“This is an adorable cafe where every dish is full of delicious flavor and the service is extremely friendly. If you’re not sure you’ll like something, they offer a sample and then the only problem is deciding because each dish is tastier than the first! You can’t go wrong!“

“I was unfamiliar with this restaurant, but my husband received a gift card from his colleagues at his retirement party. We came for Valentine's Day and were very pleased with the choice! We started with Old Fashioned and Fried Green Tomatoes. Perfect batter and crunch. The bacon jam gave the perfect amount of bite. Mr. TSwi had fish (sorry - no photo). I had the garlic clove stuffed filet. It was fork-tender and so delicious. Potatoes fried in tallow butter were decadent. We had the Bread Pudding for dessert - and the leftover for breakfast Sunday morning. Overall, great value for the quality of the food. Not ridiculously expensive. Not ostentatious (TSwi wore jeans and a blazer and was well-dressed compared to others.) We will look forward to coming back again soon.“

“Ryry's catered a conference lunch for us for about 100 people and it was delicious food and a very professional experience. They were super responsive over phone and email, made helpful suggestions about planning the menu, answered questions about allergens, and overall were so kind each time we spoke. People could not stop saying how good the food was--and they were right! My only regret is that since I was running the conference I didn't get to eat as much of the food as I would have liked! We will definitely use Ryry's again for future events.“

We ate here and they had a wide variety of food options from doubles, cook up, bake and salt fish and various curries paired with The best tasting roti I have had in a long time. We ended it all off with some very tasty Pastries that are homemade in store. The owner Serita is very hospitable and made sure we had everything and that we were well taken care of! If you are ever in the Queens/Long Island area I highly encourage you to stop in for a hearty meal“

“Went there last night to pick up dinner. It was busy. I ordered the jerk chicken rasta pasta and it was bomb.com! I didnt expect it to be this good. My husband ordered the 6$ bag from the too good to go app and he got 2 plates of fried chicken with rice and chicken curry. The curry and rice was ok. I liked the fried chicken. But 2 plates for 6$! “We catered from Trini Bites for a brunch with friends to celebrate our recent wedding. Working with Renee was an absolute pleasure. From start to finish, she was attentive and responsive. We knew we wanted to cater Trini food as my husband is Trini and I felt the stakes were high to make sure everything went well! And Renee delivered on every front.

The food was an absolute smash hit -- no tray was left untouched or unpolished, and we even sent folks home with to-go containers as they loved the food so much. Particular favorites were the stew chicken, the buss up shot, the mini doubles, and the curry chana and potatoes. Renee made sure that our dietary preferences were met, which was no small feat as we had vegetarians, vegans, kosher-observant (no shellfish), and halal-observant (no pork or pork byproducts) in attendance!

If you've ever been curious Trini food or simply want to serve something different for your party or gathering, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend working with Renee and Trini Bites at all.“

“Great little local spot I found on my FB timeline feed and decided to go myself for the Wednesday happy hour. I got the calamari spicy wings and coconut margarita. The wings were a little tough but very spicy the ranch dressing is definitely needed. The calamari was delicious fried to perfection with good sauce on the side, just wish they added lemon wedge. “I've only had breakfast food and it was delicious. Sometimes the saltfish is a hit or miss. sometimes the cook throws a little seasoning in which makes it taste so much better and sometimes they don't and it just taste like reg saltfish. Otherwise food is yummy!“

“When I walked into the restaurant, I was not welcomed at all. The person taking my order was very disrespectful, when all I wanted to do was order my food and get to work. The food presentation was horrible — everything was thrown together and looked very sloppy. The food itself was not bad, but the presentation and customer service were extremely disappointing.

You guys really need to work on your customer service and how you treat people when they come into your establishment. A little respect and professionalism goes a long way.“
