“Dropped in on a whim since parking was available out front. Manager said under new operations and building a new tapas style menu. Food was delicious, steak slightly overcooked but not inedible. Service was good and attentive. Late dinner on weekday, place was empty with only a few of what appeared like friends of staff hanging out at bar. Will not hesitate to visit again and see their progress, seems like they are making the attempt to have a nice resteraunt.“

They are relaxed and eager to please. We were 40 people for a 50th Wedding Aniversary and allowed everyone to order from the menu.
Unheard of to serve hot specialty foods all at once. The dood was Plated with care and artistry. They served amazing Chocolate martinis and catered to everyone's wishes. The pizza looked outstanding!

“I’m literally writing this while I’m still sitting here because these guys deserve a shout-out. I’ve been to a bunch of Dave’s Hot Chicken spots, and this is easily the best one.

I was having a nightmare with the app, and Mohammed took the lead helping me figure the whole thing out. He was patient, never rushed me, and made sure everything was taken care of. Ahnaf was very helpful too, and both of them were friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure I had a great experience.

The whole staff has been awesome. If you’re trying to decide which Dave’s Hot Chicken to go to, make it the 188th Street location in Queens. I’ll definitely be back.“

I did see them checking on us and I know the moved a patron away from us, but they never made us feel uncomfortable and for that I am grateful - I know my guest was a louder than usual friend. Thank you for being patient and accommodating. Food portions are big and delicious and their pancakes are really goo. I should've ordered more because everyone wanted my pancakes 🥞. Randy the owner is not only the nicest guy but a fantastic chef! He and his wife run the business. I had his brisket (at his insistence!) Delicious! Sweet potatoes and collard greens. “Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. He even came over and sang for our party and had us dance which was not expected but a fun surprise that we loved! Overall we had a great event here and I am so happy we chose them to host it!“

“Have heard incredible things about this spot. Parked around the corner on the street before stepping into this quaint restaurant where we were seated right away for lunch. You can put your order in online or just order with the waitress who brought us iced water. For our starter we ordered the Ika which is a whole squid. It was absolutely delicious at an incredible price point. For our mains we ordered the classic ramen as well the gyokai tsukemen. You can never go wrong with the classic ramen. The broth was so rich. Was so surprised to find that dipping noodles were served here. Was feeling the fish based one. Could have ordered even more servings of the jammy egg that was done just right. Did not have any room for dessert but will be back to try the sweet potato cheesecake. Every other table around us ordered a sweet drink from the fruit teas to the sodas. Our waitress was very nice and made it easy to close out.“
