“Breakfast was amazing. I ordered the (#2) sage sausage home-fries. My server (cathy) blew my mind away from the conversation to the coffee. Her salmon croquettes were everything she said they would be.The coffee shop still has that relaxing atmosphere that you will expect from a small town diner. “First off the food here is AMAZING! I stop by at least once a week to get my favorite acai bowl: “The Boratella”. The flavors blend so well together in your mouth and it always makes you want more. The atmosphere is very modern and they keep the place very clean and tidy. Often times I dine in but recently i’ve been opting for take out/ delivery because of a faint “clean” smell in the back of the restaurant. Im not sure where it’s coming from but its off putting for me, hopefully they can work that out in the near future, other than that 10/10 establishment!“

“A lot of traffic comes here. But I’m beautiful sunny days. I love it. The staff is well informed skillful, and professional. However, their greens are soggy and old, they used they should invest in fresh greens more often. Because this brings down the value of the food and the integrity of the staff, in my opinion. To the other end, they are kind, approachable, and understanding. I always go back for the drinks because they are so delicious and I know they are healthy and vegan. I do love coming here.

“I just had the best egg salad sandwich of my life here. (It looked so good that I dove right in and forgot to take a picture). Huge amount of egg salad, creamy, delicious. This deli is small and looks like the kind of place that has been there for many years-in a good way. As soon as you walk in, you just know it's going to be good. The two women who work there were very friendly. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back for an egg sandwich, which seem to be their specialty judging from their online menu and the smell of eggs wafting through the store.“

“I LOVE this little place in Hewlett, I stop by once in awhile on a lunch break from where I work. They have a wide range of menu choices and everything that I've tried here I love. It's like Hewlett's little diner. I came here once with a guy I was briefly seeing after I had begun my divorce process. We ended up discontinuing seeing each other but we remained friends until he sadly died from covid. I like coming here sometimes because it helps me remember him, being in a spot where we once hung out for an hour. I've taken one of my friends here too she loves it. If you're in the area and it's open this is worth stopping in. The prices are incredibly reasonable as well which is very hard to find now.

This morning we spent $70+ on breakfast pancakes, so at first I thought I heard her wrong. She was very kind and personable allowing my wife and I to sample the chai latte as we were unsure what we wanted. It was delicious as was everything else. “This location is great! I ordered a smoothie after a wisdom tooth surgery and they were kind enough to make it thicker and add a spoon for my comfort as well as included any left over smoothie in a small cup to wish me a great recovery! The smoothie was great and made exactly to my liking. Amazing staff, will order from then any time!“

I was more surprised by how delicious the food was. True classic crispy fries and a delicious buffalo chicken panini. I will definitely come back and try something different.

“The people that work here at nice, and the coffee is good. I think there are definitely things about this cafe that could use improving though. First of all, the seats as well as the tables are WAY too small and this is coming from someone 5’1”. This isn’t very inclusive at all for people who maybe taller or in a larger body. They’re uncomfortable as well. Secondly, there’s no bathroom. I understand New York State says only places with 19 chairs and up need a bathroom but it’s inconvenient when they serve both food and drink to not have a bathroom. Thirdly, the prices are astronomical and although the coffee is good and food is ok, i don’t understand the high price point. Lastly, some of the baristas may need more training because they have served me a cortado in a macchiato cup TWICE. a cortado is 4 oz.
All in all, this place has potential but doesn’t hit the mark. To the owner:: research what successful coffee shops in Brooklyn are doing. Bathroom, inclusive environment, free water, and competitive pricing.“

“Lovely cute cafe decorated with houseplants. I ordered a latte with oat milk, iced chai late and a breakfast burrito. The drinks were delicious, the cafe has all types of flavors like toffee or hazelnut for your drinks. The breakfast burrito was the best burrito I ever had. It was soft and well seasoned without being overbearing. The egg, beans and rice in the burrito really complimented each other. I really enjoyed my visit at Meadows Cafe.

“Ok so this place is in this odd building off of JFK, looks like an office building. The coffee place is not very visible, but it's there. Might look a little jank from the outside but, trust me, just go in, you'll see the food & snacks & coffee.I had a very hearty pernil sandwich. Coffee is very good (they roast it themselves). I feel like I found a closet that leads to the Narnia of humble breakfast/lunch spots. Will definitely be coming back whenever I land in JFK.
