“A warm welcoming place offering French Creole cuisine from Reunion island. A compact menu offering very reasonably priced apps and mains, and a lot of lentil and rice. Ordered the sampler though a few items we wanted were out. Tender coconut shrimp and beef Bourguignon entrees were excellent. We were well taken care of by the staff.“

I had chicken tenders, my mom had fried shrimp ,we both had with sweet potato fries that had a slight syrupy taste which were amazing, we got hush puppies and calamari to split..both great..we ate and still have plenty left for a full meal.. also have a seperate full bar, frozen drinks, tv's etc service was also great ..I definitely recommend ...oh and great prices“

“Friend who tried Cap’t Loui in Cape Cod highly recommended it when she saw it open in Sunnyside, Queens. Prices are good, so you don’t have to wait to treat yourself only on special occasions. The Capt’n Loui sauce boil was really good and 1 pound per person was very filling. The garlic noodles as a side was delicious, and we tried it dipped in the boil’s sauce, too. Service was spectacular. Minh Kha gave us his favorites as suggestions and cleaned up after us well. All of my favorite pop tunes were playing as well. Thoroughly enjoyed and will be back.“

“I walked into Halal Cajun Platters and the man who was there treated me like family. I never met him in my entire life and I came in to get a green juice but I didn’t have enough money to pay for it. However the man who was at the counter treated me with so much love and kindness. The food is so incredible and every single thing on the menu is the best food you will ever eat and that’s because it is made with so much love. You will never find a spot like this in your life so many places make a bunch of food but there is no love! The vibes of this restaurant are incredible!!! “I discovered this place through Too Good To Go app. It's a family owned fish market and restaurant. They serve a variety of seafood, Chinese food and sushi. The staff here are very kind and accommodating, which is not the norm with a lot of places on TGTG.

I've been here several times and some of my favorite options are the seafood boil and sushi entrée. The seasoning in the seafood boil is so good! The fish is consistently fresh, which makes sense since it's a fish market. They also use the perfect rice ratio in their sushi. My favorite is the white tuna. The tuna just melts in your mouth, it's absolutely delicious!

Things to keep in mind, this is primarily a fish market so the seating is limited. Best to do takeout.“

“Good evening, I have been visiting this location periodically for years. I went there the other evening after some months, and they still haven't missed a beat. I should've wrote a review sooner!!!! Anywhere I can go and purchase a decent amount of food for a reasonable price...anddddd it's still hitting days later is a A+++ in my book. As I don't eat too much in one sitting and also I don't like having to waste food.
Oh, I enjoyed (Still enjoying) The customized broil. Where I had shrimp, potatoes, corn on the cob, boiled eggs, broccoli and this was my first time adding noodles!!!“
