They are fully halal which is amazing and allows for everyone to enjoy along with the full range of a menu catering to everyone. We were amazed with the quantity and quality of food.Topped it up with Fried Orio ice cream, again absolutely on spot.It is a small takeout place with a 10 seating spots. And the flavors are there, but the sandwich is really just two potato patties on a bun with lettuce, tomato, and onion. The sandwich is messy and underwhelming. I recommend they ditch that and focus on the aloo tikki patties with sauce.I also had the fries without cheese sauce, and thru are delightful either way--with cheese sauce or without.“

“I have ordered One Lamb over Rice with 6 pieces of spicy wings and one Pita on the side.The associate called me as she was preparing my order. I noticed that she was placing Lamb over pita and I corrected her that I ordered Lamb over rice and pita on the side. She was very sure that I ordered Lamb Gyro lol. Anyway she agreed to make a new order. After few minutes she called me. As I approached the counter she placed Lamb over Pita. I gave up. I didn’t feel like correcting her again. “I don't usually leave reviews but I had to for this restaurant. The food is sooo tasty but yet healthy as can be. The customer service is amazing! Door Dash didn't send the confirmation for my delivery to the restaurant and the owner delivered my lunch herself!“

“One of the best north Indian food I have had in a while. Their tandoori chicken is the best. Delicious! Portion size was a little large for an Indian place. Just go and get your food, you won’t regret. The place is fairly easy to get to by subway as well as car.“

“Being in NYC area, we are all use to eating Halal Guys cart and restaurant ONLY and never got a chance to try Shah’s restaurant. My brother took me to this hidden gem over the weekend in Yonkers and I must say that the food was delicious and had its own taste compare to Halal Guys being very blend in taste. I would like to add one more thing that Shah’s food portion is very satisfying not like Halal Guy’s being very small portion. The price tag is very reasonable. I had tried their Mix over Rice, Potato Pakora and Chapli Kabab Platter with Chips and enjoyed it so much. They have their own parking lot so you don’t need to worry about parking at all. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you around the area.“

My wife had a slice of pizza with tomatoes and onions, I had the eggplant parmesan and fried breaded cauliflower and we shared a leafy put together yourself salad and vegetarian sushi. The food was excellent, very tasty and filling. The atmosphere was what you'd expect from a self serve midtown/downtown business lunch place--not a place to take a romantic first date that you want to impress--but we'd highly recommend this restaurant if you want some quick great food at a reasonable price.“

Just one suggestion to the chef/owner.. leave behind tins for your customer to save leftovers. “Food truck specializing in halal food. Hard to find good halal spots in the Morris Park/Indian Village area but this place definitely hits a home run in taste and value. Run by one man, the owner was very friendly and engaged in conversation. Chicken was moist and lamb was tender. Boyfriend and I enjoyed it so much, we went back a few days later and asked if he could make a bigger platter - and he did! (For $2 extra). Food is decently priced (check out menu board pic) and offers other meals such as breakfast. It definitely holds true to its name - a quick bite in the Bronx.“
