My wife and I have been going here for a while and have never had a bad or lackluster experience. “We had a nice dinner, but not worth going out of your way to stop here. The space itself fits the vibe with a clean and bright indoor dining area and sunny outdoor patio that all fit a tavern theme. The menu follows suit with pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, a few entrees, and a daily special option.
For a sunny Friday night, patio space was packed and lively. Indoors was much more peaceful and we were sat without a wait.
We were pleasantly surprised with the flavor and portion sizes of both the beer battered fish fry and the Ring of Fire burger. The chips were well seasoned and nicely crispy too. Staff were pleasant and prices weren't anything out of the ordinary for such a meal.
All in all, it's good but not revolutionary.“

“Wonderful. We stopped here on the way home to Amherst after frisbee golf at Kissing Bridge. It saved me from having to make dinner at a very late hour, and they were so accommodating. We had a party of six total, and the food was cooked to perfection. Great chicken finger subs, garlic parm wings, buffalo chicken wrap and bacon cheeseburger. On the ride home, our youngest kept talking about how good the food was 😄. Highly recommend...we will return!“

“Visited for the first time with my mom on 1/31/26. Friendly, hard working host sat us within 10 minutes. We ordered a drink at the bar and chatted with the bartender, he was fluent in the menu and preparations. Our server was equally informative, she was very busy, only wished we had a bit more attention but, it was a busy Saturday. We ordered the Meatloaf Tower and the Shrimp and Scallop dinners. Both were very good, served with warm bread, salad and side. Meatloaf was a bit dense but good, Shrimp and Scallops were cooked to perfection in a garlicky butter and the vegetables with that dish were outstanding.“

“Stopped in to get some food because the kids were hungry. I went in by myself first to make sure it was a family friendly place. The bartender was also the cook for the day and she assured me it was fine and seated us in the back. The food was fantastic and she was very efficient and friendly. “My family and I happened to stop by Hamburg after a day at Niagara Falls and Augie’s were open right as we passed by around 11:15.
All I can say is we were all glad we decided not to go to McDonalds over this one.
Parking was readily available in a public lot nearby and walking into the restaurant, we were greeted with a warm space-themed atmosphere.
We ordered multiple Sizzle Burgers (which were only $5 Monday), a spicy chicken burger, and a Cora Explorer (upon our amazing cashier’s recommendation) for burgers alongside poutine and fries.
The burgers were delicious, served with fresh ingredients and offering a very comfortably handheld yet filling portion size. The fries were crispy and abundant.
The peak of the brunch, however, would be the Chocolate Milkshake just short of 10 bucks.
I can comfortably say this was the best milkshake I might have ever had. Rich with chocolate, cold and refreshing, and a generous amount of cream without being ridiculously heavy.
The last highlight was the lovely young lady taking our orders. She was very helpful and patient (not to mention just minutes after opening) throughout the process of ordering and her recommendations all proved to be excellent.
On my three day trip throughout Buffalo and the Niagara Falls, Augie’s is the only restaurant in which all 6 party members left fulfilled and wishing to return another time!“
