“We were visiting NY and stopped at this restaurant on a Saturday morning. The food is by weight and can be expensive depending on what you choose. It's self service in that you have to put on gloves and serve yourself depending on what dish peaks your interest. I had green banana, ackee and Saltfish and spinach and absolutely enjoyed it. My husband had the Chilli (I believe) chicken, jerk chicken and sweet potatoes and he seemed to enjoy it. I'm a bit surprised by the other reviews but I can only speak for what I got and I thoroughly enjoyed it.“

“Food is amazing, I can say that. However, they have raised their prices on the meals, but never have plantains. This is the only restaurant that does that, and you’ll still pay the price. That’s bad business. Usually a Jamaican restaurant serves with two sides vegetables and plantains. However food is good, but you’ll never get a full plate of food sometimes, they’ll short you.“
