“Stop here for breakfast on my birthday. The lentils soup was delicious, the food was excellent. Sour soup juice and lemonade was refreshing!

“Went to the brand new Houston location and things are a bit rocky with staffing and supplies but I want to brag on your employee CAMILLA ! We came from NC and after visiting Puerto Rico several times I was so excited for this experience! She was so patient with us! Answered all our questions with a very helpful and cheerful attitude even tho she was drowning in drink orders! With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! Camilla even gave me a hug when we left! She made my whole morning! And gave us the absolute best breakfast recommendation as well! Thank u so much Camilla for your grace and kindness this morning. “Ordered 5 tacos, very yummy. Just don't understand why it asks what sauce you want per taco to then completely ignore it, CONSTANTLY. If you don't want to give the sauce just don't offer it, sending other sauces instead, which weren't wanted, end up being thrown in the trash.“

It’s served with a spoon, which makes you go “Hm what is the spoon for?” It made for a fun little challenge at first (granted, I grazed and took about 2 hours to finish my meal) but once you get the hang of it, it’s like oh wow. Dressing was the standout; unique and memorable. Definitely one of the most interesting Caesar salads I’ve had. I had fun“

“I pass this place all the time but never thought to stop in. Big mistake! The other morning I finally decided to give it a try and ordered a late breakfast via DoorDash. I went with the Venezuelan Breakfast, and wow, it was incredible. The shredded beef was perfectly seasoned, the caraotas (black beans) were flavorful, and the arepa was easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The scrambled eggs and sweet maduros rounded everything out and made the meal so satisfying. Now I can’t wait to explore more of their menu. Highly recommend!“

“Listen, I’ve visited New York about three times now, and every single trip I make it a priority to stop at this bodega. I first discovered it during a tour on my very first visit, and I’ve been hooked ever since.

They sell a variety of things, but let me be clear—the empanadas are the star of the show. Oh. My. Gosh. They are packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and BIG. You can literally get full off just one.

If you’re ever in the area, do yourself a favor and try their empanadas. I have to warn you though: once you taste one from this spot, you’ll never be satisfied with an empanada from anywhere else. You’ll only crave theirs.

“It is an excellent place, good food, good prices, the staff is friendly and serves quickly, the place is clean, safe to eat and hang out. I recommend it. It seems like a good place. I have eaten there for years and it has always been a restaurant that I like to return to.

Vegetarian options: It is not a restaurant focused on vegetarian food but they sell salads, juices and a person who does not eat meat can still enjoy a good meal.

Kid-friendliness: It is a clean, quiet place, the staff is friendly and polite and the restaurant in my opinion does not represent any risk for a minor.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp so that a person in a wheelchair or other device that supports walking has the accessibility of being able to enter the premises without major difficulties.“
