“Pretty, simple and early American style farmhouse overlooking the tranquil fields between Auburn and Skaneatales serves sophisticated, new American cuisine with the freshest ingredients. (The family's farm stand opens nearby in summer so they know fresh ... ) We loved our delicately spiced duck and crab-stuffed haddock dishes with perfectly cooked asparagus! Had a yummy house made pizza with artichoke hearts to start. Our wait person recommended the Thirsty Owl Riesling to pair with them, great choice. Desserts sounded amazing but we could not eat any more!!“

“Food was good. Service was great. Atmosphere? It was small though not busy when we visited but the seating options were limited. Nothing more than a 4 Top to be seen. Chairs were uncomfortable for the shorter members of our party of 5. We'll go back though.“

“This is your quintessential family restaurant in the heart of America. Everything from meatloaf to lasagna, stuffed pork chops to burgers. We had 1 strawberry shake that was enough for 2 people & if you are still hungry they have many pies for dessert. I think our waitress was one of the owners. They took good care of us with their American comfort food! Very economical & worth the stop!“

“The place was really cozy inside and it felt very welcoming. The food was great. My muffin breakfast sandwich was terrific, way better than a McDonald's sandwich. My children really enjoyed their pancakes which the waitress happily split for them to share. The coffee was hot and freshened regularly. Overall, I would say this is a great option if you happen to be in the area and looking for a breakfast place.Parking: You won't have a problem finding a spot.Kid-friendliness: Our kids had a great time here and seemed very family friendly. Would recommend bringing kids here.“

“My best friend, my husband and I went there for an event they had in July last year and they had a bunch of vendors, food trucks etc. But the beverages they had on site were amazing! I'm not a huge beer person but man, they were fresh and yummy. It's such a nice atmosphere as well. And friendly staff always“

“This is now under new management and is called Fireside by the River and we have eaten here now a few times in the last month. The food was absolutely amazing. The prime rib was cooked to perfection and the flavor was out of this world. The French Onion soup, scallops, crab cakes and shrimp and grits were all out of this world. Great selection of cocktails and the service was top notch. This is a must try if you have not yet! Highly recommend!“

“I had a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner here and I will be back, but I'll be honest, I wasn't excited about going here. I left so pleasantly surprised after a terrific experience. So, the resteraunt is inside of an old house on a beautiful piece of farm land. It's clearly an older house, which I believe is historic. The inside was dated, but well maintained and very clean. By the end of the experience, I totally understood it. It was a vibe. It reminded me of resteraunts from the 90s, but everything was well maintained and again, very clean. The background music was an eclectic mix of 80s and 90s love songs (it was Valentines Day after all). So, initially I was hesitant based on the menu. It was full of classic dining dishes. There was nothing modern or innovative. BUT they pull off the classics very well and reminded us just why the classics are the classics. Very well done, Chef. We had the Beef Wellington, Lobster Bisque, French Onion Soup, the Calamari Special, a Baked Shrimp and Crab dish, and a Triple Chocolate Cake and Pecan Cheesecake. The main courses came with a salad, which we substituted for the Cesar Salad. The soups were terrific. No complaints. Bold and full of flavor. They tasted exactly how they're supposed to taste. The Calamari special was different. The Calamari was cut into strips. Lightly flash fried and seasoned well. It was paired with a unique sauce. I have to be honest, I don't remember what it was, but I really enjoyed it. The main courses had a basic plating. Based on appearances, I would have said, "ehhhh." The dishes were however executed very well. The Beef Wellington was excellent. Chef Gordon Ramsey would have approved. The Baked Shrimp and Crab was good, the flavor was there, but the shrimp were just slightly over cooked...which is very easy to do, so I'm not going to knock them too hard on this. It wasn't enough to ruin the dish. The Cesar Salad tasted exactly as it should. I would get it again. As for the deserts, I really enjoyed both. The cheesecake was surprisingly light, which was great because after a heavier meal I wasn't sure I could do desert. The crust was made up of pecans. It was great. If you like pecans you will like this. Now the triple chocolate cake. Decadent. Death by chocolate. Loved it. Lastly, I just want to touch on the service. Everyone was very friendly and professional - from coat check, to hostess, to our server (whose name I forgot!). Our server really helped make this a special night. Attentive, professional, and personable. I'll def. be back. I want to take my parents here when they visit.“
“Stopped today to enjoy an outdoor meal on a nice day. Was not sure what to expect food-wise. Pleasantly surprised ! The burgers are fabulous, the "pudder" burger was made to order, cooked to perfection, and the toppings were extremely fresh. While my wife had ice cream for dessert, I had another pudder burger ! My new fav place for a burgers“

“Moro's Table is a regular on our dining rotation, but may get slotted more frequently after trying the week's special "polpo". The octopus appetizer was perfectly cooked to a sublime tenderness, grilled, and served with asiago potato slices and an ancho-guajillo sauce. It brought us back a few nights later for a second go-around, and our guests, new to octopus, raved as well. Dinner on our first visit include seared scallops, perfectly cooked and plump and flavorful, and on our second visit pan-seared sablefish and a medium-rare ribeye. Chef Ryan is doing a wonderful job in the kitchen, and all of our menu items and specials have been delicious. We were fortunate to have Josh as our server, and our bartender. The Sidecars were delicious, and his dinner suggestions a hit.If you've never tried grilled octopus, this is the place to try it. We're hoping it finds its way onto the regular menu. Their legendary braised beef short ribs are an easy "go to", but the specials are at least as compelling.“

“Best breakfast in Auburn!! My Nucor teammates recommended me to visit here & im so glad I did! I got to sit next to the owner at the counter & he shared his story & also had me try honey in my coffee instead of sugar. Breakfast was absolutely delicious & the service was awesome!“

“Go Here. We started with the fish appetizer plenty of fresh and hot with a dilly tartar dip. 5/5 would recommend. I got the Birds and the Bees (chicken and waffles) perfect portions, not too much chicken not too much waffle. The chicken was crispy the waffle was crisp with a fluffy center. The hot honey dressing complimented the plate and the extra was great for dipping the sweet potato fries. Pickles on top were a great finisher and made balance the sweet and hot.My counter-part (my dad) had never had osso bucco, but as a farmer who knows meats states it was great fall off the bone tender with a great gravy.“
“You must visit this pure gem of a lounge. Bands are fantastic, easy crowd to mingle with and be comfortable around and Lynn is the absolute best bartender/ owner I have had the pleasure to meet in all my years being in the restaurant business myself. Truly an enjoyable evening out and I look forward to many more!!“

“Busy decor - could sit there for a couple hours and not register everything adorning this place. Server was friendly and attentive. Only had finger foods, but it was good. The spiked hot cocoa was delicious, and perfect on a cold snowy day, but was more expensive than I expected, so a little sticker shock when the bill came. Would go back though; fun place.“

“A+ eatery in all regards. I’ve begun bringing my vegetarian teen in regularly for special 1x1 days. I’ve loved every menu item I’ve ordered, as has my teen. The atmosphere is wonderful. The lighting is bright. The dining area is spacious and quiet. This is an excellent place to grab a cup of coffee and have a peaceful moment. And how wonderful that proceeds benefit the theater (scholarships for students). Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Great food, even for teens!“

“I never write reviews but have now found a reason to recognize on of the finest restaurants I've ever experienced! everyone who knows me will say I quite often criticize food or cleanlines. the food was a 20 out of 10! amazing and can't believe how slow it was yesterday (Sunday) at noon. everything was outstanding, neither overcooked or undercooked. best riggies I've ever had as shrimp are Reef Riggies instead of Chicken. Well worth the trip to experience, not all that far from Syracuse... I just can't stop talking about this place and recommend to everyoneI“

“Lovely place my sister discovered and recommended. I had the chicken broccoli Alfredo dish, and my husband had the quesadillas. It was a very large platter and was good since I like garlic, but if you don't, that wouldn't be the dish for you! I tried their root beer, and it too was very good. My husband has the black tea and thought it could have been a touch sweeter. We were too full to try the ice cream.“
