had the fish sandwich. I like a beer batter fish more but this was very good. I wouldn’t hesitate to get it again. Of course the root beer is wonderful.“

We were very pleased with the Tenders , French Onion soup and the Burgers ! Even the popcorn was great . The $11.99 lunch menu was perfect . Molly was one step ahead of us whatever we needed and it cost us about HALF of what we paid at Distillery on our previous lunch .

“I love the employees here. I had good conversation with one of the managers. However every single time I order on ubereats I don't get pickles on my burger. I only ever want pickles and ketchup and I don't get my pickles consistently. So friendly staff, but where are my pickles?? ?“

“We planned a special dinner party for ten with the expert help of Mariel, who accommodated all our requests in advance. It was delightful to work with her. Sarah was our server that night and she paced the evening perfectly, with care and enthusiasm. The dining room was busy with a happy vibe throughout the restaurant. The manager Melissa took time to speak to me too. Our friends raved about the delicious food and creative cocktails. A+ experience!

“I love this place. I love these people. I live in the south but I have been wanting to order the famed garbage plate for years. I called ahead because I realized that I was going to arrive two minutes after closing (I drove a long way to get there). They took my order over the phone. For a couple of bucks more they added a couple of hot dogs to the plate. Best hotdogs ever. Fantastic! amazing! It's a long drive but I am already planning my next trip back. Just go there.“

“I got off my closing shift next door and didn’t have anything to eat at home so I decided to stop by shake shack. The wait in line at the drive through was a little long but I didn’t mind since it was late. Got to the window and the man at the register was so kind. He asked me how my day was and gave me a discount when he learned I work next door. We chatted while he applied the discount and ended up giving me a free sandwich coupon. He was so sweet and it really made my night. The burger and fries I got was good too!

About a week later I ended up back there (this time dining in) and the cashier/manager recognized me immediately and helped ring me out. Once again he was really nice and he even remembered that I’m a college student. The chicken sandwich I got was nice and crunchy but also juicy and I love their fries. I got their Yule Log holiday shake and it was fantastic. One of the workers was going around the dining room and interacting with everyone and was also very sweet!

“This is by far the best plate in Rochester!! The garbage plate wrap is AMAZING! They also have a sauce called panther sauce that elevates the plate! The only suggestion I have is they need to figure out the phone situation. I feel like they unplug the phones on purpose so they don’t have to take more orders. This makes it hard when wanting to order ahead, we have to drive there and hope for the best when it comes to a wait time. Other then that I HIGHLY recommend!“

“Today we had a problem with a takeout order at Flaherty's. The order we picked up was inaccurate. We called and the person who answered said to come back in a few minutes. When we returned we were greeted by the manager who offered his apologies for the mishap and offered to give us a free meal for our inconvenience. In summation: A problem resolved! “Bill Gray's in Irondequoit is definitely worth the experience. Is been quite a while since I went there, last summer for a milkshake is a matter of fact. I ordered the great plate this time. Was not disappointed. The food was excellent, person behind the counter did an excellent job. It definitely was one of the smaller Bill Gray's. What I think is well suited for this area. I definitely would request that people go there on Tuesday to get their great plate. A good deal for only $9.99.“

“A "neighborhood bar and grill" with much better food, drinks, and service. I've been there over a hundred times and love the consistency in the experience. The dining room is separate from the bar area if you want a quieter environment, but there are also tables in the bar area and outside. It's also great for take-out - the online ordering is a little flaky (hint: check out as guest and don't try to make an account) but you can always call your order in as well.

“Five Guys always has good food. We grabbed a burgers and fries, and a shake to take back to the hotel room. We were there right before closing, so I'm not sure if that's why they gave us such a enormous amount of French fries, but they gave us about three large cups full in the bag. Far too much for us to eat, so we made the front desk clerk very happy and gave her a 3rd of them.
I haven't eaten at Five Guys in quite a while, but the burger was just as expected, the fries were good, as well the shake, but it was insanely expensive. Like $27 for one burger, a large fries, and a shake. It may be normal for five guys, but it was sticker shock for me.“

“My family of 7 celebrated my daughter's birthday here on Friday, March 4.... a large variety of food choices were ordered by us and everyone was very pleased.Our server was great and very patient; even considering that it was Friday! If you had the burgers too much the grilled cheese add can and tomato with mayo lettuce and pepper is da boom. Grilled veggies if you really want to live.
Or the alll beef hot dog that's bigger than your belly when you add a Chicago dawg salad on top.
