“Stay Away!!! Just kidding, this spot is popular and rightfully so for all the right reasons. The atmosphere is bot chill and warm for lounge lizards wanting a great watering hole. The drinks are fantastic, The Monk Fashioned being my favorite, reminds me of a magical Sazerac. The food here is delicious too, been a couple times and look forward to returning again soon. Love the Sweet And Salty Grilly with Gruyère, Prosciutto, Fig Spread, Arugula on Sour Dough. The Fonduey Mac & Cheese is also a cooze fest of cheesy goodness, also the Whipped Feta with the Everything Bagel Pretzel. Always love to get the Crab Cakes. Though I’m eyeing the Skewered Thighs for next time they look like a divine dine. Fortunately we’ve gotten in without a reservation, though I’m sure it’s good to have one.“

“Excellent atmosphere. Comfy seating, bar seats, or small tables, there’s a spot for anyone. The craft control menu was great, hard to choose which one to try. Extensive list of wines and spirits as well. Gonna have to try some food next time I come visit the city.“

“This is a lovely spot for a quick bite or a drink! Keep in mind on weekdays their bar is not open until 4pm and so it's only the coffee side. The coffee side is self service, including bussing your own plates. But the place is calm, quiet, friendly, and the chopped salad I ordered with fried chicken was quite tasty. “To say Liffy Bar II is a hidden gem is an understatement. For my Birthday I wanted a cute local bar to celebrate with friends and enjoy the evening. Kirby was excellent at communicating with me and kept me informed which was incredibly convenient. Dierdre was so pleasant to speak with and answered any questions I had, and Joe was an amazing Bartender and kept everyone happy. Cheers to a great staff. I cannot recommend this place more. The cocktails were on the pricey side but worth it if you're looking for something beyond the basics. The bartender was knowledgeable and skilled. The environment was low key and pleasant. To find it, go in the unmarked wooden door on the way up to the train tracks. Definitely worthwhile and a place I will come back to when I am in the area.“

“Wife and I flew into JFK late one Friday. We were famished , it was 1030 by the time we got to Arthur Ave.. We parked and walked , came upon people eating alfresco. We asked if any place was still serving. The "MAN" Vic asked what we would like, from one of the tables. In no time we had a bottle of Vino Tinto in front of us and people were making us try food they were dining on. I felt like I was at my friends ,' THE PIAZZAS " house. First of all… The entrance to The Blind Pig is stunning. And the decor is gorgeous. Takes you back into colonial days or even earlier. There’s no other way for me to explain it. Just genius Beautiful artifacts with gorgeous sitting and an electric fire place along with walls filled of stunning 1800s art and style. The servers are very well dressed with a vest and tie. Very nice touch and they are super attentive. This was our very first time here and it was way over and beyond our expectations for sure. We ordered our drinks… Just delicious… I am old school, so I ordered an Old Fashion. Was done to perfection. Let me repeat that… PERFECTION.

After watching my buddy enjoy the hell out of his purple drink… I just had to order one. Wow… That was unbelievable. The next time I come back to this restaurant. I WILL book a room around the corner, because I will be having a “few” of those and won’t make it home, lol! As far as the food. Just Spectacular. Very nice portions with a nice presentation. The atmosphere is just gorgeous. I included pictures.

The owner also owns a bar called “The Crooked Quill.” Which is literally across the street from The Blind Pig. BEAUTIFUL… We crossed the street and took the rest of the party there. WOW… Elegant place for the elegant person. Will be now one of my favorites or possibly my favorite in White Plains. If I could give this place 10 stars I would.

“Delicious food, good service, and a massive selection of agave-based drinks. Lovely ambiance / decor inside, and the dishes/bowls that they use are also lovely (and for sale, apparently). The place is among the most expensive in the neighborhood by a decent margin, but you certainly do feel like you're having an elevated experience (and the food was surprisingly filling).
We started with the trio of moles which were delicious, though the lightest one they offered did taste surprisingly close to vodka / tomato sauce, they provided tortillas which was nice but not nearly enough (we had to ask for more and then they charged us extra for it, despite not giving us enough the first time). The menu is rather short, so make sure there are things you like before going. The tlayuda with added meat was delicious, as were the tacos (which were $10 each) and the fluke aguachile also good (watermelon in summer is always a welcome treat).“

“I come to Lucille’s almost everyday (except Mondays). Doesn’t matter if it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner, their food and drinks is always amazing, service is also great, the place is beautiful overall, Lucille’s one of those hidden gems in the area. I’d recommend the salmon burger & house salad, breakfast sandwich with sausage, wings, turkey sandwich, chicken sandwich, guava and chicken waffle, shrimp & grits. For drinks the spiced sangria , espresso martini, chai latte, sweet tea are great! They also have a good point system so if you go there often, like me, once in a while you’ll get a free drink.“

Easily some of the coziest and warmest vibes and aesthetics I’ve see in a bar in a long, long time. Very reasonable prices (plus a nice happy hour) and it really feels so classy and chic, yet not without heart and character. It’s a beautiful space with grand wall-length windows that look particularly whimsical with the bit of snow and frost left over from last night. The Christmas decorations in particular are very lovely. It’s in a beautiful part of the neighborhood, too! I love to see Hamilton Place growing like this.

The cask ale is such a fun touch, too - and they’ve got a very intentional and strong selection of draft beers, whiskeys, bourbons, and more. Great service and chill staff.

All in all, I think this makes a strong case to be one of my favorite bars in the city. I’ve only taken a few sips of my beer and felt compelled to write this. I only hope this place thrives like it deserves to as a member of the outstanding Uptown Bar community!“
