“The portions here are huge! For the noodle soup, you can actually see them hand pulling the noodles to order, which is pretty rare these days since most places use machines instead. Hand pulled noodles just have that perfect chewy texture.
The beef malatang is really good too. As for the scallion pancakes, they’re a bit too oily for my taste. The environment isn’t the cleanest since everything is self-service, but overall, the food definitely makes up for it.“

“Very fresh, authentic Chinese cuisine. Service was good (slow at first), but friendly and attentive. So glad to have a good Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood!“

“Real ones know Queens don’t play about food.
Pulled up to Shun Wang in Elmhurst and went full savage mode on some real Cantonese classics. No fancy vibes, just serious flavor.
Roast Pig over rice? Crispy, juicy, zero mercy.
Roasted duck over white rice? Illegal levels of good.
Pork wonton noodle soup? Broth so rich it pays rent.
This is traditional Cantonese done the right way — friendly staff, big portions, no nonsense.
If you’re in Queens and not eating here, that’s on you.
Dine in or take out… just don’t miss it. 🍚🔥“

“I love it very cheap and delicious! PERFECT if you're starving and want a big cheap lunch.
Most low range Chinese restaurants around the city have almost identical menus and food. This one is no different but is even cheaper than the rest. $10.75 for a quart of lo mein! Perfect for take out. Very filling and perfect for a big lunch.“

“One of the best Chinese food spots in the area. The food is great quality and very tasty Nice customer service, accepts debit card payments and even delivered food to me even though I live all the way in Maspeth. I had their food through out my life but I will be ordering chinese food from them more often.“

“There very kind and easy going, only funny complaints is they give me no forks when I order takes out but to be fair I have my own fork and knife but still the gesture would be nice but this was at first but they have gotten better, I would recommend this place 100%“

“Shanghai people are not very adaptable to the name change. It is originally Shanghai style, and it does have Shanghai flavor. It tastes like home. After all, the boss is also a Shanghainese. I don’t know why Shanghai cuisine’s four dishes and one soup were directly renamed Wenzhou Restaurant. . Now back to dine in. Five years ago, food cost five yuan, but now it has risen to eight yuan. It’s not easy for everyone.“

“INCREDIBLE. What a gem of a place and credit to the Tibetan community!! Absolutely wonderful service, unlike so many food places in New York I felt genuinely and deeply welcomed here. Food was unique and delicious, and prices were affordable without compromising on the heartiness of the meal and wholeness of the experience. Would DEFINITELY come here again!!!“
