“Had takeout and food was much better than before. All dishes were excellent. Also they stopped using styrofoam which is why I originally stopped getting takeout. We had spring rolls, chicken satay, pad Thai, and chicken cashew entree. I wonder if they have new owners.“
“Was a little skeptical walking in, but it turned out to be worth the wait. The food was hot and tasted fresh and delicious. If you like crab and shrimp, then this buffet is for you. Will definitely be going again next time we are in the area.“
“Food (5/5): - Ordered the summer rolls and the pho tai - Enjoyed both! Portions were huge Service (4.5/5): - Mostly a self service type of place but they were kind and friendly! They didn't really stop by our table too often but they did give us water refills at some point Ambiance (5/5): - This is just to ur typical casual mom and pop chain. Nothing too fancy or intimate“
“We loved our dinner here, the service was excellent (friendly, unobtrusive, someone always present when you needed anything). Ordered a recommended bottle of cold saki and it was perfect. Didn't order any sashimi, but found every roll (mostly raw) to be generous with fish and avocado, the sauces to be well seasoned (vs overly sweet or mayo-y). We ordered a lot, including pepper tuna which was different (lightly pepper seared tuna served over seaweed salad) and really good. Compared to other places of similar quality, this is also the most reasonably priced sushi we have had in the last 3 years. Definitely going back when in area.“
“The appetizers were amazing. We ordered the spicy wings which had a great crunch and were fresh and tender. For the entrees we got ginger stir fry and pad gra prow. The pad gra pow had a lot more sauce so it was more flavorful but overall the entrees were pleasing. The dessert was delicious. The fried banana tasted like crème brûlée and was portioned great. The mango was not as flavorful but still very good. We went on a Wednesday so it was chill and quiet so we felt we had to whisper but maybe with more people it would not be that way. Overall, highly recommend and will be returning.“
“took a day trip up to newburgh/beacon from nyc and was really craving chinese food and found this spot. we got general tso's and crab rangoon. good portion sizes and well-seasoned, not too saucy. definitely want to come back just for the general tso's!“
“As I walked inside this Japanese restaurant it is decorated in dark woods so I immediately felt like I was in a Japanese spa. I was immediately greeted and seated. I had stopped in for lunch and ordered a chicken udon soup and a small sake. My first time trying sake, I have nothing to compare to but I did enjoy it as it sat well in my stomach. The broth was light, fresh mushrooms, carrots and bok choy. There was half hard boiled egg. On the side was hot pepper oil to give my soup a kick. I also added soy sauce for added flavor. The bowl was a good size as I was able to finish it completely. Their restrooms are very clean and parking was a free city lot across the street. No meters on the street but parking wasn't available.“
“When children are doing school work behind the counter, you know it's a good spot to eat.Seriously though, they are the best in, not just the area, but the surrounding areas.Broth is always on point with their soups, food is always fresh.“
“The perfect place !!!The food was delicious, everything was very fresh. The very welcoming atmosphere, and the excellent service, the waiters are very attentive and friendly, especially the chef who is behind the counter very attentive and always willing to answer our concerns, very good service. IT'S AN EXCELLENT PLACE“
“Nice little Thai spot. While we enjoyed the meal, the food lacked the flavor and umami we were craving. The pad Thai with wide noodles was a nice option instead of the usual thin noodles, but wish it had that traditional salty-sweet combo. The curry was nice.Definitely didn’t stop me from enjoying the very large portions!“
“The place is pretty spacious considering it's cramped in that plaza. Has upscale look without breaking the bank prices wise. So to the service I mean pretty attentive as far clearing plates and offering refills, plus there, but other that seemed to want to hang out more then serve. Just my two cents though. The Food, very impressive, I got a spicy tuna roll that actually had a kick spicy wise, plus the crunchy part on top rather then mixed in with tuna as filler. Pepper tuna roll did not disappoint, very seasoned well and roll itself was amazing not cheap on the fillings. As for midnight sun roll, crunchy shrimp tempura , sliced smoked salmon, a very well seasoned pepper tuna again and a really good sweet and spicy sauce. The roll did have eel but I could not tell so much since it disappeared within every other filling.“
“Food is of excellent quality. Always fresh, never overly greasy like a lot of other places and very flavorful. Many unique menu options. The restaurant is extremely clean. Most importantly the owners are wonderful people with the wife being such a sincere and sweet woman. We have frequented them for years now after discovering them and will never go anywhere else. Hands down my favorite Chinese restaurant of all time.“
“Excellent!!!!! I think it's the best around this area . Fresh and delicious....... Never have I received a bad dish. It seems to be only take out now which is fine with me , that's all I do anyway . Friendly people too . I love their food !“
“I love the Korean food at Toro. My favorite dish is Bulgogi with "the works", which is somewhat similar to a fajita except you wrap the beef in lettuce with red pepper paste and some rice and spice and also receive some sides such as broccoli, oshinko, a Japanese radish, pickled cucumber, and Kim Chee, which is spicy cabbage. My mouth is watering as I'm describing this dish! It is fantastic!“
