Today I went for a lobster roll which replaced the shrimp roll. last year this lobster was so delicious 😋 couldn't wait till the summer. unfortunately, I was highly disappointed. it is not longer on a garlic bun and now served on a plain hot dog bun :( also flavorless! last yr price was $24 and now up to $28 with no flavor and blah bun. please bring back the recipe from years before. thanks“

“The Davenport Press in Mineola NY has been around for many years, and I just had the opportunity to go there for the very first time. I absolutely loved it. The ambiance is wonderful.. it's like a trip back in time. White tablecloths, the most exceptional staff and service and last but certainly not least the food was amazing. I had the lobster tails and my husband had the prime rib, both were delicious. I hope the Davenport stays with us for a long time to come.. I give it a ten out of ten and then some.“

They went all out with a birthday sign on the table and a card with a gift of a free flatbread next time I come in! I tried something new, wood grilled tenderloin salad which was so delicious. My favorite cut of meat so fat is the snowflake beef. It’s fatty, buttery and tender. The kimchi is amazing as well. Customer service is great. They leave you alone while still being attentive. And just in case they aren’t around, there’s a call bell. The seating is very private. They have booths that can close for even more privacy. The booths seat 6. Definitely recommend!“
