“The customer service is horrible, the front desk "warden" is very nasty. If you ask her a question she ignores you, all she is focused on is the money and not her customers. They raised their prices and took away the senior discount. The food is good although not always hot, they have a good variety. Whenever they have crabs you better bring your own utensil to crack them with or have a great set of teeth. They have a limited supply of crab crackers and ignore you when you ask for one. I am not particularly happy with the way they allow children to serve themselves. They should inform adults that they must accompany children to the servers. I actually saw a child eating out of the servers, wiped her nose with her hand like some children do and proceed to get food. its useless to bring it to the attention of the workers, they did nothing. Food good, service not so good. I waited months between visits...no change. Years ago it was a pleasure to visit.“

“Excellant service, very friendly and helpful. Crab salad is much better at this location then the other location, they chop up the crab and cucumber evenly and it balances out. The Green Dragon and Lobster roll were pretty good also. One of the better places for gyoza, very good flavor and texture. If you have kids, get a Shirley Temple for them, nice presentation.“

“I called to ask if one of their dishes was gluten free, and the person who answered the phone was SO KIND! She took extra time on the phone with me and gave me a list of dishes that they prepare gluten free, and she told me she’d put a menu with my food to make ordering next time easier for me as they mark which of their meals are gluten free. I ordered the coconut chicken, and it was excellent!!“

“Iron Chef in Newburgh is hands down one of the best restaurants we’ve been to. The food is even better than Benihana's and many other places we’ve tried. Every meal is fresh, flavorful, and consistently excellent.
What really makes this place special is the service. The manager, Joyce, always makes us feel welcome and appreciated. The staff is friendly, hardworking, and incredibly fast, even when they’re busy. You can tell everyone there truly cares about the customers and the quality of the food.
If you’re looking for great food, great service, and a restaurant that treats you like family, Iron Chef is the place to go. Highly recommended!

“If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would! The vegetables were fresh and cooked to perfection. The sauces were flavorful and profound but not too salty. We ordered pad cashew nut and pad prew wan (sweet and sour) both with tofu and they were both incredible! Can’t wait to go back.“

“My husband and I eat here regularly. Their sushi and sashimi is fresh, and served authentically, i.e. the white tuna is accompanied by shiso leaf. We’ve brought NYC friends here, who eat sushi regularly, and have commented how good the food is here. My husband who does not eat sushi but is happy with the menu’s Chinese dishes.“

“Went here with my family today and got hibachi. Food was delicious (ordered hibachi chicken), although the steak was slightly chewy. Hibachi chef made us laugh and we had a great show! Restaurant was slightly noisy but otherwise it’s a great place to go with people of any group size.“
