“I have been meaning to try this place for a while now and lucky for me, I was down in Elmsford today.

It is a takeout place so don't expect the ambiance of a restaurant. However, the owner is super friendly.

The focaccia bread and mozzarella were homemade and taste it amazing.

They don’t seem bothered to be there and they’re glad you stopped by. In repetitive conversation (that comes along with multiple visits), you see they are exceptional human beings. The service is top notch and the food is great, always fresh. Clean store too. If this location isn’t his/theirs, I hope they franchise their own location soon. They deserve that and more.“

The food is good the service is good only thing I can complain about is it doesn't have a restroom but honestly with that small of a space I wouldn't expect it to have a restroom“

But two guys who work there always nice with me. Orders always ready for pick up, drinks always fixed in the cart box.
Pick up counter always clean.

“Wow, if you want some late night Halal that is super fresh, this is it! Don't be confused by the restaurant name and the food I got. This place sells sandwiches as well as Halal, it's a dual spot called Blimpie & The Gyro King. I got chicken over rice on three different occasions, and each time, it was so fresh (cilantro makes it bomb), service was super friendly, and it was prepared so quickly. When I'm up there again, I'll be back!“

“This is far and away my favorite location. The entire staff is always so nice and efficient and their sandwiches actually look like the picture and the ingredients are always the freshest. “This store is located next to the 6 train. Morrison/Soundview stop. They are open twenty-four hours. Their cold and hot sandwiches are very good. The store is clean. Especially the grill area. When I go back, I'll snap a picture of the menu. They have Lotto, too.“

“I brought 2 blimpies best sandwiches. I was so happy when I realized there is a blimpies 2 minutes from Montefiore hospital. I haven't had my favorite sandwich in years. Blimpies seems to be housed in other stores. Before this time, I found it in a twin donut on 161st and it was 16 dollars. The one on Gunhill and Bainbridge Avenue is in a store named Tasty Picks and was the normal 13 dollars.“

“This place is an awesome and convenience spot and that has great hours. I believe they are 6 or 7:00 a.m. until midnight which is rare these days. And being that my boat is in a marina right down the block it is a truly wonderful place to have. The store is extremely clean. The food is fresh. The beverage selections are great and they even carry ice. What more can you ask for“

“Amsterdam Gourmet is wonderful! I've stayed across the street from it 17 nights in the last year, and I am well supplied with all kinds of deli food, fresh fruits, milk, yogurt, etc. Extra special. Can eat at a counter there, or take out.“

I would have given 5 stars but they do not open at 830am like this says(or their door) they always seem to open by 10am. No complaints just would like that to be updated if its not accurate. “This is maybe the only subway I've ever gone to that regularly seems overstaffed, not horribly understaffed. This place will get busy but they work hard to keep it moving. Always ready with pickup orders and have a good track record for accuracy. This is a solid franchise location.“

The man that answered offered me his bosses cell number as my order was to BIG to take during the “lunch rush” hour . I was placed on hold and Crystal joined the call.
