“The food is delicious, served fast and hot and extremely affordable. Just a few weeks ago me, my wife, our son and my mother all went together. We had more than enough food and our bills only came to about $50 which is great when you consider the vast amount of dumplings we ordered.

Oh and try the Pork and Shrimp Dumplings. They are legendary.“

“Edit: Thank you for the reply. I visited the shop again on a Sunday afternoon and I was positively surprised by the rapidity of the service (less than 10 minutes wait). The drinks were very good and tasty too.

Good menu choice, however I have been here twice and both times I waited an unacceptable long time (40+ minutes) for a single simple drink. The pick up process is unstructured and unreliable. What's the point in waiting if you cannot even receive your drink. Strongly not recommended.“

The milk tea is the best I’ve ever had, and I absolutely loved the tofu/inari pockets, fresh, delicious seafood. The eel literally gets torched in front of you which is just such a lovely detail to how much they care about their customers’ experience. “The staff member who took my order was super sweet, and my food was ready within 10 minutes. The popcorn chicken was juicy, crispy, and flavorful. There were photos of Taipei, fitting for the food served. The restaurant was modern with a few tables for small groups and individuals.“

“I patronized this place for the first time today and this was purely by happenstance. I was delighted with the service and the cleanliness of the place, it was refreshing to actually find a place that looked clean and served quality cold beverages. The majority of businesses in that general area, with similar products are of a lower quality, and just did not seem appealing to me, to finally find a place like this little nook was a relief! “I always go to the one in downtown Brooklyn but I believe they shut down so I went here.
The lady in the front was nice & I asked for cheese form but I don’t think she heard me so she gave a regular queen drink, mango & strawberry. She was pretty quick with the drink, around 5 minutes it took.
I definitely do recommend the cheese form drinks, mango & strawberry, with white pearls! Those are my fav.“

“I came in and its a very cute little place! I ordered my drink, the strawberry latte and my mom ordered the passion fruit green tea. i loved my strawberry drink, but my mom said her passion fruit drink was bad. my mom's came out almost right away, and mine took a bit to make. still, i loved it!“

Kid-friendliness: It's fun for kids to sit by their little bar stools. Although tight space, design wise it ok. My son loved the Gemini tea as well, less sugar with jelly.“

“I was pleasantly surprised by the drinks that this place has. I came in with low expectations and was found myself enjoying the drinks here a lot. It doesn’t have the fake artificial taste that we’ve grown accustomed to, and the latte was also amazing. Fries are made fresh to order and require you to wait a few minutes, but it comes out piping hot and you will burn your mouth if you eat it right away. It has amazing crisp and the Cajun has good spice to it.“

“This is by far the BEST boba tea place in NYC, if not the country (I've tried quite a few up and down the east coast). In fact, I didn't think I liked boba until having Shiny Tea's tasty pearls. Their tea has so much flavor, so much depth. I highly recommend coming here, as often as you can, and trying as many combinations as possible. Passionfruit wenshan, pineapple black, and their winter melon oolong (or mint--both quite different from each other) are some of my favorites. Their milk teas are fantastic as well. “I get takeout from here all the time and the food is AMAZING but for some reason the plastic fork they provide always breaks while eating and I'll find myself biting into a loose prong halfway through my bowl??? This happens like every 2 out of 3 times too so I know it's not just a one off thing. Super odd but that would be my only ask that they get better utensils lol

“I came here because of their amazing 4.9 rating on Google Maps, however, I was not amazed by their food. I got curry puffs to start my dinner. The puffs were nice and flavorful. The outside was light and flaky, and the insides were well seasoned with nice texture. The sauce came with was too sweet to my liking. Personally I prefer eating it as it is. I pad see ew with shrimp and added beef($5). The flavor was nice and the shrimp was fresh and clean. However, the beef wasn’t so good especially when I paid $5 extra for them. It was too dry and chewy.
Overall, it’s a standard Thai restaurant. The food was nice but nothing special about it.“

“Super yummy boba drinks—we got the Taro milk tea with almond milk and the Mint lemonade with black tea made with freshly squeezed lemon juice. My kid and I couldn’t decide which one we liked better.
