Especially the bartender Stephanie she’s become like a home away from home. She makes the best original drinks. “We came to get takeout for our anniversary and we were not disappointed! Mercedes and Team are so kind and generous and the food matched their energy - clearly made with love! We had the fish plate with 2 sides (Mac and cheese and coleslaw) the fried chicken plate with 2 sides (Mac and cheese and potato salad) and their dessert - coconut pineapple cake in a cup. All the food was excellent, especially the fried fish. Beautifully seasoned and prepared! Mac and cheese is very flavorful and cheesy. Both the salads were good and I look forward to trying more sides! The desserts were phenomenal and we even got to try the sweet potato cheesecake which is SUBLIME and some sweet potato cornbread which was heavenly! You can be sure we will be back again!“

I had the Burnt Ends, the dish was perfectly executed and I hadn’t had a more perfectly paired food on plate experience in a long time with that quality in a long time. “Pretty to think so is a great dining option in Rhinebeck with an interesting menu of food and drinks, and a great vibe. The seating is limited, and creates an intimate space. Our seats offered a great view of the bar where the bartender was creating magnificent cocktails and it was delightful to see her in action!

The food was generally excellent. The honey roasted carrots were our favorite, and the roasted chicken was also very good. The sweet corn risotto didn't appear very appetizing but the dish itself was delicious. The blood orange Moscow Mule was also good. The Shrimp cocktail was also quite good!

All in all, we had a great experience and would highly recommend it!“

French & Continental cuisine, pleas read on! I am Phildo the foodie and have lived & dined in the Hudson Valley for more than 40 years. I passed this place up too many times and decided to give it a whirl.
The food is super fresh. Homemade warm biscuits started our meal off complimented by a bowl of TO DIE FOR Vichyssoise soup. The soup rivaled those In Montreal & Quebec City. Perfect balance of flavors and the broth was light and filling.
My main course, Seafood in a saffron lobster broth was perfect. Large diver scallops, PEI mussels, fresh clams and shrimp. Seafood was very fresh and delicious. The broth was velvety , smooth but bursting with flavor with hints of garlic, celery and tomato.
My wife had the Seafood crepe. Diver scallops, shrimp, mushrooms and chives . The crepe was cooking perfectly and the creamy wine sauce was absolutely perfect.
The portions are very filling what we would expect at a relaxed atmosphere establishment. The entree prices were not expensive and the 16 ounce Delmonico steak special was less expensive than a steak house and was a hit
around the room.
I can't wait to go back and sample some more of their great food.“

“My husband and I took a little day trip from Albany today with no real destination in mind, besides checking out Samuels Sweet Shop. As we drove through town, your restaurant caught our eye! After asking the sweet clerk at Sam’s how your food was, we decided to have lunch on her suggestion. And we are so glad we did! The interior of the restaurant is very nice and it was so warm and cozy as we entered. Your staff were wonderful. We each had a drink… I had a Bellini and he chose a beer. Our server was nice enough to look up the brewery his beer was from for us too (nice added touch that he didn’t have to do) We started our meal with calamari. The breading was so delicious and not heavy and the pineapple dipping sauce was a tasty surprise. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich and he opted for steak. My chicken was the perfect blend of hot and sweet and so good. My husband’s steak was perfectly and we both enjoyed the horseradish sauce it was served with. Both served with your homemade shoestring fries. Both, so good! We had a lovely time sitting and conversing. Your waitstaff checking in just enough to make sure we were taken care of and not pushy to get us out. Overall we loved it! We can’t wait to come back in warm weather and try your outdoor seating. I wish I had gotten our servers name, as he deserves the kudos for being so pleasant!“

“Usually offers good bread. But is very wishy washy on their "old bread sales" prices. If it's a day old it should be discounted - period. (I have worked for almost four years in a bakery) This is being aggregated by the fact that I was not notified of this pricing structure when I asked for day old bread (with the specific intend to get a discount for something that is not fresh and won't last me as long). Had I been informed about this, I would have just bought the same bread *fresh* - for the *same price*. I feel that the omission of this fact is even done purposely to mislead customers.“

“The salad was really good and the yellow baby tomatoes are the sweetest ones I've ever eaten, especially out of season. Loved the little lady that worked the counter and wish her well in school! She advised me to hang onto the salad dressing on top so it wouldn't hit the floor and sure enough two people heading outdoors lost theirs back to back and she stayed cleaning it up. “My wife and I ate there for the first time. Food was very good and plentiful. Service could have been a smidgen better. Waitress was nice and polite but should have checked at least once for drink refills. I tried to make reservations for my car club to come there on a given Sunday and time in May, about 10 of us, but was told they don't do that. I guess it's first come, first serve for seating. We want to eat together and would arrive about 1:30PM. I thought we could secure the back room, but no was the answer. It's ok. I understand. No hard feelings. If we were in that area again, we would eat there. We'll just look for another place in Rosendale. Best wishes to that facility.“

The waitress was really nice and even brought our dog some water, and she was super patient with our party. Our group ordered a few items, including some drinks, and everything was good and filling. The atmosphere was really nice. Since it was later in the evening parking was free. The menu had a good selection of Gluten-free items. Chicken wrap, Stuffed Shrimp, Angus burger, pear slaw, fries. All very good.

“Picked up an awesome meal last night from here. I was amazed that everything was accounted for and they didn't skimp on anything. Was a very pleasant experience and the food was very good. Also very reasonably priced. The woman at the to go counter was very nice too. She does a good job. I wish I would've tipped more now, but now I know for next time. Most places always forget something or mess up something, but my dinner was spot on. My order was ready right on time as well.“

With a wide variety of great food to choose from there is something for everyone. There is also a great selection of drink to choose from as well.
