“This was the first time I had been to Rippers in eight years and it is still as good as it was in 2015. The burgers are so flavorful and juicy and came with a special sauce with cheese, lettuce and tomato. It tasted so good. The Fries were topped with salt, pepper and spices. They really have a great flavor and really don't need ketchup. The one thing is that they give you a very generous portion and are perfect for sharing. The view of the shore is amazing and it is nice to hear the waves crashing while you are eating. It puts you in the mood and you can just relax.“

“We three ate here today. Tony, visiting from Ireland, and I each had the 1/2 rack of ribs which we both agreed was excellant, fall off the bone good. I had as my 2 sides collard greens and corn. Both sides were very good, seemed to have a slight pickled flavor and went down easily. She had the pulled pork sandwich, which she found excellent to include the thin bread, and she had to have the bread pudding for dessert, which was topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, so we had to help her finish it as it was too big for one person! Definitely the best rib place for both ribs and sides, we look forward to returning. The interior may seem a bit small but in the good sunny sumertime they have outdoor seating for well over a hundred diners. There's plenty of free parking, it's all located in the area behind Fairchild's Funeral parlor. The service is friendly and timely. I am in the Restaurant business and have been for the past 35 years. To be quite honest it is really hard for any establishment to float my boat, especially in this day and age. As Server Jamal was phenomenal, very professional, and understanding. I arrived with a Guest a bit late for a Sunday evening and still was treated like royalty. The Chef even came out to adhere to some requests which I found simply unparalleled. From start to finish it was an epic journey of culinary perfection and straight-out perfect Hospitality. “The new ownership is just what this Mineola institution needed to refresh its brand. The staff is friendly/laissez-faire in that typical "Long Island" way (if you live here, you get it). The bar side can be a bit cramped on busy nights but the restaurant side is very spacious. The copious number of TVs make it ideal for Sunday football and they do occasionally rent the space for private events. The menu has been updated and upgraded but still retains that bar food charm. The wings are of the well-done variety, if you like that and are plenty spicy (although, your taste may vary). I enjoyed the addition of hot pepper flakes on their hottest wings. The baked clams, giant pretzel and quesadillas are perfect apps while the full menu is surprisingly extensive with meatloaf, pot and Sheppard's pie, and a triple meat blend burger that knocks it out of the park. Prior to my last visit, it had been years since visiting Cornerstone and I'm glad I found my way back to this solid neighborhood pub.“

From Trini Chinese fried chicken, to doubles, to pone, chubby, shandy, and everything else that you'd want to enjoy. Since my first visit, I've remained loyal to Singh's.My last visit this past weekend, I didn't have the time to get over to their location, so instead I ordered on UberEats, grimacing at the $6.99 delivery fee. I placed my order at 6:30 a.m., since they open at 6 a.m. and received my order within an hour, delivered by a very polite young man. The food was packed very well - there was no spillage which I was expecting from the curry.I ordered pholourie (which came with TWO tasty tamarind sauces), 2 doubles, and one boneless chicken dhal puri roti. Everything tasted just like I remembered it to be. I packed some to take back with me to COS to extend the pleasure of the meal. “Ordered from this place for the 1st time and eventhough i only live about 10 minutes away it took the uber driver 23 minutes to get the order to me..... even with that being said, the food came hot and it was delicious. The only thing i wish is that they would supply the utensils needed to crack open the crabs but if you have some industrial scissors and a good hammer and forks you can make it work. I would absolutely recommend this place even for ordering if you live near by it is worth it. next time i want a seafood boil i will go to this location in person to be able to experience the restaurant itself, the staff, and the service.“
